The Effect of Attributes of Selecting Korean Restaurants Pursuant to Food Service Consumption Propensity on Behavioral Intent (외식 소비성향에 따른 한식당 선택속성이 행동의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is aimed to identify the relationship between Korean restaurant selection attributes and behavioral intention regarding foodservice consumption tendency. In order to achieve the purpose of research, frequency analysis, factor and reliability analysis, correlation analysis, cluster analysis, chi-square test, variance analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 18.0. As a result of variance analysis, accessibility did not appear to have a significant difference in all clusters, food quality appeared to have a significant result (F=5.587, $p{\leq}.001$), employees' service appeared to have a significant difference (F=5.186, p<.01), and price discounts also showed a significant difference (F=4.921, p<.01). Therefore, the first hypothesis that the foodservice consumption tendency has a difference in the Korean restaurants selection attributes was partially selected. In order to verify the hypothesis that the Korean restaurants selection attributes affect behavioral intention, the sub-factors of the Korean restaurant selection attributes (accessibility of restaurants, food quality, employees' service, price discounts) were set as independent variables, and the behavioral intention of foodservice consumers was set as a dependent variable. As a result, the accessibility of restaurants (${\beta}=.092$) and price discounts (${\beta}=.299$) have a non-significant effect on behavioral intention. However, a significant result was shown in food quality (${\beta}=.379$, p<.001) and employees' service (${\beta}=.251$, p<.001). Thus, the hypothesis that the Korean restaurant selection attributes have a positive effect on behavioral intention was partially selected. Based on the results, foodservice managers need to build up strategic management to improve food quality with better ingredients, sanitation, adequate quantity, and consistent taste of food. In addition, they should provide better service with well-trained employees.

A Study on the Determinant Factors for Dining at Family Restaurant in Sunchon City (순천시의 훼밀리레스토랑을 이용하는 고객들의 외식결정요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify important selection attributes of customers for dining at family restaurants, and the determinant and predicting factors in customers' intentions of revisiting. A closed-ended questionnaire was used, and a systematic sampling approach was employed to survey a sample of customers in family restaurants. A total of 124 questionnaires were used for analysis among 300 distributed. Multivariate analysis(factor and regression analysis) was performed for 19 selection attributes measured on a five-point scale. A four-dimensional structure(harmonized decoration consistent service, valuable food, and attractive facility) was established from 19 selection attributes. The results of the study showed that three dimensions were significantly related with the customer's intention of revisiting. The dimension of consistent service had the greatest impact on customers' choice. It was clear that a family restaurant manager's emphasis on only one dimension to attract customers might not be as effective as applying a multi-dimensional strategy.

  • This study was intended to survey on the restaurant selection preferences by elderly consumers' values and lifestyle. The survey was residing in Seoul and men and women who were 55 years of age or older to achieve the purpose of this study, the theoretical and empirical research methods research methods were combined. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that select local specialty foods and to provide them as basic data for increasing the number of tourists through local specialty foods and revitalizing the local economy. I would like to present a marketing strategy. In particular, consumers who have used local specialty foods must come up with a marketing strategy that will maximize customer satisfaction, and it is necessary to revitalize the taste, quality, and best service of food.

  • Financial Assets have various characteristics, the benefits from which create demands for the financial assets. Based on the financial benefits, this article analyzes the influential factors on Korean households' financial portfolios. Provided that profitability and safety remain constant, it shows that individuals' most preferred characteristics have a significant impact on their selection of financial assets. Main demographic variables and financial status can also be considered to be influential factors according to the financial asset categories. Additionally, a further study on the substitution between financial assets would be helpful for developing new financial instruments.

  • The demand prediction is a critical issue for the film industry. As the social media, such as Twitter and Facebook, gains momentum of late, considerable efforts are being dedicated to prediction and analysis of hit movies based on unstructured text data. For prediction of trends found in commercially successful films, the correlations between the amount of data and hit movies may be analyzed by estimating the data variation by period while opinion mining that assigns sentiment polarity score to data may be employed. However, it is not possible to understand why the audience chooses a certain movie or which attribute of a movie is preferred by using such a quantitative approach. This has limited the efforts to identify factors driving a movie's commercial success. In this regard, this study aims to investigate a movie's attributes that reflect the interests of the audience. This would be done by extracting topic keywords that represent the contents of Twits through frequency measurement based on the collected Twitter data while analyzing responses displayed by the audience. The objective is to propose factors driving a movie's commercial success.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the operation status of home meal substitute according to the dietary lifestyle for 230 people living in Gwangju. After the survey, the research hypothesis was verified that the suitability of the confirmatory factor analysis measurement tool was high and the average variance extraction was more than 0.5. Although there has been some research on the relationship between the subjects, only a few subjects have been studied. In the future, if the study of the expansion of the number of people and the region will be used as data to support the national diet.

