  • People are experiencing severe problems in temporal navigation as time-based contents and platforms become more popular Relatively limited research, however, has been conducted on temporal navigation compared to that on spatial navigation. This research aims to identify efficient temporal navigation aids for time-based contents. It proposes Time Navigator, a new temporal navigation system based on the episodic indexing theory, and evaluates its efficiency through two experiments with a computer-based simulator for digital TV The video contents of digital TV was focused on because it is one of the most representative time-based contents and platforms. Our results indicate that Time Navigator helps people navigate time -based contents more effectively. Its effects increase as the contents include more narratives.

  • Aniline was polymerized in various protonic acid (HF, HC1, HBr, HI, $H_2SO_4$) aqueous solutions with different acidity. During the reaction, the dimer formation and the reaction rate were examined as functions of acidity (pH) and the size of counter ions. Open-circuit potential measurements were carried out to investigate the effect of protonic acid on the reaction rate. The results showed that polymerization rate in HF aqueous solution was very slow and polymerization did not occur in HI aqueous solution. These results were explained in terms of acidity and power of oxidation. The ratio of formation of dimers varied with the kind of protonic acid, and the results were explained with the nucleophilicity, solvation effect, and mobility of counter ions.

  • This research was conducted over one month from May 1st to May 30th, 2015. Data were collected after confirming purpose of current study with eating house manager from the restaurant consumers. This study investigated the impact of nostalgia tendency on the propensity to revisit the eating house. Nostalgia impact on the propensity of the perceived emotional food repurchase also had the effect of significantly positive (+) on the road to repurchase B=0.767(p<.001). The coefficient of determination for measuring the adequacy of the model to determine the coefficient that measures the suitability of the model was explaining 58.9% of the variation in the premises 0.589, models with F=431.234(p<.001) to verify the significance of the model is significantly It has been described. Second, nostalgia tendency and social tendencies of the bond part had a strong impact in moderating effects of (-). The lower the social bond was investigated by increasing the propensity nostalgia.

  • Studies on Appreciative Leadership have recently started in Korea as well. A leader in Appreciative Leadership is defined as a person who can effectively handle a mixture of various styles of leadership and suggest advice and future directions (Withney and Trosten-Bloom, 2010). Also, Appreciative Leadership can be explained as one way of appreciative leadership behavior which enables constructive accomplishment of mutually creative tasks for future through growth based on individuals' strengths, as well as a shared value system with organizational goals for all (Withney and Trosten-Bloom, 2010). Appreciative Leadership leads members of an organization toward positive inquiries and open discussions so that they become fully engaged in the organization while Appreciative Leader motivates and inspires his/her members and enables them to feel that they are of value to the organization. Study results show that Inspiration among sub factors of Appreciative Leadership has a positive impact on employees' engagement in the organization and their tasks while Inquiry positively influences in employees' organizational engagement.

  • The purpose of this research was to investigate the change of argumentation of middle school students when they participated in argument tasks with CASE(Cognitive acceleration through science education) programs. Students argumentations were divided into two categories; 'explanatory argumentation' and 'dialogic argumentation'. Several argumentation components were used in their argumentation. Among argumentation components, claim and ground took place more than half of argumentation components. The percentage of 'dialogic argumentation' was lower than the percentage of 'explanatory argumentation'. The percentage of 'dialogic argumentation' was getting higher during CASE intervention. CASE programs had more effect on symmetric group than asymmetric group, however it was unstable. In general, participation ratio in argumentation of the formal operational student was high and the ratio in argumentation of the transitional student was getting higher.

  • In this study, the descriptions of salt solubility in the textbooks of secondary school and college were reviewed to figure out the reason of low understanding of elementary and secondary school students and teachers about the solubility of a salt in the presence of other ions. The ionic strength dependence of salt solubility was not introduced in the secondary school textbooks and general chemistry textbooks. It appeared in the physical chemistry textbooks as a direct or an indirect explanation. However, most of college senior students who had learned the physical chemistry could not relate the salt solubility with the ionic strength change. The factors might affect salt solubility, such as the ion pair formation and the activity coefficient change by ionic strength, were mentioned and an experimental result was also shown to resolve the questions that college students and teachers might have. Because these explanations are beyond the secondary school level, we need to develope an easier and better explanation suitable for the secondary school students.

  • IT industry has rapidly changed with unlimited competition. In this situation, this article is searching for methods to enhance work engagement(WE) which increases workers' and organizations' performance. Servant leadership(SL) involves organizational change, thus one dimension of SL named commitment to the growth of people(CGP) which focuses on people' development would play a decisive role in IT industry, since member's capacity makes a success of this field. Since CGP would influence on perceived organizational support(POS), workers would have positive attitude to work. Furthermore, expectancy has a critical role for CGP which is related to the future. In future oriented viewpoint, if a leader supported members' growth and they had positive expectancy for the future, they would have higher POS, then WE also will be increased. The purpose of this study is to explain the importance of CGV, expectancy and POS, since they enhance WE which is the key factor for success of IT organizations and members in today.

  • The ottonello method is used to see a front view image of cervical 1-7 number. The study found a systematic examination method to find a better image through an experiment using metronome. The results are as follows: In an evaluation of MTF, when used 0.5 standard of MTF, oral explanation resulted 1.2 LP/mm, Moderato-100 1.4 LP/mm, Allegro-138 1.6 LP/mm, Presto-184 2.4 LP/mm. Among them presto-184 showed the highest sharpness with 2.4 LP/mm. In an image reading by a medicine doctor of radiology, when oral explanation was 17%, Moderato-100 15%, Allegro-138 18%, Presto-184 50%. Among themprest-184 was evaluated as the best image. The result of was a method to reduce an image repeat, patients radiation exposure, patients waiting time for examination, material and so on.

  • We propose a 7-level atom model, which takes into account two-photon coherence effects in saturation absorption spectroscopy. Using this model we explained spectral change with laser intensity and some of crossover resonance lines, which cannot be explained with Nakayama theory. The 7-level model consists of two upper levels and five lower levels, which account for $\pi-\pi$ polarization of both pump and probe beams in Zeeman sub levels. We compared our 7-level model with 4-level Nakayama theory for 5S$_{1/2}$ - 5P$_{1/2}$ transition line in $^{85}$Rb atoms. The results of the 7-level model calculation agree well the saturation absorption spectra data according to laser intensities.

  • User activity log includes lots of hidden information, however it is not structured and too massive to process data, so there are lots of parts uncovered yet. Especially, it includes time series data. We can reveal lots of parts using it. But we cannot use log data directly to analyze users' behaviors. In order to analyze user activity model, it needs transformation process through extra framework. Due to these things, we need to figure out user activity model analysis framework first and access to data. In this paper, we suggest a novel framework model in order to analyze user activity model effectively. This model includes MapReduce process for analyzing massive data quickly in the distributed environment and data architecture design for analyzing user activity model. Also we explained data model in detail based on real online service log design. Through this process, we describe which analysis model is fit for specific data model. It raises understanding of processing massive log and designing analysis model.
