A study on the necessity of fire extinguisher in the passenger car (승용자동차의 소화기 비치 필요성에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 승용자동차에 대한 소화기 비치 필요성 및 소화기의 효용성 및 적정성에 대해 평가하고자 한다. 이를 위해 소방청 국가화재정보센터에 입력된 차량화재를 분석하였으며, 국외 자동차용 소화기 비치기준을 조사하였다. 또한, 자동차를 대상으로 한 시뮬레이션 선행연구 결과를 분석하여 다른 차종에 비해 승용자동차의 위험도가 가장 높다. 한편, 기존의 시뮬레이션 연구결과를 분석해보면 소화기를 이용한 초기진화가 가능한 황금시간은 실내화재 시 2분, 엔진룸화재 시 약 7분 정도임을 알 수 있다. 이는 승용자동차 화재 시 소화기를 이용한 초기소화가 절실하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 승용자동차 화재로부터 국민의 안전과 재산을 보호하고 국내 자동차 안전환경 및 자동차 안전기준을 국제기준에 맞춰 국제 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해서는 승용자동차에 소화기 비치를 의무화할 필요성이 있다.

Research on the Current Status of Installation and Awareness of Fire Extinguishers and Awareness of Fire Extinguishers (일상생활 환경에서의 소화기 비치 실태와 소화기 인식에 관한 연구)

  • The main purpose of this study is to propose a directionfor fire safety education and to discuss the current issues of fire extinguisher training A survey was conducted, and the results show that only 52.1% of homes have a fire extinguisher, whereas over 93% of public and private work places (e.g., schools and businesses) have a fire extinguisher. Approximately 90% of the survey participants had fire extinguisher training experience. However, only 65.8% of the public and private work places conducted fire extinguisher training regularly. 42.5% of survey participants had not been trained in the past year. In the survey result on fire extinguisher knowledge, participants showed a score of 3.95/5.00 for how to use a fire extinguisher and a score of 3.00/5.00 for the meaning of the ABC ratings of fire extinguishers. An independent T-test showed that the "the installation of fire extinguishers in the house" and "regular fire safety education in your group" have influences on the "the knowledge of fire extinguishers" (p < .05).

Prescribing Superfluous Gastroprotective Agents: an Indicator of Polypharmacy (불필요한 소화기관용 약제의 처방: 다제처방의 요인)

  • 서론: 본 연구는 불필요한 소화기관용 약제의 처방이 한국에서의 처방전 당 약물 개수를 증가시키는 것과의 연관성을 검토하고자 수행되었다. 연구방법: 연구를 위한 자료로 건강보험심사평가원의 처방전 데이터와 환자의 기타 모든 의료보험 청구데이터를 이용하였고, 두 데이터셋을 연결하여 처방전들을 소화기관용 약제의 필요성에 따라 소화기관질환 그룹, 관절염질환 그룹,소화기관용 약제 처방이 불필요할 것으로 그 외 질환 그룹으로 구분, 분리하였다. 결과: 처방전 당 약물의 평균 개수의 분포는 세 그룹에서 비슷한 양상을 보였는데, 관절염질환 그룹과 그 외 질환 그룹의 거의 절반 이상은 한 개의 소화기관용 약제를 포함하였다. 세 그룹 모두 처방전 당 약물 개수와 처방전 당소화기관용 약제의 개수가 1차 선형관계를 보였다. 그 외 질환 그룹에서는 처방전 당 전체 약물이 평균 6개를 넘는 경우, 적어도 한 개의 소화기관용 약제가 포함되었다. 본 연구는 불필요한 소화기관용 약제를 처방하는 것은 다제처방의 매우 유의한 예측인자임을 보였다. 결론: 향후, 약제 처방전의 질을 향상시키기 위해서는 각각의 약물을, 특히 소화기관용 약제를, 처방 시 약제의 불가피한 필요성에 대해 판단할 수 있어야 할 것이다.

