The Research of Exploring Factors Impact on User's Continuance Usage of Chinese Short-clip Application: Based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and use of Technology (UTAUT) and Flow Theory (중국 쇼트 클립 어플리케이션 지속 이용의도 연구: 플로우 이론과 통합기술수용모형을 바탕으로)

  • This research explored how the various of factors including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions and some external factors consisting of critical mass, attention, perceived enjoyment, and time distortion had impacts on users' usage of short-clip application based on flow theory and the UTAUT model. The research employed SEM with 263 valid questionnaires. The results showed that social influence and satisfaction factors had positive impacts in sustainable usage of mobile short-clip application, while the other factors have no special effect on it. The results also indicated that time distortions had a negative effect in the intention of continuous usage. Furthermore, performance expectancy, perceived enjoyment, and time distortions had positive impacts in users' satisfaction. The beneficial effects of critical mass on social influence had been recognized through this study.

Fatigue Characteristics and Compressive Residual Stress of Shot Peened Alloy 600 Under High Temperature (쇼트피닝 가공된 Alloy 600 재료의 고온환경하에서의 잔류응력 및 피로특성)

  • The compressive residual stress and fatigue behavior of shot peened alloy 600 under a high-temperature environment is investigated in this study. Alloy 600 is used in the main parts of nuclear power plants, and the compressive residual stress induced by the shot peening process is considered to prevent SCC (stress corrosion cracking). To obtain practical results, the fatigue characteristics and compressive residual stress are evaluated under the actual operating temperature of a domestic nuclear power plant, as well as a high-temperature environment. The experimental results show that the peening effects are valid at a high temperature lower than approximately $538^{\circ}C$, which is the threshold temperature. The fatigue life was maintained at temperatures lower than $538^{\circ}C$, and the compressive residual stress at $538^{\circ}C$ was 68.2% of that at room temperature. The present results are expected to be used to obtain basic safety and reliability data.

  • 본 연구는 U사의 SMD Wave Soldering 공정을 최적화하기 위해 납땜에 관련된 PCB의 여러 계수형 특성들을 종합하여 계량화한 후 분석한 사례이다. SMD Wave Soldering 공정은 PCB 불량의 80% 이상을 결정하는 중요 공정으로 SMD 작업 불량으로 인한 재작업 등 각종 문제점들을 내포하고 있다. 그러나 검사 결과 미납, 냉납, 과납, 쇼트 등의 발생 건수 형태의 계수형 데이터가 집계되어 이를 체계적으로 분석하여 공정을 개선하는데 어려움이 있어 불량 유형별로 보다 세분화된 평가표를 작성하여 먼저 데이터를 계량화한 후 이를 기초로 공정 개선을 실시하였다.

Scene Arrangement Analyzed through Data Visualization of Climax Patterns of Films (영화 클라이맥스 패턴의 데이터시각화를 통해 분석한 장면 배열)

  • This study conducts data visualization of common climax patterns of Korean blockbuster films to analyze shots and evaluate scene (subplot unit) arrangement. For this purpose, a model of editing patterns is used to analyze how many climax patterns a film contains. Moreover, a system, which automatically collects shot images and classifies shot sizes of collected data, is designed to demonstrate that a single scene is composed based on a climax pattern. As a scene is a subplot and thus its arrangement cannot fully be analyzed only by climax patterns, dialogues of starring actors are also used to identify scenes, and the result is compared with data visualization results. It detects dialogues between particular actors and visualizes dialogue formation in a network form. Such network visualization enables the arrangement of main subplots to be analyzed, and the box office performance of a film can be explained by the density of subplots. The study of two types comparison analysis is expected to contribute to planning, plotting, and producing films.

Directional effects of close-up shot in Development of Narrative - Focusing on Animation - (내러티브 전개에서의 클로즈업 쇼트의 연출 효과 - 애니메이션을 중심으로-)

  • Even if shots in frames may be variable in both movies and animations, close-up reveals the significance of the subject in the focus. Because directors and animators take the place the actor as character in animation while performance of actor plays an important role in the close-up in the movies, it is significant to understand the close-up in the animation. In the present study we investigate the dramatic effect of close-up in the animation narrative in animations for theaters. Among the various dramatic effects of the close-up, the natural flow of the narrative and the induction of immersing in emotion are focused. Descriptive close-up is analyzed as a dramatic effect of inducing the natural flow of the narrative. Psychological close-up is analyzed as the induction of immersing emotion by effective delivery of internal mental state of a character. By analyzing symbolic close-up as the induction of immersing in the play by producing a dramatic effect, we expect that the close-up contribute to the advance of animation narrative structure.

