The EVRC vocoder is a toll quality coder, but it shows significant degradation or the quality in weak RF environment. In this paper, the speech quality degradation phenomenon of the EVRC is analyzed, and two methods are proposed as the solution - the pitch prediction and the gradual increase. The preference tests for various Rf environment are performed for speech quality assessments and both the methods show better performance.

The paper attempts to identify the Logistics Service Duality of Container Terminals and to test the model by using of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). Also, the research assess the practical competitiveness of Container Terminals in Kwangyang by Fuzzy technique. To conclude, we can make the following observations: (1) we classifies the Logistic Service Quality into five attributes such as Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, (2) Assurance is drawn to the most important attribute, (3) There is a significant disparity between the operators and the users in the relative importance of the Logistics Service Quality Attributes of Container Terminal, (4) In the result of analysis of the terminals' competitiveness, C Terminal is extracted as the most superior operator. In Addition, we hope to provide useful contribution to increase Gwangyang container terminal's competitiveness and offer some insight in further research.

Many organizations have been outsourcing not only simple tasks but Information Systems and business processes rapidly. IT outsourcing is considered as a critical strategy of businesses these days. Anyhow, many companies still have IT solution problems even though they have been outsourcing their IT department or functions. Moreover, many companies have difficulties when it comes to the selection a proper IT outsourcing service vendor. This study focused on evaluation methodology for small and medium sized organizational selection of IT outsourcing provider. This study's results is a presentation of an evaluation methodology using the AHP weighted value of the factors and the factors' variables. Small and medium sized organizational managers can refer to this study's result as an evaluation index and methodology at the beginning of their IT outsourcing project or for changing their vendors.

본 연구는 최근 그 시장규모와 수요가 급격히 증가하고 있는 CMS의 평가방법론을 개발하기 위한 목적으로, CMS와 IT솔루션 평가이론에 대하여 고찰하여, CMS의 평가항목을 크게 '솔루션 특성', '공급벤더 역량', '구매업체 환경적합성'의 대항목으로 분류하고, '컨텐츠 관리기능', '비즈니스지원기능', '기술성', '경제성', '벤더수준', '서비스', '사후관리', '정보화계획적합성', '정보화설비적합성', '조직/인적자원적 합성'의 총 10가지 세부항목을 정의하였다. 또한 AHP 기법을 통하여 각 평가항목의 가중치를 결정하고, 과거 단순가중치법을 이용하여 도입된 CMS구매과정에 대한 사례연구를 실시하였다. 결과적으로 각 솔루션의 순위는 똑같이 결정되었으나, 과거 단순가중치법에 의해 산출된 각 솔루션의 득점비율과 본 사례연구를 통하여 도출된 상대적 선호도는 수치상 큰 차이가 존재하였다. 그 차이는 평가항목과 방법상의 차이에 의한 당연한 결과이지만, 솔루션의 선정이라는 중차대한 의사결정문제를 해결함에 있어, 보다 객관적이고 과학적인 방법론을 이용하여야 함을 시사하고 있다.

The purpose of current tunnel maintenance system in South Korea is safety-based maintenance system for accident prevention, So it is difficult to conduct a strategic maintenance. The development of a new maintenance system can lead to effective investment of limited financial and it's effort is still in progress. In this study, to develop a performance-based assessment method, indexes for assessment are derived taking into account the safety, durability and serviceability. The indexes for performance-based assessment were selected by a literature analysis and a delphi survey. Then the importance among indexes were calculated by the AHP analysis.

This study introduces a study on the adjustment methods of the Life Safety Index. The Life Safety Index is a service provided by the Life Safety Prevention Service System. It comprehensively evaluates individuals' levels of safety in their daily lives, continually monitors their safety status, and presents a comprehensive index to prevent safety accidents in advance. Previous studies have developed the Life Safety Index using evaluation criteria (items) for assessing life safety prevention services, incorporating both the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and Likert Scale techniques. In this study, we build upon this existing Life Safety Index and explore methods for applying adjustment factors based on individuals' characteristics to enhance its accuracy and customization. We develop adjustment factors using existing national statistics to provide personalized services tailored to individual profiles. Therefore, this paper proposes a method for providing customized services by applying adjustment factors to the Life Safety Index, contributing to the development and application of life safety index adjustment methodologies.

GUI는 매우 감성적인 분야로서 객관적인 평가 및 정량화가 어려웠다. 이러한 어려움으로 인해 GUI에 대한 성과 측정이 이루어지지 못함으로써 각 기업에서 GUI및 GUI 개발이 제대로 된 평가를 받지 못하는 상황이 많이 발생하였다. 본 사례에서는 상품과 서비스의 품질 관리를 위한 6시그마 의 통계적 기법을 GUI일관성 평가에 도입하여 GUI의 비일관적인 요소를 불량률로 산출함으로써 GUI의 수준을 측정하고 정량화하는 방안에 대해 모색해 보았다.

향후 전개될 멀티미디어 정보화 사회 구축을 위한 가장 적합한 통신 방식은 ATM (비동기 전송 방식)으로 음성, 영상, 데이터를 실시간, 비실시간 데이터로 구분하여 복합적으로 전송할 수 있다. 또한 유선 ATM 망은 이동성을 보장하는 무선 ATM 망으로 확장되어질 수 있다. 유선 ATM 망과 무선 ATM 망의 차이점은 이동성과 전송 환경의 특성으로 발생하는 오류 확율이다. 현재 무선 ATM 망에서 증가된 오류율을 유선 ATM 망의 수준으로 감소시키기 위한 여러 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 전송 환경의 버스트 오류에 효과적인 인터리빙 기법을 무선 전송단의 한정된 대역폭에 할당되는 ATM 셀의 가상 회선/경로의 수만 감소시켜 일반 ATM 셀과의 연동성을 보장하는 Modified 셀에 적용을 제안하였고 일반 ATM 셀 전송과 비교하여 성능 향상에 대하여 평가하였다. 모의실험 결과 제안된 기법은 버스트 오류 환경에서 셀 손실율이 버스트 오류의 크기에 따라 효율적으로 감소되며 또한 이중 헤더 적용으로 셀 손실율을 감소시킴을 알 수 있었다. 본 기법은 인터리빙과 이중헤더의 사용으로 추가되는 오버헤더가 없으며, H-ARQ를 적용했을 때 불가능한 실시간 데이터 서비스에도 적합하다는 장점이 있다.

정보 공유를 위한 거대한 정보 시스템인 월드 와이드 웹의 폭발적인 증가는 기존 네트워크의 트래픽을 유발시키고 서버의 부하를 가져오는 가장 큰 원이니 되고 있다. 많은 요청으로 인하여 원활한 서비스를 제공하기 어렵고, 또한 만족할만한 응답시간을 보장받지 못하고 있다. 이러한 병목현상의 해결방안으로 주목받고 있는 것이 웹 캐시이다. 본 논문에서는 웹 캐싱기법의 기본적인 기술 측면과 다양한 캐싱기법들을 분석해 보고, 보다 효율적인 캐시 시스템을 구현하기 위한 캐시 시스템을 제안한다. 동일한 네티워크 내에서 일정 수준 이상의 접속 회수를 보여주는 웹 객체를 우선적으로 선반입 하는 사용자 액세스 패턴을 이용한 캐시 시스템을 구현하여 본다. 또한 동일한 네트워크 내에서 일반적인 캐싱 알고리즘을 채용한 캐시와 실험 결과를 비교하여 평가한다.
