The software is changed according to the changing businesses and the user requirement, it involves increasing complexity and cost. Considering the repetitive changes required for the software, replacement is more efficient than maintenance at some point. In this study, the replacement time was predicted using the service dissatisfaction index and replacement point assessment index by the software group for each task. First, fuzzy inference was used to develop the method and indicator for the user's service level dissatisfaction. Second, the replacement point assessment method was established considering the quality, costs, and new technology of the software. Third, a replacement time prediction technique that used the gap between the user service measurement and replacement point assessment values was proposed. The results of the case study with the business solutions of three organizations, which was conducted to verify the validity of the proposed prediction technique in this study, showed that the service dissatisfaction index decreased by approximately 16% and the replacement point assessment index increased by approximately 9%.

Because bridges can cause more significant damage than other infrastructure a certain level of safety shall necessarily be secured for users. As most of bridges' service life become 20-30 years there will be a dramatic increase in the maintenance and repair cost but the budget and human resource will be limited. Asset management technique can help the efficiency in maintenance and budget management with the limited resource. For its application, there must be a way to evaluate how bridges provide service to users. The level of service can be quantified by a performance measure. This study introduces performance measures and an evaluation process for the determination of level of service. The evaluation results will be used as a fundamental information in the determination of maintenance/repair/management targets and in the decision making process of the bridge asset management.

최근 몇 년 사이 컴퓨터와 초고속 통신망의 대중적인 보급으로 인하여 인터넷 사용 인구가 급격하게 증가하였고 인터넷 사용량 또한 폭발적으로 증가하였다. 이와 같이 막대한 양으로 늘어난 트래픽은 서버에 과도한 양의 부하를 발생시켜 서비스 전반에 걸친 성능 저하를 가져왔다. 따라서 서버에 많은 양의 트래픽이 발생하더라도 정상적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 서버의 트래픽 폭주로 인한 서버 과부하 문제를 해결하기 위해 수락 제어 알고리즘을 이용한다. 수락 제어 기법은 컨텐츠 변환이나 로드 밸런싱과 같이 수동적으로 부하를 덜어주거나 분산시키는 방식이 아닌 트래픽에 제한을 가하여 능동적으로 서버의 부하를 조절하는 방식이다. 클라이언트에 의한 연결 요청이 이루어질 때 서버의 부하 상태를 평가한 후 서버가 수용 가능한 수준이면 클라이언트 새로운 연결 요청을 수락하여 이를 서비스할 수 있도록 한다. <중략> 또한 서비스 요청에 제한적인 정책을 따를 경우 서버의 부하 변화에 빠르게 반응하지만 QoS(Quality of Service)의 향상을 얻을 수 있는 반면 더 많은 서비스 요청을 수용하는 정책을 취할 경우 서버의 부하 변화에 대한 반응이 느리지만 throughput이 증가하는 이득을 얻을 수 있게 된다. QoS와 throughput가 서로 tradeoff 관계에 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 요구되는 서비스의 성격에 따라 즉 더 높은 수준의 QoS 보장이 중요한 서비스인가 아니면 더 높은 수준의 throughput 보장이 요구되는 서비스인가에 따라 다른 수락 제어 정책을 적용하는 것이 가능하게 된다.

Recent studies on development of level of service (LoS) for separated sewer pipe have simply shown high-level of LoS from the perspective of users and financial/social/economical factors, which results in poor connectivity to real maintenance work. The objective of this study is to develope the evaluation indicators of level of service in the manner of function by analyzing the separated sewer pipes with FAST, function analysis systems technique, used in value engineering. The evaluation indicators suggested in this study include all the functions of separated sewer pipes and show an advantage of focused function maintenance. Moreover, developed indicators help to manage archival history and to perform asset management effectively.

In heterogeneous and distributed computing environments, with an increasing number of Web services providing similar functionalities, the reliability of Web services is a critical decision factor. To fulfill the open business model such as cooperation among enterprises, several Web services can be composed into the upper level business transaction. In Web services composition, the reliability of services is more and more critical. Though each unit Web service can be reliable, the reliability of the composed service is not guaranteed. Thus a way to efficiently assess and select composed Web services is needed. In this paper, we define new metrics for measuring the trust value of Web services, and propose an evaluation method to predict the trustworthy degree of the composed services based on the metrics. We also define a conceptual framework to support optimal Web services selection based on the proposed trust evaluation method. By selecting using the quantitative measurement rather than intuitive selection of the service user, it allows the service users to select the high reliable service meeting their quality requirements well.

