In this study, we analyzed differences of explanation on gas pressure and atmospheric pressure in elementary and secondary school science textbooks and general chemistry and general earth science textbooks based on three types of explanation criteria: first, explanation of mass; second, explanation of air pressure on unit area; third. explanation of molecular motion. The results were as follows. Elementary science textbook belonged to the first type. All of the secondary school chemistry textbooks belonged to the third type. But most of the general chemistry textbooks belonged to the first and second type. Most of the earth science textbooks for secondary school and most of the general earth science textbooks belonged to the first type. Therefore, the differences of explanation could disturb students' understanding on gas pressure and atmospheric pressure.

This paper proposes a method of support-generation using morphological image processing instead of geometric calculations. The geometric computational cost is dependent on the shape, but our method is independent on the shape. For obtaining the external support area for extrusion shape, we represents morphological operations between two sliced layer images and shows results of each operation stages. Internal support area is evaluated from erosion and opening operations with the sliced-layer image. In these support areas, the supporter image is generated using the designed support structures. Also, we made a DLP printer and the STL model included supporter-structure is printed by the DLP printer. We confirmed the necessity of support-generation method with the support structures individually dependent on materials by looking at the printed results.

The social studies, mathematics, and science textbooks of the elementary curriculum will begin to be authorized from 2022. This study explores the effect of textbooks based on a gamification motivation strategy on learner interest. For this purpose, this study analyzes whether the systematic application of the gamification motivation strategy to elementary studies textbooks, which will be authorized from 2022, can develop this textbook into a "learner-centered curriculum book that induces interest." More specifically, this study applied Kumsung Publishing's experimental social studies textbooks in class and conducted a questionnaire among 121 third graders to verify the effectiveness of the textbooks. The results show that studies textbooks based on a gamification motivation strategy greatly influence increased learner interest in the classroom. The textbooks also represent a positive influence in learner understanding, interest, and curiosity regarding the class content and assistance. Demonstrating that gamification motivation strategy is worthwhile to actively apply in future textbook development for the enhancement of learners' interests, this study is significant in that it has presented a meaningful textbook development model.

In order to establish the correct direction for the use of digital textbooks in the future, it is necessary to derive implications for improving the domestic digital textbook utilization policy by analyzing the actual conditions of other countries that are already using digital textbooks. Therefore, in this paper, we compared the policies of using digital textbooks in the United States, Canada, Malaysia, and China, and reviewed ways to improve Korea's digital textbook policies. First, each country's digital textbook promotion subject and strategy, scope of use, issuance system, and usage method were compared, and then the implications of each country's digital textbook policy were analyzed. And based on these implications, a plan to improve Korea's digital textbook policy was suggested. It is expected that this will be used as meaningful basic data in preparing policies for the development of digital textbooks in the future.

정보 사회의 급속적인 발달로 인해 컴퓨터 교과가 독자적인 교과로 채택되어야 하는 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 현재 사용하고 있는 초등학교 컴퓨터 교과서는 기능위주의 교과서로 구성되어 있어서 독립교과로서의 컴퓨터 교과서로는 사용하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 고에서는 독립교과로서의 컴퓨터 교과서의 새로운 단원 구조를 제시해보고 그 예시안을 제안하며, 컴퓨터 교과서의 형태 측면에서 보조교과서의 형태 방향과 e-textbook의 형태 방향을 제안하였다.

전자책 시장은 점차 커지고 있으며, 멀지 않은 미래에 교과서 역시 전자책 형태의 디지털 교과서로 교체될 것이다. 디지털 교과서는 교실이라는 환경과 수업을 통한 교사와 학생의 상호작용이 중요한 요소이기 때문에 기존의 전자책과는 다른 특성을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 교과서가 갖춰야할 특성으로, 커뮤니티 기반의 책 읽기, 사용자 제작 콘텐츠, 퀴즈 지원, 멀티미디어 및 사용자 인터랙션의 지원 등을 제시한다. 향후 디지털 교과서는 이러한 요구사항들을 제공할 수 있도록 개발되어야 할 것이다.
