The Empirical Study of Relationship between the obsolescence assets and Asymmetric Cost Behavior (자산 노후화율이 원가의 비대칭성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzes the effects of the obsolescence assets on the asymmetry of costs. Cost asymmetry refers to a lower percentage of costs when sales fall than increases in costs when sales increase. the obsolescence asset induces various decisions, including high maintenance costs and management improvements and replacement of facilities. This study is to analyze the cost behavior according to those decisions. The analysis showed that the higher the obsolescence of assets rate, we found cost elasticity, with a greater reduction in costs when sales decrease than the increase in costs when sales increase. Second, the lower the cost will not appear as the obsolescence of assets rate increases in case that the concentration of an item of property, plant and equipment is high, and when sales decrease. The above result means that the obsolescence of assets rate acts as operating risk and thus operates resources flexibly according to changes in sales, but when the concentration of property, plant and equipment is high, the decision-making constraint make it difficult for the flexible operation.

  • This paper analysed the characteristic of Power consumption at many type of Inverter controlled Elevator. Especially, this paper proposed the standard value of full load currents. For this propose, it was classified by the passenger capacity and manufacture company. As a result, it is found that (i) the value is between -3[A] and 7[A] in case of elevator. That means the full load currents was smaller than the standard value of conventional operation type (ii) the value is between 0.5[kVA] and 3[kVA] in case of Power transformer. That means the transformer capacity was smaller than the standard value of conventional operation type. it was classified by the passenger capacity at inverter controlled elevator in apartment Also, to guarantee the operation stop of inverter controlled elevator, this paper proposed the redundancy method of electrical installations. the redundancy method is (i) 2 line service system and (ii) 2 distribution line system.

  • As the contribution of the Energy Storage System (ESS) on the power system operations has increased, it is required to secure the reliability on the capacity of ESS and this needs to consider the outage rate in calculating the available capacity of ESS. However, the existing method of calculating the outage rate does not consider the configuration of ESS and this does not accurately calculate the available capacity of ESS. For this, this paper analyzes the structural characteristics of ESS in Korean power system and proposes a method to calculate the outage rate of ESS. Through the study cases adopting the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) ESS for providing the frequency response service, the effectiveness of the proposed method verified.

A Study on the Power Generation Compared to the Capacity of Power Generation Facilities by Energy Sources in Summer Season (하절기의 에너지원별 발전설비용량 대비 발전량에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, we compared the operational rates of natural gas, coal, nuclear power and renewable energy based on the data of power generation and power generation facilities produced in summer season(from June to August) during the last four years(2015~2018). Nuclear power and coal power, which are responsible for basic power generation, were guaranteed to be economical as the actual generation capacity remained 60% higher than the cost of power generation. On the other hand, natural gas generation and new renewable energy generation have a very low actual operation rate of 29.5% and 27.3% compared to investments in power generation facilities, making it difficult to lower the cost of power generation. However, coal generation has structural problems in terms of greenhouse gas, fine dust. On the other hand, natural gas generation is relatively low and even though it is safe, it is difficult to secure economic feasibility as it is bound by a peak power system. Therefore, it is only possible to achieve balanced development of energy sources when there is a change in the development policy.

  • 신재생에너지 발전기는 출력가변성이 크기 때문에 장기 전력수급계획 수립시 발전용량을 얼마로 할 것인가에 대한 불확실성을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 확률론적 신뢰도 기법에 기반하여 신재생 발전기가 공급신뢰도에 기여하는 용량산정 방법을 제안하고 우리나라 전력수급기본계획에 적용하는 방안을 살펴보았다. 국내 발전설비계획 수립에 사용하는 공급지장확률(LOLP)을 이용하여 신재생 발전기의 공급 신뢰도 기여용량을 산정하고 그 결과를 현재까지 사용해 온 신재생발전기 이용률에 기반한 기여용량 산정결과와 비교하였다. 특히 신재생발전원 중 우리나라에서 많은 부분을 차지하는 풍력 및 태양광에 대하여 용량가치를 산정하였다. 확률적 신뢰도기반 용량가치 산정법은 제5차 전력 수급기본계획 수립시 적용된 바 있으며, 좀 더 정밀한 산정절차를 수립하여 수급계획에 적용할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 수급계획 수립에 신재생 발전원의 정확한 용량가치를 산정하는 방식을 선정하는 데 참고자료로 활용될 수 있다.