일반적으로 아웃소싱은 비용절감이나, 경쟁력 확보를 목적으로 기업 외부에서 필요한 자원, 기술력 및 해결방안 등을 찾는 경영기법으로, 단순용역업무에서부터 기업의 핵심기능인 IT 분야에 이르기까지 폭 넓게 활용되고 있다. 특히 IT 아웃소싱은 일상적인 정보시스템의 운영 및 개선, 네트워크 운영 및 어플리케이션의 유지/개선 등을 외부의 전문가에게 맡겨 점진적인 서비스 수준의 향상과 비용의 절감을 유도하고, 내부자원은 핵심역량에 집중시켜, 기업의 경쟁력을 높이는 하나의 경영수단으로 각광 받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실제 통신서비스업체의 IT분야를 아웃소싱한 사례 연구를 통해서 IT 아웃소싱의 추진 시 필요한 제반사항과 절차, 추진배경등을 알아보고, 아웃소싱 성과를 결정하는 중요 요소인 서비스 성과측정 모델에 대해 연구하였다. '90 년대 후반 통신시장개방, 본격적인 경쟁체제 돌입등 핵심역량강화 차원에서 시작된 아웃소싱은 통신업체 국내최초의 사례로 처음부터 예상치못했던 어려움과 추진과정에서의 시행착오도 많이 겪었다. 또한, 선진외국사례의 아웃소싱 계약사례 및 서비스수준을 평가하기위한 서비스 수준 약정서등 국내 통신업체 환경에 맞게 잘 짤여지도록 수많은 검토와 사례 연구를 통해 계약을 체결할 수 있었으며, 아웃소싱이후 예상되었던 많은 문제점들을 해결하기위해 아웃소싱 인력들의 의욕수준을 높이기위한 직무 재교육, Incentive 제도 도입, 서비스와 관련된 제반 프로세스 재정립 등을 통하여 소기의 성과를 이룩할 수 있었다. 특히, 통신업체 IT 아웃소싱의 성공요인은 계약적 구조적 측면에 해당하는 적정한 서비스의 평가와 이에 상응하는 대가의 지급방안에 대한 것이고 양 사가 만족할 만한 성과를 내가 위해서는 수직적관계가 아니라 제휴관계로서의 Relationship 을 유지할 수 있도록 이 두가지 모두를 고려 해야만 성공적인 아웃소싱 추진에 한걸음 더 나아갈 것이며, 아울러 향후에도 아직 미흡한 분야인 IT 아웃소싱에서 적정수준의 대가지급 방안 및 바람직한 Relationship 에 영향을 미치는 여러 가지 요인에 대해서도 살펴 봄으로써 IT분야의 Outsourcing을 검토하거나, 추진할 때 도움이 될 수 있도록 하고자 한다.

본 논문에서는 무선 ATM 망에서 멀티 서비스 클래스를 지원하기 위하여 핸드오프로 인한 이동 특성과 호 수준의 QoS를 고려한 동적 무선 자원 관리 기법을 제안하였다. 제안한 기법은 무선 자원을 우선적으로 핸드오프 호에게 할당하고 새로운 호에게도 서비스 확률에 의하여 동적으로 자원을 할당하도록 한다. 서비스 확률은 전체 무선 대역폭, 임계값, 사용중인 무선 대역폭, 이동 특성, 그리고 서비스 클래스별 조정값을 이용하여 동적으로 결정된다. 또한 제안한 기법의 성능을 평가하기 위해 수학적 분석을 실시하였고 핸드오프 호의 강제 종료 확률, 새로운 호의 블록킹 확률, 자원 이용률 관점에서 기존의 기법과 비교하였다.

본 논문에서는 항만 입출항시 선박의 안전 강화를 위하여, 항만 PNT(Position, Navigation, and Timing) 수신 모듈의 예상 측위 정확도와 그 오차수준을 평가하여 사용자에게 제공하기 위한 해상 PNT 정보의 신뢰도 서비스 개념에 대해 다룬다. 국제해사기구(IMO)에서 요구하는 해양항법성능인 항만 입출항시의 측위정확도(Accuracy)와 무결성(Integrity), 그리고 가용성(Availability)을 충족하기 위한 성능 평가기법과 성능 검증방법에 대해 제시한다. 사용자 관점에서의 GPS 오차수준을 분석하기 위하여, 신뢰도 측정 및 평가를 위한 수평보호수준(HPL, Horizontal Protection Level)과 스탠포드 다이어그램 분석을 통한 평가를 실시하여, 신뢰도 측정지수를 기반으로 사용자에게 신뢰성 수준을 제공하기 위한 방안을 제시한다.

Data of central government and local government was collected automatically from the public data portal. And we did the multidimensional analysis based on various perspective like file format and present condition of public data. To complete this work, we constructed Data Warehouse based on the other countries' evaluation index case. Finally, the result from service level evaluation by using multidimensional analysis was used to display each area, establishment, fields.

Traffic safety in freeway work zones is of keen interest since both crash frequency and severity are much higher than those in general freeway sections. The lane closure in work zones results in greater work load of drivers due to compulsory lane changes and speed reduction. Therefore, traffic merging control is an effective countermeasure for enhancing work zone safety. This study proposed an integrated framework based on driving and traffic simulations to evaluate traffic merging control methods in terms of traffic safety. In addition to the conventional merging method using the taper, joint merge and chicane-type merge were evaluated by the proposed methodology. Chicane-type merge outperformed other methods under level of service (LOS) A and B. On the other hand, it was identified that joint merge showed the best safety performance under LOS C traffic conditions.
