The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship among the self-directed learning ability, academic self-efficacy and academic achievement of elementary school students. The subjects of this study were 197 sixth graders. The results of this study were as follows. First, the correlations among self-directed learning ability, academic self-efficacy and academic achievement were significant. Second, among the variables of self-directed learning ability and academic self-efficacy, self-confidence, preference for task difficulty, self-understanding of learner and independent mind of learning were positively related to academic achievement. These results imply the need for measures to increase these variables of academic efficacy and self-directed learning ability in the field of education in order to improve students' academic achievement.

본 연구의 목적은 문제중심 수업과 설명식 수업이 학생들의 학업 성취에 미치는 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과는 첫째, 문제중심 수업과 설명식 수업은 계산 문제의 학업 성취도에 있어서 유의미한 차이가 없었으며, 둘째, 문제중심 수업과 설명식 수업은 적용 문제의 학업 성취도에 있어서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여, 문제중심 수업은 계산력을 향상시킬 수는 없었지만, 교사에 의한 통상적인 지도 없이도 계산력은 유지될 수 있음을 보여주었다. 또한, 문제중심 수업은 설명식 수업보다 문제 해결력을 향상시킬 수 있는 교수법임을 시사한다.

본 연구의 목적은 온라인 학습자들의 학습효과를 높힐 수 있는 교수 학습환경을 마련하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위함이다. 본 연구에서는 온라인 학습자들의 학습성취와 학습만족에 미치는 학습자 개인요인- 건강, 가족지원 정도, 컴퓨터 능력, 취업여부, 자기조절학습능력- 에 초점을 두어 분석하였다. 본 연구는 서울사이버대학교 사회복지학부 재학생을 대상으로 수집된 총 226개 설문지를 회귀분석방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 학습성취에는 학습자 개인의 건강, 자기조절학습능력이 유의미한 영향을 보였고, 학습만족에는 가족들의 지원 정도와 자기조절학습능력이 영향을 나타냈다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the academic achievement characteristics in terms of proficiency levels through the in-depth analysis of mathematics test items and achievement standards of the National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA) from 2010 to 2012, and to provide suggestions for teaching and assessing mathematics in middle schools. The results showed that 'Advanced level' students could fully understand the concept of mathematical terms and symbols as well as various mathematical properties presented in the national curriculum. However, 'Proficient level' students tended to feel difficult to apply linear function, properties of a plane figure, and a solid figure, while 'Basic level' students seemed to have trouble solving mathematical problems in almost all areas. Thus, it is necessary to identify the mathematical misconceptions that students have and to strengthen teaching, particularly, the areas of number and operation.

This study was to explore the causal relationship among teacher efficacy, teachers' approaches to instruction, and students' achievement goal orientation. Among the 278 6th grade students (average age: 12 years) who completed a self-report questionnaire during the second term, 230 (102 boys, 128 girls) returned the completed questionnaire (overall response rate : 82.7%). Measures of teacher efficacy, teachers' approaches to instruction, and students' achievement goal orientation were based on students' perceptions. Structural equation modeling tested relationships among the variables. Findings were that teacher efficacy influenced both students' achievement goal orientation and teachers' approaches to instruction. Teacher efficacy positively influenced teachers' mastery approach to instruction and students' mastery and performance approach goal orientations, whereas teacher efficacy negatively influenced teachers' performance approach to instruction.

The purpose of this study is examine the relation with the academic motivation variable, cognitive style and the academic achievement, and guide to strategies of Mobile game learning development. Based on cognitive theory, the academic motivation variable has more related with academic achievement. As a result, internal motivation variables has highly positive correlation on academic self efficacy.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of STS program in Earth Science instruction on science-related attitude and scientific achievement of high school students. The students were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was taught by the STS program and the control group was taught by the conventional lecture. The science-related attitudes have been improved in the experimental group more positively than in the control group. The experimental group showed a higher improvement in scientific achievements than the control group.

The object of this study is to improve the police administration service and the work performance of police officers, through the analytic ground to increase job satisfaction and to solve the role conflict by setting the role conflict as a main factor among many factors to influence the job satisfaction between the role conflict and the job satisfaction of police officers and explaining the factors of the role conflict.

This study compares and analyzes the mathematics assessment items of the middle school's national-level academic achievement tests in Korea and Japan, recently revised as a competency-focused curriculum. By comparing and analyzing the assessment items in each country, the analytic framework is integrated into content areas, contexts, and competencies. The characteristics of each country's assessment items developed for each content area were analyzed using the framework. We suggested some implications on developing and improving national-level academic assessment items.

The purpose of this study has been found to be effective using ICT teaching-learning than traditional teaching-learning method on academic achievement applying the meta-analysis method. This study set the following questions to be answered. 1. The 85% subject of analysis of ICT-using teaching-learning selected in this study turned out to be clear effective than traditional teaching-learning method in academic achievement of students. 2. ICT-using teaching-learning is more effective for academic achievement of elementary school students and university students than for middle school students and high school students relatively. 3. ICT-using teaching-learning is a most effective method in subject of art and physical education and social subject but less effective in mathematics subject.
