The Development and Application of Performance Evaluation Framework of National R&D Programs (지역연구개발사업의 성과평가 방법론 개발과 적용)

  • This article aims to explore the performance evaluation framework for assessing the contribution of national research and development(R&D) program to productivity growth. The key idea starts with the development of methodology for evaluating the returns to R&D. The method of this study is based on the comparison of productivity growth between different periods, not cross-sectional approach with one period. In this context, backward effect and forward effect are operationally defined as a measurement for contributions of R&D in this paper. The analysis results gives that the backward effect of R&D is greater than the forward effect, while the difference was especially evident with the case of sales variable, not operating profit variable.

Mediating Effect of Job Satisfaction in the Relationship Between Caregivers' Calling and Organizational Performance (요양보호사의 소명의식과 조직성과의 관계에서 직무만족의 매개효과)

  • Recently, interest in organizational performance has been increasing due to marketization and diversification of supplier introduced in long-term care system. To analyze the effects of caregivers' calling on the organizational performance of long-term care facilities and to examine the mediating effects of job satisfaction on the path, data were collected from caregivers in Seoul and Kyonggi-do. Multiple regression analysis was used to examine the effect of caregivers' calling on job satisfaction and job performance, and the mediating effect of job analysis was tested by hierarchical regression analysis. As a result, caregivers' calling had a positive effect on job performance and job satisfaction, and the job satisfaction showed full mediation effect between caregivers' calling and effectiveness and partial mediation effect between caregivers' calling and efficiency. Based on this, we discussed the need to improve efficiency through job satisfaction management and to manage efficiency by managing job satisfaction and vocation awareness.

The Relationship among Deans' Distributed Leadership, the Professor's Organizational Commitment, the Job Satisfaction and Organizational Effectiveness in Chinese Universities (중국 대학교 학장의 분산적 지도성, 조직헌신, 직무만족, 조직효과성의 구조관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the structural relationship between the dean's distributed leadership, the professor's organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness perceived by Chinese university professors, and the mediating effect of organizational commitment and job satisfaction. For the experiment, a survey was conducted on 383 professors at three universities in Hebei, China. The results of this study are as follows. First, Deans' distributed leadership had a positive effect on organizational effectiveness, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction of professors. Second, Dean's distributed leadership showed a significant direct effects on organizational effectiveness. Third, organizational commitment and job satisfaction has a mediating effect in the relationship between distributed leadership and organizational effectiveness. Therefore, in order to increase the organizational effectiveness of Chinese universities, it is necessary to activate deans' distributed leadership and to improve the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of professors.

  • 청계천 복원의 효과가 하천의 형상, 종 조성, 종 다양성 변화의 유연성 및 환경 개선 효과 측면에서 검토되었다. 복원된 청계천은 하천의 종단 및 횡단 형상에서 모두 낮은 자연성을 나타내었다. 종 조성은 부분적으로 자연하천과 유사한 조성을 보였으나 전반적으로 낮은 자연성을 보였다. 종 다양성은 비교적 낮았지만 복원의 역사를 고려할 때 양호한 것으로 평가되었다. 하류와 수변에서는 홍수 후 많은 변화를 가져와 자연으로 회귀할 가능성도 보였지만 상류와 홍수터 이상에서는 변화의 유연성이 낮아 자연으로 회귀하는데 많은 시간이 소요될 것으로 평가되었다. 인공위성 영상 분석 결과, 복원된 청계천은 기온 완화 효과를 나타내었다. 그 밖에 복원된 청계천은 그 주변의 분산된 녹지를 연결하여 그린네트워크를 구축하고자 할 때 핵심적 역할을 할 것으로 기대되어 경관생태적 측면에서의 환경개선효과도 기대되었다.

