한미필름테크 변창규사장. 그는 원래 금융인이었다. 변사장이 인쇄제판용 필름 생산 업체인 한미필름테크의 대표이사에 취임한 것은 IMF외환위기가 닥쳤던 1998년. 사표를 내고 부도상태에 놓여 있던 회사를 인수해 과감한 투자와 기술 개발로 불과 몇 년만에 반듯한 회사로 키웠다. 7개에 이르는 특허를 보유하고 충북에 대규모 공장도 신축했다. 2002년 매출액이 60억원에 이르고 수출 길도 열었다. 2003년의 매출 목표는 180억원이다. 변사장을 만나 금융인에서 사업가로 변신하게 된 동기와 인쇄용 필름 생산으로 창업 4년여 만에 성공한 사업가로 평가받게 된 배경, 앞으로의 계획 등을 들어 보았다.

With the recent trend of Web 2.0, experts argue that the UCC age has blossomed where people themselves produce their own content and share it on the Internet. However, more academic studies on video UCC production are needed to understand fully the video UCC phenomenon in Korea. This study was done as an exploratory study to investigate the motivations for video UCC production and its effects. Results reveal that the important motivations for participating in video UCC creation are fun, sharing, and self-expression. For the rewards for video UCC creation participation, feedback, sharing and self-satisfaction are considered valuable psychological rewards by the video UCC creators. Furthermore, the total amount of video UCC production is positively correlated with self-evaluation of fun, importance, and practicality of the video UCC content.

This study seeks to examine the aspects of the translation and translation activities of game fan translators through the localization case of 'Dragon Age Inquision'. The interaction and experience of the game are game fan translation, giving various motivations and generating translation kinetics. The study confirmed the motivation by observing the process of game fan translation, which shows the characteristics of producers and recipients at the same time, and interviewing game fan translators. The translation of the game fan will reveal the productive aspect of the game fandom, and then I suggest a point where the game culture should discuss the fan translation.

This study analyzed the effect of on - the - job training of workers in Chungnam western area on productivity improvement. A total of 76 questionnaires were analyzed for workers in the western part of Chungcheongnam-do that completed the training course of the Korea Polytechnic University Education and Labor Ministry. The results of this study are as follows: First, the higher the motivation to receive the on - the - job training for the improvement of the productivity, the higher the satisfaction of the training of the worker, but the effect on the job productivity was not significant. Second, the correlation between training experience and job productivity was not statistically significant. Third, as for the effect on the productivity improvement according to the rank, the temporary workers showed higher education satisfaction than the regular workers (agency), and the job productivity was higher than the manager (manager level). Results of ANOVA analysis showed that there was a significant effect on educational satisfaction and job satisfaction according to years of work, career, and rank. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of on - the - job training of workers in the western part of Chungnam, on the productivity improvement, The validity of the study is significant.

The present study, on the bass of a premise that reference lists are one of the social products, reflecting various social environments of their own society, was made as part of an attempt to explore the co-occurrence phenomenon of both Korean and Non-Korean Literatures occurred within the Korean references. 321 authors (articles) of 43 Korean journals on Social Sciences were surveyed on research channels and citation motivations and their 11358 references were analyzed. The findings are as follows : 1) The extent of the co-occurrence was that Non-Korean literatures were more 1.9 times (65.3%) cited than Korean ones and English (61.5%)-American (50.4%) predominancy was heavily found. 2) Research channel, worked as an indicator of the identity of researcher as well as the source of research ideas was most Non-Korean channel orientedness (55.8%). 3) Citation motivations were significantly depended on whether Korean or Non-Korean literatures and non-Korean literatures were cheifly cited to be conceptual motivations than other motivations. 4) Research channel among variables was worked as a main effect predicting major citation motivations on Non-Korean literatures. Finally, this study is very suggestive : 1) It might be a new approach and interpretation by adopting citation motivations to explore a process of knowledge producting of researchers 2) Partly, it proved empirically the relationship of knowledge producted by Korean researchers to Non-Korean knowledge through the analysis of citation motivations.

This paper estimates the output and price elasticities of disaggregated industrial water in order to afford some information for improving the efficiency of government water policy. This paper uses the marginal productivity method for estimating the output and price elasticities of industrial water. The estimated output elasticity shows that the value of industrial water is much higher than the average price of industrial water and the estimated price elasticity shows that the water pricing policy is effective for controlling the demand of industrial water.
