  • As the prices of agricultural, fishery, and dairy products have been fluctuating due to recent instability on commodity prices, so consumers have been more inclined to make purchase without specific criteria by relying on marketing or their personal experiences and senses of market. The core function of this application is precisely and conveniently telling the consumption index to consumers who are waved by unstable commodity prices by helping users to easily understand the price index of agricultural, fishery, and dairy products in real time using public data. And, it also includes the AI Chatbot and voice recognition function, and meets the convenience of natural language processing and hands-free etc..

Means-End Chain Approach to Understand Consumer Motivation Towards Convenience Meat Products: Focus on New York City in US Market (수단-목적 사슬 이론을 적용한 소비자의 육류 편의제품에 대한 가치 측정: 미국 뉴욕 지역을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze how consumers make links between convenience meat products and self-relevant consequences and value. Surveys on convenience meat product consumption patterns and hard laddering based on means-end chain theory were conducted from April 21 to April 25, 2014 and targeted 200 consumers in the US. The most preferred cooking method of convenience meat product was roast (25.9%) and the most common information medium was suggestions by friends and parents (37.1%). The main as well as desired places of purchasing were both the supermarket (33.6% and 27.3%, respectively). The most preferred promotion method was free sample events (38.5%). From analyzing means-end chains of convenience meat products, the most dominant value chain was 'taste (A)'-'good taste (C)'-'feel good (V)'. These results show that consumption of convenience meat products will increase when consumer expectations of taste and satisfaction are met. Further, results of the value measurement provide information on consumer satisfaction and needs and can be applied to set marketing strategies for Korean style convenience meat products.

  • 만약 사용자가 원하는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 원하는 시간에 TV를 통해서 볼 수 있게 된다면, 다시 말해서 보고 싶을 때, 보고 싶은 방송을 포함한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 원하는 시간에 바로 볼 수 있게 된다면 사용자는 방송시간에 맞추어 TV를 보지 않아도 되고 원하는 콘텐츠를 검색하느라 시간을 보낼 필요도 없어질 것이다. 예약 녹화의 경우에는 시간정보를 가지고 미리 예약을 해야 하는 경우이므로 이와는 다른 경우라 하겠다. 이러한 서비스는 바로 디지털 콘텐츠와 이를 가정에서 저장할 수 있는 장치의 발달이 바탕이 되고 있다.(표 1 생략, 원문이미지 참조) 표 1은 영국의 BBC사에서 1998년에 조사한 자료로 디지털 멀티미디어 데이터를 저장하고 재생할 수 있는 저장장치의 가격과 용량의 전망을 나타낸다. 여기에서 데이터는 5.5 Mbps급의 MPEG-2 스트림을 기준으로 하였다. 표 1에서 보수적 견해는 매 18개월마다, 현실적 견해는 매 10개월마다 동일 가격의 용량이 2배가 되는 것으로 계산한 것이다. 여기서 보듯 저장장치의 가격 대비 성능이 갈수록 나아지고 있어 가정에서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 저장할 수 있는 가정용 서버의 등장이 멀지 않았음을 보여준다. 1999년 가을에 활동을 접은 DAVIC의 마지막 활동이 바로 이러한 저장장치를 이용한 "TV Anytime Service"였다 . Anytime Ser vice란 저장장치를 통해 사용자가 원하는 콘텐츠를 저장해 놓았다가 사용자가 원하는 시간에 언제나 볼 수 있다는 개념이다. 이를 소비자관점에서 보면 Personalized service라고 할 수 있다. 이어 1999년 여름에 창설이 된 "TV Anytime Forum"이라는 단체에서 이러한 저장장치를 이용한 서비스를 위한 환경을 구축하고 있다. TV Anytime Forum은 가정에서 저장장치가 있는 단말인 PDR(Personal Digital Recorder)을 이용한 서비스, 즉 Anytime Service 위한 응용을 가능하게 하기위한 콘텐트 개발자에서부터 가전기기에 이르는 분야에서 Interoperable한 규격을 만들어 보자는 것이 그 목적이다. 특히 여러가지 디지털미디어 전달방식, 예를 들어 DVB, ATSC, ARIB 등에 독립적인 규격을 만드는 것을 원칙으로 하고 있다. 1999년 7월에 첫 번째 회의를 하면서 설립이 되었다. 2001년 말 기준으로 BBC, NHK, Microsoft, Sony, IBM, Phillips, NTT, Intel, Canal+, Tivo, 대우전자, 삼성전자, LG전자, KETI, ETRI 등 콘텐츠 사업자, 방송업자, 네트웍 사업자, 가전업체, 소프트웨어 개발회상에 이르기까지 총 157개 회원사로 구성되어 있으며 년 6회 회의를 개최한다. 2000년 11월에는 서울에서 회의를 개최하였으며 2003년 6월에 다시 한국에서 개최하기로 확정되어 있다. 본 글에서는 이러한 Anytime Service 환경이 구축되었을 때의 각 산업별로 얻을 수 있는 이득에 대해서 알아보고 TV Anytime Forum의 각 Working Group들의 작업 내용들, 그리고 지난 1월에 열렸던 15차 회의의 결과들에 대해서 살펴보고 국내의 TV Anytime 활동에 대해서 간단하게 소개하고 마치도록 하겠다. 현재 디지털 방송기술, 비디오 스트리밍 기술이나 MPEG 등과 같은 기술수준으로도 충분히 이러한 서비스를 시작할 수 있으며 소비자들도 이러한 욕구를 서서히 느끼고 있다. 정보와 서비스를 선택할 수 있게 만들자는 목표를 설정하고 있다. 이러 목표는 통신$.$컴퓨터$.$멀티미디어 기술발전으로 가능하게 되었다.