인터넷광고에 대한 태도와 효과성에 있어 라이프스타일의 조절효과에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 (1) 인터넷환경하에서 인터넷광고에 대한 태도와 인터넷광고의 효과성 간의 효과를 검증하고, (2) 인터넷광고에 대한 태도와 인터넷광고의 효과성간의 관계에 대 한 인터넷사용자의 라이프스타일의 조절효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 광고에 대한 태도연구와 효과성에 관한 선행연구를 통해 두 번수간외 관계성올 알아보았으며, 이는 인터넷 환경하에서도 적용되는지를 알아보기 위한 가설을 설정하였다. 실증분석을 통한 결과는 인터넷광고에 대한 태도는 권유의도, 고려의도, 재방문의도, 구 매의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 인터넷시장에서 인터넷광고에 대한 태 도와 인터넷광고의 효과성은 전통적인 시장에서와 같이 동일하게 작용되었다. 두 번째로 인터넷사용자들의 라이프스타일에 따라 차이가 있을 것이라는 연구가설을 여섯 개의 유형 으로 나누어 연구한 결과 인터넷광고에 대한 태도와 구매의도간에는 인터넷사용자들의 라 이프스타일 유형에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

An analysis of economic effect for the investment on aircraft development (생산유발 및 생산성 제고 효과를 통한 항공기 개발 투자의 파급효과 분석)

  • The article analyses economic effect of medium size aircraft development project. It is based on the measurement of induced production and increased productivity by the investment on the development project. The analysis shows around 5.2 trillion KRW induced production and 65 billion KRW productivity are expected, if 1.4 trillion KRW is invested as planned. The economic effects with the same size of investment across different manufacturing industries - shipbuilding, auto, general machinery and emiconductor - are also measured for comparison. The result reports ircraft anufacturing is positioned as middle in terms of induced production nd productivity nhancement. he results in this article support the investment, which has economic asibility as well as strategic and military importance as argued.

Automatic Evaluation Effect of Gender Preference Words : Focused on the Congruency Effect and Positivity Priming Effect (성별 특성 단어의 자동적 평가효과 : 일치성 효과와 긍정성 우위 효과를 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to explore whether an automatic evaluation effect (i.e.,congruency effect and positive priming effect) of emotional properties which have been found in the racial prejudice study can be applied to the gender properties. Experiment 1 employing a short SOA (150ms-250ms) naming task showed a priming effect was larger in the positive prime-positive target condition than negative prime-negative target condition but not congruent effect. Experiment 2 employing a long SOA (500ms-1000ms) naming task didn't yield either positive priming effect or congruency effect. The congruency effect and the positive priming effect which is ubiquitous phenomenon in the generic cognitive concepts network were not found in the gender properties. Therefore, it was suggested that the social information including prejudice or stereotype can be differently processed according to the value of emotionality.

Heterogeneity in the Effects of FDI on Firms' Productivity in South Korea: A Quantile Regression Approach (외국인투자가 국내기업의 생산성에 미친 효과: 분위회귀 접근법)

  • This study analyzes how heterogeneous across firms' productivity level the effects of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the productivity of firms in a host country are. The study uses firm level data over 2000~2009 in South Korea and takes a quantile regression approach to estimate FDI's heterogeneous effects on the invested firm ('direct effects') and other domestic firms in the industry to which the invested firm belongs ('intra-industry spillover effects'). Major empirical results are as follows. In manufacturing sector, FDI has positive and statistically significant direct effects on the invested firm. In addition, the higher the quantiles of firms' productivity level are, the larger the positive productivity effects are. FDI also has positive and statistically significant intra-industry spillover effects on domestic firms in low quantiles of productivity while it has negative and statistically significant or insignificant spillover effects on those in high productivity quantiles. In service sector, on the other hand, Sufficient evidence is not found that FDI has statistically significant direct effects or intra-industry spillover effects. Taken together, the study suggests that FDI has heterogeneous effects on the productivity of firms in host country, depending on the firms' productivity level and sector.

Stochastic Volatility Models Using Bayesian Estimation for the Leverage Effect of Dry-bulk Freight Rate (건화물선 운임의 레버리지 효과 대한 확률 변동성 모형을 활용한 베이지안 추정)

  • In this study, from January 2015 to April 2020, we propose a stochastic volatility model to capture the leverage effect on daily freight yields in the dry cargo market and analyze the freight yields. Estimation involving the Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo method for the leverage effect based on the negative correlation that exists between returns and volatility in stochastic volatility analysis yields similar estimates, and the statistcs indicates significant. That is, the results of the empirical analysis show that the degree of correlation between returns and volatility, and the magnitude and sign of fluctuations differ, which suggests that taking into account the leverage effect in the SV model improves the goodness of fit of the estimates. In addition to the statistical significance of the estimated model's leverage effect, the analysis by log predictive power score presents the estimated results with improved predictive power of the model considering the leveraged effect. These astatistically significant empirical results show that the stochastic volatility model considering the leverage effect is important for freight rate risk modeling in the marine industry.
