  • This study investigates the effects of justice dimensions on negative emotion, consumer satisfaction after service recovery, repurchase intention and word-of-mouth intention in a context of service recovery. Behavioral intentions(repurchase intention and word-of-mouth intention) are critical to the discount store sellers' survival and success. The research model is an extension of previous studies, especially considering more recent developments in the service recovery literature. A survey using 458 customers in China was conducted, confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the validity of the measurement model, and AMOS analysis approach was used to gain important insights into how customer retention in the discount store business can be ensured. The results suggest that all three dimensions of justice had negative effects on negative emotion, had positive effects on satisfaction after service recovery. Negative emotion had negative effects on recovery satisfaction. Recovery satisfaction had positive effects on repurchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. Finally, this study suggests the implications of these findings and offers directions for future research.

  • This paper investigated main determinants of paid-VOD user satisfaction and re-purchasing intention in IPTV platform. The findings showed that 'perceived system quality' was the significant antecedent variable influencing 'perceived usefulness' and 'perceived cost'. Meanwhile, 'perceived content quality' had the insignificant effect on 'perceived cost, while strongly and positively affecting 'perceived playfulness'. Regarding the relative size effect on the relationship between the belief variables and re-purchasing intention, content quality, cost, usefulness and playfulness were higher in the order, implying that functional benefits, like price and quality is the most crucial factor facilitating re-purchasing paid-VOD. Likewise, several variables associated with user characteristics and situation were employed as moderating variables to examine their impact on the process of formation of belief, satisfaction and intention. We found that there were distinct differences in value cognition and satisfaction level among users, depending on IPTV acceptance period, paid-VOD purchasing frequency, age and income level.

The findings of this study are summarized as follows. The effect of wine selection attributes on satisfaction showed that price, label and wine characteristic had a significant positive effect on satisfaction. The effect of wine selection attributes on repurchase intention showed that locality, price, and wine characteristic had a significant positive effect on repurchase intention. For wine attributes affecting satisfaction, the wine involvement moderated the relationship between locality, price, and satisfaction of wine attributes. And for wine attributes affecting repurchase intention, the wine involvement moderated the relationship between label and repurchase intention of wine attributes. In other words, local characteristics and reasonable prices of the cultivation areas for wine, and indigenous characteristics of wine in quality itself supported the existing preceded findings. And these findings showed the characteristics in that the wine involvement moderates satisfaction and repurchase intention.