  • CMOS의 최종형태로써 Gate-All-Around(GAA) Silicon Nanowire(NW)가 각광받고 있다. 이 논문에서 NW FET(Field Effect Transistor)의 채널 길이와 NW의 폭과 같은 size에 따른 특성변화를 실제 실험 data와 NW FET 특성분석 simulation을 이용해서 비교해보았다. MOSFET(Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor)의 소형화에 따른 쇼트 채널 효과(short channel effect)에 의한 threshold voltage($V_{th}$), Drain Induced Barrier Lowering(DIBL), subthreshold swing(SS) 또한 비교하였다. 이에 더하여, 기존의 상용툴로 NW를 해석한 시뮬레이션 결과와도 비교해봄으로써 NW의 size scaling에 대한 EDISON NW 해석 simulation의 정확도를 파악해보았다.

  • 실리콘 나노선 전계 효과 트랜지스터(Field Effect Transisor: FET)의 특성을 시뮬레이션을 통해 연구하였다. 일반적인 트랜스컨덕턴스(transconductance) 값을 이용하여 소자의 전계 효과 이동도(field effect mobility)를 추출했고, Y-function 방법을 이용하여 저전계 이동도(low field mobility)와 문턱전압(threshold voltage)를 구했다. 채널길이가 10nm로 매우 짧을 때와 100nm의 일반적인 길이 일 때의 전하 이동도 특성을 비교하여 Si 나노선 FET의 쇼트 채널 효과(short channel effect)를 보았다.

Use of Long Take in The Film <The Graduate> : Focused on Mise-en-Scène (영화 <졸업>에 나타난 롱테이크의 이용 : 미장센을 중심으로)

  • The research was started out of curiosity for what made 's fast and trilling pace possible although it is an old movie. The center of what made it possible was its use of the Long Take - Long Take was used in all of the scenes and in some cases only long take was used. What is interesting is the film maker's use of various cinematic techniques to prevent the scene from being too slow and keep the audience immersed in the characters. In one shot, acting in addition to Mise-en-Sc$\grave{e}$ne were used to provide psychological immersion of character and scene. The use of Long Take, with the exception of some intentional scenes, was difficult to notice without conscience observation. All the components that make up Long Take. camera walking and lighting as well as actor's dialog and performance and scene movement all beautifully came together. The Long Take is generally replaced by many different sort shots. However, Mike Nichols clearly demonstrates the benefit of Long Take. In the movie, the general aesthetics from the use of Long Take is slightly altered for a different purpose. The specific methods and effects used in the application of Long Take is the subject of this study.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify ironic characteristics that appear through ironic reversal in formal aspect and foreshadow structure examined through the progression stage of irony within the narrative structure in contents aspect. This study is intended to research how ironic expressions is embedded in latest full-length animation created by major animation production companies in America, such as PDI Dreamworks and Pixar. As identified in this study, the irony can be defined into two categories. First, Irony appears dramatically in a last scene through the process of prediction and implication after setting up a situation. It delivers laughter as it is mainly used to portray characters or to set up backgrounds for incidents. Secondly, foreshadow that appeared in the early part of animation in relation to irony was revealed with a surprising twist with the cause-and-effect relationship in the middle or end of the play. The irony strengthens dramatic elements and was used to make the story richer. By analyzing two american full-length animation films, various consecutive ironic expressions in narrative, which is the reversal irony in continuous scene or irony used with foreshadow were identified.

  • Aristotle's Poetics is the earliest work of dramaturgy. It explains some of the most important narrative notions, for example, Mimesis, Katharsis, Mythos(Plot), Ethos(Character), Anagnorisis and Peripeteia. etc. Aristotle considered the plot which is the arrangement of events, as the most important element of drama. This paper presents an example of a plot configuration as an alternative to the traditional narration used since Aristotle. Dead Island, developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver, is one of the most successful action role-playing survival zombie video games. Its trailer, the Winner of Gold Prize for Internet Film at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2011. Since the purpose of the trailer is to attract the audiences/gamers to the film/game, it has generally a similer narrative method from its own works. But Dead Island trailer is different. We treat this trailer as an short animation. It could be a new example of the non-linear narrative by the control of the time for example, temporal arrangement, direction and speed. We analyse all shots of Dead Island's trailer with Poetics' rules and with $G{\acute{e}}rard$ Genette's some narrative notions for example temporal order and duration. Furthermore we look for how to maximize the audiences' curiosity by the adjustment of the time, combined with its shocking images.
