자동차용 셸형 경음기의 개발

  • 자동차에 사용되는 경음기는 자동차들 사이뿐만 아니라 특히 보행자에게 경적음을 발생하여 사고를 사전에 방지하기 위하여 사용되는 자동차의 필수 부품 이다. 일반적으로 경음기는 2가지 특성에 의해 특정지워 질 수 있는데 이는 음압과 주파수(음색) 특성이다. 이들 모두는 규격에 의하여 제한되는 요소들로서, 전자의 경우 너무 소리가 적게되면 경음기로서의 기능을 상실하게 되며 지나치게 크게 되면 상대방 및 주위에 지나치게 크게 피해를 주게 되는 요소이다. 후자의 경우 동일한 크기의 음압이라도 그것을 구성하는 특성에 따라 인간에게 주어지는 소음에 의한 심리적 영향이 달라지게 되므로 불쾌음의 발생을 지양해야 한다. 이 글에서는 같은 음의 세기라도 상대적으로 부드러운 음색을 갖는 셸(shell)형 경음기의 특성 및 개발 결과에 대하여 언급하고자 한다.

벨로스의 고유진동수 해석 및 간이식 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of the Natural Frequencies and the Development of the Simplified Formulas for Bellows)

  • This paper presents the simplified formulas for calculating the fundamental frequencies of the cantilevered bellows in the axial and lateral directions. The frequencies of the bellow are evaluated based on analogies with those of the beam. It is shown that the results calculated by the simplified formulas are in good agreement with those obtained from FEM analysis and the experiment.

보강원통셸의 최소중량화설계 연구 (A Study on the Minimum Weight Design of Stiffened Cylindrical Shells)

  • 본 연구에서는 여러가지 하중조건하에서 단순지지된 보강원통셸의 최소중량화 설계문제를 CONMIN을 사용하여 해석하고, 일반적인 대칭적층[0/.+-..theta./90]$_{s}$ 의 복합 적층원통셸, 복합적층honeycomb sandwich원통셸, 그리고 보강된 복합적층원통셸의 최 소중량화 설계문제에도 확장 적용한다. 설계변수(design variable)로는 등방성재료 인 경우와 복합적층인 경우 최대 9개, 부등제한조건으로는 전체좌굴(general buckling ), 준전체좌굴(panel buckling), 판 및 보강재의 국부좌굴(local cripping), 로링모드 (rolling mode), 그리고 응력과 변형률제한 등의 성질제한조건(behavior constraints) 과 설계변수의 상, 하한을 나타내는 기하학적 제한(side constraints)등 최대 32개를 설정한다. 본 최소중량화 설계예에서는 보강재의 최적단면형상을 검토하기 위하여 직사각형(R)형, I형, 그리고 T형 단면 등의 보강재들을 사용한다.

외압을 받는 복합재 셸의 좌굴해석을 위한 실험 및 수치 해석 연구 (Study of numerical analysis and experiment for composite pressure hull on buckling pressure)

  • The results of an experimental and analytical study of composite pressure hull on buckling pressure are presented for LRN 300. Composite tensile test was done to know the composite material properties applied FE analysis for URN composite. We predicted the buckling and post buckling analysis of composite laminated cylindrical panels under external compression by using ABAQUS /Standard[Ver 6.4]. To obtain nonlinear static equilibrium solutions for unstable problems, where the load-displacement response can exhibit the type of nonlinear buckling behavior, during periods of the response, the load and/or the displacement may decrease as the solution evolves, used the modified Riks method. The modified Riks method is an algorithm that allows effective solution of such cases [7]. Experiments were conducted to verify the validation of present analysis for cross-ply laminated shells. The shells considered in the study have two different lamination patterns, $[{\pm}45/0/90]_{18s\;and}\;[/0/90]_{18s}$. Cylindrical panel of experiment and analysis have the radius of 200mm, length of 210mm and 60 degree of cutting angle. The critical load from experiment is $69\%$ of that of numerical analysis, because the fracture of matrix was generated before buckling. So URN 300 is not proper to use at the condition under high external pressue.

전산유체역학을 이용한 셸 구조의 형상에 따른 풍압 평가 (The Evaluation of Wind-induced Pressure for the Shell Structures using Computational Fluid Dynamics)

  • The importance and the interest of wind load have emphasized since the damage of the Jeju World cup Stadium and Main Stadium of Busan Asiad in 2002, and the appearance of high-rise buildings. In general, a evaluation for the wind load acting on structures have been carried out mainly through the wind tunnel test, but this technique has the huge shortcomings that consume too much cost and experimental time. However, with the rapid advances on computers, it is possible to analyze the wind pressure distribution acting on structures by numerical scheme. In this paper, to predict the wind pressure distribution acting on shell structures having the various shape by numerical simulation, governing equations of fluid flow and turbulent model is formulated. Also, evaluates the wind pressure coefficient in accordance with the structural shape for shell structures like as a membrane structures and dome structures.

