This paper investigates the determinants of port service quality from a resources-based approach. The research model is derived from the relevant literature in port management, service quality, and resource-based theory. It is hypothesized that tangible and intangible resources contribute to port service quality, which in turn leads to the enhancement of reputation and loyalty to ports. To test this, a questionnaire survey is undertaken on three major ports in Korea: Busan, Incheon, and Gwangyang; the collected data are then analyzed using partial least squares. It is suggested that both tangible resources and intangible resources have a positive influence on general service quality and that general service quality has a positive influence on customer satisfaction, thus improving port reputation and loyalty. The contribution to the literature is that resource-based theory is applied to a port service quality model and the model is verified. In addition, an augmented model is adopted to examine the effect of individual resources on service quality. It is also possible for port managers to use the constructs to monitor their resources and develop more specific strategies to gain reputation and loyalty from customers.

Video services have been widely generalized thanks to the progress in compression streaming technologies. In spite of the innate difficulties in guaranteeing quality of service(QoS) of the Internet, the quality of service that is experienced by users have been improved considerably with overall bandwidth growth over the Internet and new compression and streaming technologies. For further sophisticated management scheme from the current homogeneous one, it should consider the characteristics of video contents. This paper investigates that the Quality of Experience(: QoE) for video services can vary according to the characteristics of video contents for the same compression method and transmission environments. It is expected that this result contributes to establish a new and advanced scheme to manage QoE for video services over the Internet.

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is currently a popular research topic as a real time voice packet transmission method. But current Internet environment do not guarantee the quality of voice when we take a side view of delay, jitter and loss. Up to now, many voice based evaluation algorithms have been used to measure speech quality of VoIP systems. However, these algorithms have the defects that their results are different according to voice samples and some algorithms can not take network environment for speech transmission path. The E-model can be used to solve the problems of these algorithms. In this paper. we introduce VoIP planning guidelines through the various analysis of E-model which can model impairments of network quality as well as VoIP equipment quality systematically, We, also, show the evaluation method and results of speech transmission quality.

IT 서비스의 안정적인 공급과 IT 서비스의 품질 개선을 이루고자 하는 SLA(Service Level Agreement)에 대해 많은 연구와 시도가 지금까지 진행되어 왔다. SLA 시행에 있어서 측정 지표와 그 평가 기준 선정은 매우 중요하나, 대부분 SLA 측정 지표들은 기술관점의 항목들로 구성되어 있기 때문에, SLA 시행 결과가 사용자 중심이 아닌 서비스 제공자 중심으로 나타나고 있다. 이는 사용자의 불만족을 초래하고 서비스 제공자와의 의사 소통을 어렵게 만들고, 결국 SLA 도입 실패로 이어지는 원인이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 SLA 측정 지표들에서, 사용자 중심의 SLA 측정 지표로 활용할 수 있는 항목들을 BSC 의 인과관계모델을 통해 추출하고, AHP 기법을 통해 SLA 평가 기준들과 측정 지표들에 대한 가중치를 도출하였다. 이를 통하여 사용자 관점의 SLA 지표 선정 방법에 대한 명확한 기준을 제시하였다.

Service quality research is being conducted actively to improve customer satisfaction in various fields, but no research has been done on the service quality of small arms in the national defense. To enhance the user satisfaction and quality of small arms, this study aimed to derive the main quality attributes, measure the current level of satisfaction, and explore the elements requiring improvement. For this, a questionnaire survey based on the Kano model and SERVQUAL model was conducted on the identified service quality factors through discussions of experts involved in the production, quality assurance, and operation. All service quality factors were classified as one-dimensional elements, and an analysis of the Kano-SERVQUAL integrated approach showed that the user's expectation and dissatisfaction coefficient had a strong positive correlation with a 1% significance level, and user's perception value and satisfaction coefficient had a negative correlation with the 1% significance level. Using the Kano-SERVQUAL integrated approach, the priority service quality attributes for small arms requiring improvement among the many areas of service quality could be identified. Overall, it is expected that service-quality-level measurements can be used to improve the quality level of munitions as well as user satisfaction.

초고속 해상무선통신망(LTE-Maritime)은 바다 어민의 안전과 항해 중인 선박의 편의 서비스 제공을 위해 대한민국 연안으로부터 최대 100km 까지 해역을 LTE(Long Term Evolution) 통신 체계로 구축한 세계 최초의 해상 무선통신망이다. 본 논문은 초고속 해상무선통신망의 활용성을 높이기 위해 다용한 용도로 개발된 무선설비의 호환성, 신뢰성, 안정성을 확보하기 위한 상호운용성 시험 방안을 논의해보고자 한다. 본 논문은 이종 통신장비 및 이종 무선설비 간의 상호운용성을 단말(무선설비)과 시스템의 종단간 통신품질 측정을 통해 서비스 커버리지 성능, 무선데이터 전송 속도 및 전송성공률 등을 검토해 보고, 각 품질 지표를 검증할 수 있는 시험 구성 방안, 시험 항목 및 절차, 측정 결과 분석 방법 등을 다각도로 살펴보고자 한다.

An empirical study was carried out to examine how Container Terminals in Busan view quality management activities by the provision of statistical evidence showing the efforts to enhance the standard of quality management, common factors of quality management activities and causal relationship among these factors. The data investigating the quality management for Busan Container Terminals were collected from 170 persons in charge of quality management for port services in Busan Container terminals by the use of questionnaire method and personal interviews. The Cronbach's a coefficient and factor analysis were used to analyze the reliability and the validity of measured variables. Furthermore, SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method using AMOS(Analysis of MOment Structure) 4.0 was usea to analyze the cause-effect relationship among the source, activities and accomplishments of quality management representing the core concept of quality management system.

In order to offer the service information of high-quality, we should develop the software of high-Quality. We need the united estimate method, because existing developed quality measurements individually measure attributes using the different viewpoint. Therefor, this paper propose the model that able to include many method of measurements. Our model selects the ratio scales and calculates the relative significance of them by using rough logic. Then, in order to measure the quality of module, it integrates the significance of scales and the measured value of them by using fuzzy integral. Finally, we analyze the correlation between the existing scales with our measurement and validate our model through statistical technique.

유선 IPTV 멀티캐스팅 서비스에서 증가되는 네트워크 트래픽 로드에 따른 화상 품질 측정과 화상 품질 변화에 대한 연구는 IPTV 서비스에 대한 관심이 현실화됨에 따라 필요하게 되었다. 또한, 다양한 무선 이동 단말의 등장으로 무선 IPTV 연구에서의 네트워크 트래픽 로드에 따른 화상 품질의 효과가 주어지는 네트워크 성능 확인 및 이를 활용하기 위한 보안에 대한 필요가 증대하게 되었다. 따라서 테스트 환경을 학교 네트워크로 확장하여 실제 IPTV 서비스 환경과 비슷한 학교 네트워크에서 네트워크 트래픽 로드 증가에 따른 무선 IPTV 멀티캐스팅 서비스에서의 보안 방안에 대해 연구하고자 한다.
