A Study on Developing Flipped-MOOC Model in University (대학에서의 Flipped-MOOC 모형 개발)

  • The purpose of this research is to make a Flipped-MOOC model which can be applied and practiced in the college course after analyzing the characteristics and cases of MOOC and Flipped learning. For this, this study implemented the following tasks. First, this study analyzed the management and class types of MOOC and flipped learning through literature research. Secondly, flipped learning was applied in the course for a semester and the strong point and weak point of the course was analyzed and the alternative was suggested. Thirdly, the core ideas and strategies of Flipped-MOOC model was deducted for enhancing the participation and interaction of the students in the course which uses the MOOC content and applies flipped learning, and the instructional strategies and direction for the effective management in the real educational field was suggested. As a result, Flipped-MOOC model is expected to contribute for the educational revolution, change and quality improvement, and it is expected that Flipped-MOOC model might contribute to the lifelong education and educational competitiveness.

A Subject Integration Robot Programming Instruction Model to Enhance the Creativity of Information Gifted Students (초등정보영재의 창의성 신장을 위한 교과 통합 로봇 프로그래밍 수업 모형)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a subject integration robot programming instruction model to improve information gifted elementary students' creativity. For this goal, we have developed a subject integration robot programming instruction model and verified its effectiveness. The developed instruction model was applied to the 5th and 6th grade elementary school students. The developed model was applied to the experimental group and ordinary robot programming instruction model was applied to the comparison group. As a result, the model was significantly enhance students' creative disposition and creative cognitive abilities. According to these results, it has been proved that the subject integration robot programming instruction model is effective to the information gifted elementary students' creative disposition and creative cognition abilities.

  • Recently substantial learning model is strongly demanded through which ICT could be effectively used at PBL, teaching and learning method, based on constructivism putting an emphasis on learner centered education. This thesis is designed to introduce the way to make the most of ICT when teachers try to make teaching plan applying PBL to science class. PBL courseware is designed to make teacher and student use by applying traditional science class model to the model for problem solving of PBL. analysing class according to the degree of connecting ICT with contents of learning. This paper suggests 8 stages of PBL package development and 5 stages of teaching pattern to grasp whole procedure.

AHP와 정수계획법을 결합한 매체선택모형의 활용 가능성에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 기존문헌에서 논의되어온 수리적 매체선택모형의 한계점을 고려하여 의사결정자에게 유용한 매체선택지침을 제공할 수 있는 모형을 구축하고 이를 실제사례에 적용하여 모형의 현실적용성을 살펴본다. 기존의 매체선택모형들은 가정의 현실성 결여와 특정 요인의 단편적 고려 등으로 인하여 실행상의 문제점을 노출하였다. 최근 매체의 이미지, 소비자에 대한 소구, 편집항목 등 매체현상과 관련된 정성적 요소들을 고려하고자 하는 의도에서 AHP를 매체선택 문제에 활용하고 있으며 이것은 매체선택모형을 보다 현실적인 모형으로 만들고 있다. 또한 AHP에 의해 도출된 매체의 선호정도를 독립적으로 이용하는 것보다 정량적인 요소를 고려한 수리적 모형과 결합하는 것이 보다 효과적인 것으로 이해되고 있으며 이는 매체선택모형의 현실적합성을 한층 증가시키고 있다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 정성적 요소와 정량적 요소를 결합한 매체선택모형은 다양한 의사결정요소들을 모형에 포함시켰다는 의미에서 기존의 모형들과 차별화가 이루어지나 실제 모형을 적용하여 그 효과를 판단하는 것은 광고의 복잡성과 측정상의 문제로 인해서 매우 어려운 일로 보인다. 따라서 매체선택 모형은 더 이상 장량적인 관점에서 최적해를 추구하기 보다는 모형이 광고의 상황과 기업의 전략등에 얼마나 효과적으로 대처하는가에 초점을 맞추는 것이 중요하다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 AHP와 정수계획법을 결합한 모형을 이용하여 고려하고자하는 매체선택 관련요소들을 체계화하고 이 모형이 최적해를 산출하는 모형으로서가 아니라 의사결정자에게 매체선택지침을 제시하는 하나의 현실적인 의사결정지원도구로서 역할을 하고 있는가에 초점을 맞춘다. (4) 교수-학생간의 인간적인 관계, (5) 숙제 및 과제물과 같은 5가지의 요인으로 구성되어진 것으로 분석되었다. 특히 한국학생을 대상으로 하여 AHP를 이용하여 각 요인들의 수업효과에 대한 상대적 가중치를 조사하였다. 특이한 결과는, 미국학생의 경우 수업준비 및 강의 방법이 상대적으로 중시된 반면, 한국학생들은 미국학생들이 비교적 덜 중시하는 교수-학생간의 인간적인 관계가 수업효과를 높이는데 가장 큰 기여를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 한국 문화의 특징이라 할 수 있는 교수-학생간의 인간적인 관계가 중시되는 교육환경하에서, 정보화 사회의 한 수업형태인 재택수업을 외국(특히 미국)의 방법을 그대로 따라 실시할 경우, 많은 부작용이 있을 수 있다는 것을 암시하며, 따라서 우리 교육문화에 맞는 재택수업 형태의 개발이 시급함을 제시한다고 하겠다.column density of HCaN is (1-3):n1014cm-2. Development and Application of the Paper Model of Protein Synthesis Process in High School Biology (단백질 합성 과정 종이 모형 개발과 고등학교 생물 수업에서의 활용)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the paper model of protein synthesis process in order for students to learn more effectively the protein synthesis, and to examine learning effects of instruction using it in high school biology. For this study, 117 students of 12th grade were sampled from a high school in Daejeon metropolitan city. The students were divided into two groups; the control group(n=58) were taught the protein synthesis by explanation-based traditional teaching method, and the experimental group(=59) were taught them by using protein synthesis model. Instruction using the model of protein synthesis process was more effective in improving the students' academic achievements and motivating interests in their learning than the traditional intruction. The class using the models can be another effective teaching method to teach students abstract and complicated concepts like protein synthesis process.