Optimization Process Models of Gas Combined Cycle CHP Using Renewable Energy Hybrid System in Industrial Complex (산업단지 내 CHP Hybrid System 최적화 모델에 관한 연구)

  • The study attempted to estimate the optimal facility capacity by combining renewable energy sources that can be connected with gas CHP in industrial complexes. In particular, we reviewed industrial complexes subject to energy use plan from 2013 to 2016. Although the regional designation was excluded, Sejong industrial complex, which has a fuel usage of 38 thousand TOE annually and a high heat density of $92.6Gcal/km^2{\cdot}h$, was selected for research. And we analyzed the optimal operation model of CHP Hybrid System linking fuel cell and photovoltaic power generation using HOMER Pro, a renewable energy hybrid system economic analysis program. In addition, in order to improve the reliability of the research by analyzing not only the heat demand but also the heat demand patterns for the dominant sectors in the thermal energy, the main supply energy source of CHP, the economic benefits were added to compare the relative benefits. As a result, the total indirect heat demand of Sejong industrial complex under construction was 378,282 Gcal per year, of which paper industry accounted for 77.7%, which is 293,754 Gcal per year. For the entire industrial complex indirect heat demand, a single CHP has an optimal capacity of 30,000 kW. In this case, CHP shares 275,707 Gcal and 72.8% of heat production, while peak load boiler PLB shares 103,240 Gcal and 27.2%. In the CHP, fuel cell, and photovoltaic combinations, the optimum capacity is 30,000 kW, 5,000 kW, and 1,980 kW, respectively. At this time, CHP shared 275,940 Gcal, 72.8%, fuel cell 12,390 Gcal, 3.3%, and PLB 90,620 Gcal, 23.9%. The CHP capacity was not reduced because an uneconomical alternative was found that required excessive operation of the PLB for insufficient heat production resulting from the CHP capacity reduction. On the other hand, in terms of indirect heat demand for the paper industry, which is the dominant industry, the optimal capacity of CHP, fuel cell, and photovoltaic combination is 25,000 kW, 5,000 kW, and 2,000 kW. The heat production was analyzed to be CHP 225,053 Gcal, 76.5%, fuel cell 11,215 Gcal, 3.8%, PLB 58,012 Gcal, 19.7%. However, the economic analysis results of the current electricity market and gas market confirm that the return on investment is impossible. However, we confirmed that the CHP Hybrid System, which combines CHP, fuel cell, and solar power, can improve management conditions of about KRW 9.3 billion annually for a single CHP system.

신형안전로 소개

  • 신형안전로 개발의 필요성을 설비개발이라는 관점에서 우리가 해결해야 할 과제로 요약하면 첫 째는 설계개념이다. 즉 어떠한 설계개념을 채택하여야만 설비의 단순화가 가능하며 중소형이 면서도 경제성 확보가 가능할 것인가 하는 점이며, 둘째는 이러한 새로운 개념은 과연 원전의 안전성이 혁신적으로 개선된 것이며, 어디에나 용이하게 건설이 가능토록 부지요건이 완화된 것이며, 전문가가 아닌 사람도 용이하게 운전가능토록 준 무인운전 수준의 편의성 확보가 가능 한가 하는 점이다. 셋째는 극히 소용량인 지역난방 원자로에서부터 대용량 발전 설비에 이르 기까지의 연계 개발 계획으로서 수요처별 수요 적응 특성 반영과 Modular Type 또는 기타의 방법으로 용이하게 용량을 확장할 수 있는 방법을 강구하는 문제이다.

발전 설비에서의 윤활 기술의 응용

  • 발전 설비는 다양한 부품으로 구성되어 있으며, 많은 부분이 회전력에 의해 운전된다. 대표적인 터빈, 발전기, 펌프, 송풍기 등이 있다. 모든 회전체에는 그것을 지지하면서 마찰을 줄여 회전을 원할하게 하기 위하여 베어링을 사용한다. 베어링은 회전체의 마찰에 의한 동력 손실을 줄일 뿐 아니라 회전체의 동특성에도 영향을 준다. 또한 회전체 운전중 문제점의 원인 중 많은 경우가 베어링에 기인하므로 회전체 제작시 베어링이 적절히 선정되고 설계되어야 한다. 발전 설비에 설치되는 베어링 중 가장 큰 부분을 차지하는 것이 터빈-발전기용 베어링이다. 터빈-발전기용 베어링은 마찰에 의한 동력 손실이 발전소 용량의 약 0.5%를 차지하며, 터빈-발전기 축계의 동 특성을 고려한 설계에서 중요한 요소로도 작용한다. 여기서는 발전소의 터빈-발전기용 베어링에 대해서 언급하고자 한다.

  • 계단파 5전위 PWM 출력전압은 CTI회로를 구성하는 스위칭 소자의 구동신호에 의하여 이루어진다. 이 CTI회로를 구동시키기 위한 구동신호는 Natural Sampling 방식의 변조신호를 10-6 범위인 변환 오차로 디지틀 변환하고, 이 신호의 데이터에 의한 마이크로프로세서 운전 시스템을 구성하였다. 이 방식에 의하면, CTI회로의 V/F제어를 위한 1[Hz]~60[Hz]의 시스템에 소요되는 메모리의 용량은 어드레스 카운터방식에 비하여 0.8%이었다.