영향계수의 전달에 의한 2중 원통형 셸의 자유진동해석 (Free Vibration Analysis of Double Cylindrical Shells Using Transfer of Influence Coefficent)

  • The transfer influence coefficient method which is an vibration analysis algorithm based on the transfer of influence coefficient is applied to the free vibration analysis of double cylindrical shells. After the computational programs for the free vibration analysis of double cylindrical shells were made using the transfer influence coefficient method and the transfer matrix method, we compared the results using the transfer influence coefficient method with those by the transfer matrix method. The transfer influence coefficient method provided the good computational results in the free vibration analysis of double cylindrical shells. In particular, The results of the transfer influence coefficient method are superior to those of the transfer matrix method when the stiffness of internal springs connecting a inside cylindrical shell and a outside cylindrical shell is very large.

  • The general approach using sine series expansions was represented to evaluate the radiation loading from a vibrating surface on a simply supported cylinder. In this paper, the fluid-loading coefficients (radiation impedance) for a submerged finite cylindrical shell with an arbitrary end condition are defined and evaluated. The vibrations of cylindrical shell are expressed by using cosine series expansions to analyze the radiation impedance for a finite cylindrical shell. It is possible to represent the displacements at both ends of cylindrical shell in comparison with sine series. The direct and cross modal components of fluid-loading coefficients are shown and the validity of cosine series expansions are verified from the results of numerical computations. This approach and results are directly applicable in the analysis of sound radiation from subemerged finite cylindrical shell with arbitrary end conditions.

복합재 적층셸의 비선형 수치해석 및 실험 (Nonlinear Numerical Analysis and Experiment of Composite Laminated Shell)

  • A finite element program using degenerated shell element was developed to solve the geometric, material and combined nonlinear behaviors of composite laminated shell. The total Lagrangian method was implemented for geometric nonlinear analysis. The material nonlinear behavior was analyzed by considering the matrix degradation due to the progressive failure in the matrix and matrix-fiber interface after initial failure. The result of the geometric nonlinear analysis showed good agreement with the other exact and numerical solutions. The results of the combined analyses considered both geometric and material nonlinear analyses were compared with the experiments in which internal pressure was applied to the filament wound antisymmetric tubes.

축대칭 하중을 받는 원통형 셸의 동적응답 해석 (Dynamic Response Analysis of Cylindrical Shell with Axisymmetric Loading)

  • It is very important to analyze the dynamic responses of the shell structures from the viewpoint of the design of shell structures with a variety of axisymmetric loadings. In this paper, the computational algorithm for the dynamic response analysis of an cylindrical shell with axisymmetric loading is formulated by the transfer mass coefficient method based on the transfer of mass coefficient. After the computational programs for obtaining the dynamic responses of cylindrical shells with axisymmetric loading are made by the transfer mass coefficient method and the finite element method, the computational results by both methods are compared. From the computational results, we can confirm that the transfer mass coefficient method has the effectiveness in the dynamic response analyses of cylindrical shells with a variety of axisymmetric loadings.

열탄성 진동감쇠에 관한 해석적 연구 (Analytical Estimation of Thermoelastic Damping)

  • 다음 세대의 우주 비행선(spacecraft) 및 우주 구조물 등은 매우 정밀한 수행 능력은 물론 발사 경비의 절감을 위해 자체 무게를 최대한 줄일 수 있는 설계 방안을 요구하고 있다. 이같은 중 요한 요구 조건들을 만족시킬 수 있는 진동 제어의 한 방법으로써 재료 고유진동감쇠(material damping)의 효과적인 응용이 매우 중요시 되고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 열기류(Thermal currents)에 의해 발생하는 열탄성 진동감쇠(thermoelastic damping)를 연관 열탄성학(coupled thermoelasticity)에 근거하여 해석적으로 추정하고 진동감쇠율에 구조적, 기하학적 형태가 미치는 영향에 관해 고찰하였다. 단일 구조물의 형태, 경계조건 및 진동모우드 등이 진동감쇠에 미치는 영향을 새로운 계수로서 공식화 하였으며 아울러 최대 진동 감쇠율을 얻을 수 있는 최적조건을 고찰하였다.