  • Today's world has been changing form post-industrial society to information society, and criteria of human value, also, has been changing from physical to intellectual and sensible. Based on this trend, intellectual and sensible value of a product is becoming more important in comsumer's market than physical value. The environment of product design has been rapidly changing. Users and consumers pursuit sensible satisfaction through their lives based on images of products. As the environment in which a product is used has been more important, companies have placed more emphasis on consumers and users, and are trying to satisfy their consumers by developing products with emphasis on their design, as well as to develop human technology. In ever-changing environment, a question is if sensible design can be developed in product design. Companies could upgrade their competitive power and brand image only if they could develope designs which could satisfy consumers through sensible design approach with a base on systematic research on h~man sensibility. In this context, the purpose of this study was to: investigate consumer's evaluations on and preferences for formative images of products according to the types of human sensibility. This research study placed emphasis on quantitative analysis of consumers' emotional needs to find out consumer's evaluations on and preferences for formative images of products. The researcher reviewed related literature on human sensibility and design, as well as G-Kansei and product design. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analyzed through a statistical program, and highly effective design strategy was investigated through analysis of data and interpretation of the results.

The Influence on Store Attitudes and Revisit Intentions of Consumers' Perception of Service Providers' Marketing Attitudes (서비스기업의 마케팅 활동에 대한 소비자의 지각이 점포태도와 재방문의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the influence on customers' experiences of products, prices, places of advertisements, staffs, and physical environments, and the impact on store attitudes and revisit intentions of the customers' experiences. For this, in this study marketing activities and store attitude factors were selected as sub-factors and the empirical analysis was carried out. As a result of the analysis, of dimensions that comprise those marketing activity factors, physical environments, prices, and places had a positive impact on store attitudes. In addition, the stores' positive attitude on hypermarkets had a positive influence on the customer's revisit intention. The results of the study suggest that hypermarkets can utilize the experiential marketing using customer experience factors as their important strategic factor through moving away from their traditional marketing activities.

  • In this study, The purpose of this study is to analyze how the rating scale and review contents attributes of social network-based services and products affect consumer purchasing patterns. information provided by screening the main factors. These analyzes are closely and quickly integrated between individuals and businesses, and enable to analyze the transaction that the impact of changing consumers on consumption and purchasing through the usefulness and a priori estimates of reviews and ratings at this time when networks and smart technologies are involved in a wide range of consumer activities. For this study, hierarchical analysis (AHP) and delphi (Delphi) methods applied to classify the high end variables into usefulness, technicality and value, Each subvariable was grouped into three factors and analyzed for importance through evaluation weights. As a result, we could analyze the importance of durability, usefulness, technological innovation, and cost and quality of value. Therefore, this study is expected to provide supplementary and additional useful information to consumers and companies participating in economic activities in various ways by simultaneously analyzing the review score and the reliability of posting information provided by verifying the main factors.

  • Internet privacy has become a significant issue in recent years in light of the sharp increase in internet-based social and economic activities. The technology which collects, processes and disseminates personal information is improving significantly and the demand for personal information is rising given its inherent value in regard to targeted marketing and customized services. The high value placed on personal information has turned it into a commodity with economic worth which can be transacted in the marketplace. Therefore, it is strongly required to approach the issue of privacy from economic perspective in addition to the prevailing approaches. This article analyzes the behaviors of consumers and firms in gathering personal information, and shielding it from unauthorized access, using a game theory framework in which players strive to do their best under the given conditions. The analysis shows that there exist no market forces which require all firms to respect consumer privacy, and that government intervention in the form of a nudging incentive for information sharing and/or strict regulation is necessary.

A Study on the Impact of CSV(Creating Shared Value) of Delivery Companies on Confidence and Intention to Use Delivery Service: Focused on Senior Parcel Delivery Service (택배업체의 CSV(공유가치창출)가 신뢰 및 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 실버택배 서비스를 중심으로)

  • The Delivery Companies are Facing the Difficulty in their Delivery Services due to the Continuously Increasing Delivery Demand and Insufficient Supply of Delivery Persons to Satisfy the Demand. In Such Circumstances, the Delivery Companies have been Implementing the CSV Service by Introducing the Senior Parcel Delivery Service Creating Jobs for Senior Citizens. This Paper Investigated the Impact of the Quality of Senior Parcel Delivery Service, CSV Activities, and Individual Characteristic Factors of Consumers on the Customers' Confidence and Intention to Use the Delivery Service of Delivery Companies. For the Empirical Analysis, the Online/Offline Questionnaire Survey was Executed with the Individuals who used the Delivery Service and 216 Samples were Finally Selected for Empirical Analysis. In Accordance with the Analysis Results, the Speed, the Quality of Senior Parcel Delivery Service, had Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence, but Safety had no Significant Impact on it. Next, the Sincerity of CSV Activity by Senior Parcel Delivery Service Companies Showed the Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence. However, the Adequacy of CSV Activity had No Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence. Furthermore, the Consumption Value and Ethical Consumption Propensity, the Individual Features of Consumers, Demonstrated the Significant Impact on the Customers' Confidence and also on the Customers' Confidence on and their Intention to use Senior Parcel Delivery Service Companies.
