Recent years have witnessed various attempts of firms to acquire new knowledge. Purchasing intellectual property or merger and acquisition (M&A) can be such attempts, but joint venture can also be an effective way internalizing new complementary assets from external partners. However, due to difficulties in the formation and implementation of learning strategies, many joint ventures have failed to acquire necessary knowledge. In this respect, based on contingency theory and dynamic capability, the current research aims to investigate the failure case of knowledge transfer in an international joint venture - KEFICO established by Hyundai motors and BOSCH. Case firm optimized for hardware technology but did not establish a differentiated learning strategy and organizational structure to acquire software skills, which are intellectuals of different natures. Due to this inconsistency, it was not able for KEFICO to absorb new type of knowledge (skills related to engine control system). This study suggests the theoretical framework illustrating the case and provides some important implications for organizational learning.

본 연구에서는 Duncan과 Johnson의 사각 벌지에 관한 이론식을 재료의 성질 및 파괴 특성을 결정하는데 유용한 방법인 타원벌지에 응용하여 고찰 검토하였다. 또 실험에는 각 점에서 변형도를 광격자법(photo grid method)에 의해서 측정했다. 그리고 극점의 곡률반경을 모아레 측정법으로 타원벌지에 처음 적용하여 구해서 이를 이론치와 서로 비교 함으로서 실험적인 측정법의 유용성을 밝혔다.

The purpose of this paper is to conduct an experimental measurement and analysis of cities' morphology. Fractal theory that is an effective tool for evaluating self-similarity and complexity of objects was applied. For the comparative analysis of fractailities and computational verification, two totally different cities in Japan were selected. They are Kitakyushu City, which is a big and fully developed city, and Jinguu Machi of which almost all the area is covered with agricultural land use. After converting vector data to raster data within GIS, fractal dimensions of two cases in Kitakyushu City and one case in Jinguu Machi were calculated. The calculation showed that two parts of Kitakyushu City were already fractal. Jinguu Machi, however, was difficult to find fractality. As a conclusion, fractal was proved to be an useful tool to estimate the shape of cities reflecting their internal spatial structure, that is self-similarity and complexity.

Mathematical creativity is essential in school mathematics and mathematics curriculum and ensures the growth of mathematical ability. Therefore mathematics educators try to develop students' creativity via mathematics education for a long time. In special, 2011 revised mathematics curriculum emphasizes mathematical creativity. Yet, it may seem like a vague characterization of mathematical creativity. Furthermore, it is needed to develop the methods for developing the mathematical creativity. So, the goal of this paper is to search for teaching and learning models for developing the mathematical creativity. For this, I discuss about issues of mathematical creativity and extract the factors of mathematical creativity. The factors of mathematical creativity are divided into cognitive factors, affective factors and attitude factors that become the factors of development of mathematical creativity in the mathematical instruction. And I develop 8-teaching and learning models for development of mathematical creativity based on the characters of mathematics and the most recent theories of mathematics education. These models make it crucial for students to develop the mathematical creativity and create the new mathematics in the future.

The purpose of this study was to verify the physical activity planning behavior theory model of rehabilitation center users. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted for sports athletes who visited the sports rehabilitation hospital and rehabilitation center in the metropolitan area. A total of 203 questionnaires were used for the actual analysis. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. In this way, we confirmed that intention has a significant direct effect on the behavior in the application of the physical activity planning theoretical model based on the social cognitive theory of rehabilitation center participants.

Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO hereafter) can be described as firm level entrepreneurial tendencies. Initially Miller(1983) clarifies the construct of EO, and defines an "entrepreneurial firm as one that engages in product marketing innovation, undertakes somewhat risky ventures, and is first to come up with proactive innovations, beating competitors to the punch". After Miller (1983), Covin & Slevin(1989) adopted EO as a uni-dimensional construct, and insisted that these three dimensions can be combined into a single scale. Since Covin & Slevin(1991), researchers including Lumpkin & Dess(1996) have explored the usefulness of EO. However not many attempts have been tried to summarize the results of previous empirical researches, and to suggest future research directions. To examine and find implications, current study classified the effects of EO as 1) main and mediating effects, 2) moderating effect, 3) other effects, and provide theoretical and empirical validation of EO, which suggested by Miller(2011). After analyzing research results published in major international and Korean journals in each research domain, current paper summarizes and evaluates previous research results, and then suggests research directions for the future. In doing so, we hope to provide some theoretical and practical insight for management of small and medium sized firms.

The theory on phase change temperature control and nucleation of PCM was suggested in this research. The crystallization model of PCM was established. And H2O-NaCl mixtures were selected as cold storage materials for agricultural products and thermo-physical properies of the PCM were analyzed with experimental processes including freeze-thaw cycles.

Individual characteristics and entrepreneurship are important factors to determine entrepreneurial intentions. Despite this, little attention has been given to external factors, which effects to venture start-up decision. This study examines the relationship between individual characteristics and entrepreneurship by moderating effect of Hofstede's cultures dimensions theory. For this, 244 copies of the questionnaire were empirically analyzed. According to the results of analysis, internal locus of control, self-efficacy were found to have positive effects on autonomy, innovativeness, pro-activeness. In addition, uncertainty avoidance of Hofstede's cultures dimensions theory were found the moderating effects on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intentions. Therefore, this study suggests theoretical and practical implications, as below, according to the results. Firstly, pro-activeness take a important part on venture start-up. Thus, venture start-up institution and venture managers need to develop "venture education curriculum" that fostering the pro-activeness mind of entrepreneur. Secondly, In order to anticipate entrepreneurial intentions more precisely, analyzing the interaction between environmental variables and individual variables is desirable. Lastly, in the future study of entrepreneurship, the comprehensive analysis of correlation between the factors that including three factors of entrepreneurship is need to be conducted and more effective way of readdressing the entrepreneurship is necessary.

Afrofuturism was born under the combination of the elements of African culture, sci-fi novels, history, afrocentrism and Magic Realism. The aim of this study is to sort out the concepts and characteristics of Afrofuturism basing on the artistic elements appearing in Black Panther. The method is to investigate the academic papers, periodicals, singles and the Internet research related to African culture, Afrofuturism and American superheroes first. And then make the analyzation of the design of uniforms of the major characters in the movie as cases. The result is : First, the resistance of art for social minorities, second, the establishment of identity of black art through the reactionary effect of culture, and third, the artistic healing through SF fantasy.

The influence of different appendage shape on the characteristics of hydrodynamic forces on Manta-type Unmanned Undersea Test Vehicle(MUUTV) was discussed experimentally. Fuselage only MUUTV model and two types of MUUTV model with different appendage geometries were considered as the subject of discussion Oblique tow experiment was carried out in circulating water channel with three MUUTV models. A point of difference in hydrodynamic force characteristics among three models was indicated. Furthermore, the linear hydrodynamic derivatives obtained from model experiment were compared with theoretical calculation results from slender body theory, added mass theory and etc. Based on the hydrodynamic force characteristics, motion stability of two types of MUUTV model with different appendage geometries was compared each other. Through the above analysis, the more suitable shape of appendage geometry was made clear.