The effect of Middle School Science Instruction Applying Digital Citizenship Learning Model on Digital Citizenship and Empathy (디지털 시민성 교수학습모형을 적용한 중학교 과학수업이 디지털 시민성과 공감에 미치는 효과)

  • This study explored the educational effects of the digital citizenship teaching and learning model on middle school science classes. For this purpose, two classes of the third grade of middle school in Gyeonggi-do were selected, and the experimental group(28 students) was taught science classes using digital citizenship learning model, and the control group(28 students) was taught in regular lectures. The measurements used to verify the effects of science classes using the digital citizenship learning model were digital citizenship and empathy tools. The data collected for the effect verification were analyzed by independent sample t-test and ANCOVA. As a result, the experimental group applying the digital citizenship learning model showed higher scores of digital citizenship and empathy than the control group. Therefore, it can be seen that the middle school science class applying the digital citizenship learning model was effective in cultivating the digital citizenship and empathy of middle school students. In future studies, it is necessary to examine the effects of digital citizenship learning model at different school levels and other subjects.

  • Flipped learning is generally designed to allow students to learn on their own in advance with the help of scaffolding material such as videos and text, and in the classroom, it is operated with the help of a teacher while the class is being learner-centered. For flipped learning, each of the teachers has to design the class, collect information, and prepare for scaffolding material, so they get to face a lot of difficulties spending much time to reorganize the curriculum and produce a video and so on. Accordingly, this researcher has developed flipped learning textbook models applicable to science class by analyzing Korean and overseas textbooks, conducting an in-depth interview to six science teachers practicing flipped learning, and also developing and applying the science textbook sample model. The elementary, middle, and high school science textbook models developed include not only the textbook-based model with no videos presented in advance but also the lecture-type model, experiment-based model, and inquiry and research-based model to realize flipped learning. This study is expected to present crucial implications to develop textbooks and science class as a class to perform learner-centered inquiry activity.

Conceptual Changes of Middle School Students on the Motion of the Moon Using the Cognitive Conflict Instructional Model (인지갈등 수업모형을 적용한 중학생의 달의 운동 개념 변화)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify types of preconception about the motion of the moon held by middle school students and find out how the lesson applying cognitive conflict instructional model changes their conceptual view of the motion of the moon. A quantitative study was first conducted with 48 ninth graders and then followed by a qualitative study. In the qualitative study, male and female students were organized into groups of five and ten respectively. Students were instructed to observe the motion of the moon about for a month and at the same time were taught via the cognitive conflict instructional model for three class periods. Data were collected from interviews and a questionnaire evaluating the degree of concept development that each student showed. A majority of students were found to hold misconceptions formed from elementary school programs on the motion of the moon. Further, students showed lack of scientific ability to interpret the phenomena of the moon. This study showed that the cognitive conflict instructional model was effective for students to make progress regarding their conceptual views of the motion of the moon. However, it was observed that misconceptions by students may possibly occur when two dimensional figures or miniatures were used.

  • 본 연구는 초등학교에서 프로그래밍 학습을 효과적으로 하기 위하여 초등학생들이 흥미를 갖고 참여할 수 있는 놀이 학습을 이용하여 프로그래밍 학습 모형을 작성하였다. 본 논문은 1) 놀이학습이 프로그래밍 언어 학습에 어느 정도 효과가 있는지 이론적 연구를 통하여 알아보고, 2) 학습자와 학습내용을 분석, 3) 수업모형과 각 단계별 세부사항, 4) 실제 수업에의 활용 등을 주요 내용으로 한다. 놀이학습을 이용한 프로그래밍 학습은 초등학생이 프로그램에 대해서 쉽게 이해하고 흥미있게 접근할 수 있다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.