Study on the consumption practices and Importance-Satisfaction Analysis of meal-kit selection attributes among adults in their 20s and 30s (20-30대 성인의 밀키트 소비 실태와 밀키트 선택속성에 대한 중요도-만족도 분석)

  • Purpose: This study examined the meal-kit consumption practices of adults in their 20s and 30s and analyzed the properties that should be given priority for improvement among the selection attributes to improve the quality of meal-kits. Methods: Statistical analyses were conducted using the SPSS program (ver. 28.0) for χ2-test, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Duncan's multiple range test, factor analysis, and Importance-Satisfaction Analysis (ISA). Results: Of the 249 subjects surveyed, 85.5% had some experience of purchasing meal-kits, with significantly more females than males (p < 0.01), significantly more married people than single people (p < 0.05), significantly more employed people than unemployed people (p < 0.05). Meal-kits were purchased most frequently for meals (60.6%), from discount stores or supermarkets (44.6%), and priced between 10,000 won and 20,000 won per person (46.9%). The overall satisfaction with meal-kits was 4.1 out of 5.0 points. The frequency of purchases was Korean soup dishes (69.5%), Korean main dishes (47.4%), and Korean street snacks (46.9%). Factor analysis of the meal-kit selection attributes revealed, 4 factors: 'quality of food,' 'packaging and diversity,' 'quality of meal-kit,' and 'convenience and price.' Compared to single-person households, multi-person households placed significantly higher importance on the 'quality of food,' 'packaging and diversity,' and 'quality of meal-kit.' The factor, 'packaging and diversity' were significantly higher in the importance evaluation scores for females (p < 0.01), married people (p < 0.05), and people in their 30s (p < 0.05) among meal-kit consumers. According to the ISA results, a critical aspect that meal-kit manufacturers or sellers should strengthen is 'price.' Conclusion: Meal-kit products will need to be developed for various purposes that offer high value for money that can satisfy the consumers' needs to improve the satisfaction of meal-kit consumers.

  • 최근 저가의 무선 통신 기술의 발달과 고성능 이동 컴퓨팅 장비의 보급에 따라 이동 컴퓨팅 시장이 점차로 확대되면서 이동 컴퓨팅 환경의 제약성에 효율적으로 대처하기 위한 여러 방법이 제안되었고, 캐쉬 기법에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 그 중에서 이동 호스트의 위치 변화에 따라 이동 호스트의 캐쉬 내에 저장된 데이터의 가치와 의미가 변경되는 것에 기반을 두고, 시간에 따른 사용자의 이동성과 데이터의 공간 속성을 효과적으로 지원하는 캐쉬 교체 방법으로 CR_LOC와 CR_REG가 제안되었다. 본 논문은 이동 컴퓨팅 환경 하에서 데이터의 공간 속성을 고려한 캐쉬 교체를 수행할 때 캐쉬 적중률에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들을 분석하고 이에 대한 성능평가를 수행한다. 이를 바탕으로 서로 다른 조건의 이동 호스트 각각에 대한 최적의 캐쉬 교체를 수행하기 위한 캐쉬 교체 선택 알고리즘을 제시한다.

Effect of Attitudinal Factors on Stated Preference of Low-carbon Transportation Services (개인성향 요인이 탄소저감형 교통서비스 잠재선호에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • In response to the growing global concern for the environment, the international community has recently committed to achieving 'carbon neutrality.' As a result, numerous studies have been conducted on mode choice models that include carbon emissions as a variable. However, few studies have established a correlation between individual preferences and carbon emissions. In this study, a new mode of transportation named sustainable public transit (SPT), incorporating carbon-reducing transport options like electric scooters, is proposed. Analyzing the individual preferences of commuters on carbon emissions through factor analysis, a stated preference (SP) survey was conducted. A mode choice model for SPT was constructed using multinomial logit models. The results of the analysis showed that gender, income, and specific preferences, such as a passion for exploring new routes, a preference for intermodal transfers, knowledge of carbon reduction, and carbon reduction practices, significantly influence latent preferences for SPT. Therefore, this study is significant as it considers carbon emissions as an attribute variable during the construction of mode choice models and reflects the individual preference variables associated with carbon reduction.