Analysis of the Precautionary Measures and Causes on Explosion Accidents of a Old Dry Chemical Powder Extinguisher (노후 분말소화기의 폭발사고 원인과 예방대책에 관한 분석)

  • Fatal injuries and deaths have occurred resulting from the operation or disassembling of a powder extinguishers in Korea. If a rusted powder extinguisher is exploded during operation or disassembling, it rises to the air like a rocket and hits a head, chest, or neck part of an operator, resulting in his (her) death or injury. In this study examines the explosion accident cases of a powder fire extinguisher and analyzes their causes, reactions to explosion, and precautionary measures. And in this paper suggests 1) no using of old fire extinguishers in fire drill or education, 2) education and public information on danger of old fire extinguishers, 3) indication of explosion danger to cartridge-type dry chemical powder fire extinguishers had already placed to buildings etc., 4) obligatory indication of durable years on fire extinguishers, 5) examination for introduction of system that do hydraulic pressure test about fire extinguishers that given period past, 6) construction of system that reclaim old fire extinguishers, 7) construction of system that recycle or reuse old fire extinguishers, and 8) operation of help desk related to old fire extinguishers as precautionary measure of fire extinguisher explosion accidents.

  • In this paper, the fire extinguisher maintenance system using smart NFC communication and the real-time pressure measurement is proposed. The proposed system consists of three steps in the flow of information. The first step is to identify the fire extinguisher through NFC tagging in the fire extinguisher module using the smart device. The fire extinguisher appearance check and the real-time pressure measurement is performed in the second step, and the last step sends the check status information to the management server. In particular, the actual pressure value is calculated based on the angle of the green area and the indicating needle. Some experiments are conducted so as to verify the proposed system, and as a result, the proposed system shows that the administrator can effectively control the status information of fire safety check.

  • This study examined the recycling system of a foreign lung excreta system. First, the measures for promoting the recycling of a pulmonary digestive system were as follows. Second, a manual considering specialization, such as the construction of a recycling treatment system of fire extinguishers and the collection, transportation, recycling, publicity, and education of fire extinguishers, were developed. Third, an education and counseling system is needed to overcome the lack of experience and technical support for systematic and safe disposal of pulmonary digestive system. Fourth, to promote the recycling of fire extinguishers in the government and fire extinguisher related organizations, it is necessary to prevent environmental pollution and recycle parts to reduce the waste of resources and improve the fire extinguisher quality by fostering a fire safety industry and policy support.

Analysis of the Apparent Specific Gravity for Type-3 Dry Chemical Powder with the Changes in the Internal Pressure of Dry Chemical Extinguisher (분말소화기의 내부압력 변화에 따른 제3종 분말소화약제의 겉보기비중 실험 분석)

  • This study aims to analyze whether the performance of the fire extinguisher meets the criteria for the apparent specific gravity property test by calculating the change in internal pressure and the use period of the fire extinguisher as a new one with 5 years, recycled one with 5 years, a new one with 10 years, and a new one with 13 years, respectively. As a result of the experiment, when the internal pressure of the fire extinguisher was 0%, the first, second, and third arithmetic mean analysis of the dry chemical extinguisher according to the use period was found to be condemned. When the internal pressure of the fire extinguisher was 50%, it was measured as 130 ml in sample 12-08-new and analyzed as unsuitable. Also, sample 09-09-new of a new dry chemical extinguisher with 13 elapsed years measured 145ml, which was found inappropriate. All other dry chemical extinguishers were analyzed to be suitable. All were noted suitable when having normal internal pressure of the fire extinguisher, except for sample 09-06 of a new dry chemical extinguisher with 13 elapsed years, which was determined to be unsuitable caused by measuring as 131 ml for experimental value. As a result of experiments, some of the apparent specific gravity tests of dry chemical extinguishers from 10 years to 13 years have found that they are unsuitable for the performance of the fire extinguishers due to the massive phenomenon. Accordingly, it is necessary to reduce the endurance period of dry chemical extinguishers from 10 years to 7 years.

  • 사물인터넷을 기반으로 실시간으로 소화기 주변의 상태와 화재 발생 여부, 소화기의 상태를 확인할 수 있는 웹 시스템과 화재 알림을 받을 수 있는 애플리케이션을 설계하였다. 소화기 주변의 온도와 습도를 측정하여 화재 유무를 판단하고, 화재를 감지했을 시에 LED 불빛과 경고음을 출력한다. 자이로센서를 이용하여 소화기의 쓰러짐 상태를 파악한다. 웹페이지에서 소화기의 상태 및 소화기 주변의 온습도 상태, 화재 여부를 확인할 수 있다. 사용자는 애플리케이션을 이용하여 회원가입, 로그인을 수행할 수 있으며 화재 알림을 받을 수 있다.
