  • Software development methodology has been developed for satisfying goals of improvement in productivity and reduction in time-to-market through the reuse of software assets. The current methods that implement software product-line, one of software development methodologies, interfere massively with the core assets, which require high cost in assembly level reducing the effectiveness. In this paper, we introduce Aspect-Oriented Programming (AOP) as a method for improving assembly process in software product-line. The method that assembles core assets and variabilities is described by grammar elements such as Join point, pointcut and advice without code-change. We analyze requirements of a mini-system as an example adapting AOP and design using UML. Our study implements the variabilities, which are from design stage, using an Aspect-Oriented Programming Language, AspectJ and prove usability and practicality by implementing the proposed idea using an Aspect-Oriented Programming Language, AspectJ.

  • The Non-Sampling Error can happen any time by means of the intended or unintended error by the interviewer or respondent, but it is very difficult to find the error in survey database because it can hardly be computed mathematically and systematically. Until now, we have found it accidentally through the simple relation between the items or through the inspection from the random field. Therefore we introduced an heuristic methodology that can detect the interviewer's error by statistical decision-making or data mining techniques with a case study. It will be helpful so as to improve the statistical duality and provide efficient field management for the supervisor.

  • The reuse of software is to use the components of software to be made beforehand to improve the productivity of it. The development of electronic commerce requires it which can be shown from changing the change of business models Reuse is the necessary solution to cope with a rapid change in the electronic commercial transaction. These reuse business models have the defects that they are not offered from version management. This paper has the purpose that by doing the supplementation of defects not to be offered from the version management and by introducing the quick change management about reuse business models, reusing the components and saving a development and reducing a development af period. The reuse of components by the new reuse business models has the advantages to minimize the danger elements from the design to the finish. We use the version management and try to present the method to make the efficiency of reuse by introducing components and managing the elements about components to the version in the technique to accomplish the reuse of software.

  • On public constructions, that the first planed projects delay than the scheduled completion day occurrence frequently because gap between the scheduled construction durations and the actual construction durations. These facts connect with not only problems of the construction during as the construction delay but also brought about the distribution costs increase as the failure of facility use plan and the people discomfort weight, failure of the production and the supply using facility then tremendous loss of each part etc. For reduce these loss, it must improve accuracy of the scheduled construction duration estimating when it order. This study try contribute to a successful manage of public project and reduce the construction duration extension frequent of the construction during, and then ensure the suitable construction duration by present the estimation model of the scheduled construction duration that include the construction duration correct element using as an index on the scheduled construction duration estimation.

  • This report examines the economic feasibility of a commercial 50,000 barrel per day direct coal liquefaction(DCL) facility to produce commercial-grade diesel and naphtha liquids from medium-sulfur bituminous coal. The scope of the study includes capital and operating cost estimates, sensitivity analysis and a comparative financial analysis. Based on plant capacity of 50,000BPD, employing Illinois #6 bituminous coal as feed coal the total capital cost appeared $3,994,858,000. Also, the internal rate of return of DCL appeared 6.60% on the base condition. In this case, coal price and sale price of products were the most influence factors. And DCL's payback period demanded a long time(12.3 years), because of high coal price at the present time. According to sensitivity analyses, the important factors on DCL processes were product sale price, feed coal price and the capital cost in order.

  • The integration of Quality Circles and Six-Sigma has gained attentions for the attainment of enhanced customer satisfaction, costs reduction, and improved business performance. The purpose of this paper is to verify the benefit from the integration of Quality Circles and Six-Sigma by applying the integrated process for an alcohol manufacturing line. In the integrated process, we used the first three steps of Six-Sigma of Define, Measure, and Analyze(D-M-A) and then applied the concept of Quality Circle, which has good performance in the Improvement and Control(I-C) process. For the selection of the theme of quality circles, Analytic Hierarch Process(AHP) is used, and we also employed the experimental design, which is designed to find an optimal operating condition. Furthermore, the results of the economic analysis confirm that the integration process would be successful in reducing the incidence of defects and the quality cost.

  • This paper presents a framework for quantitative software development performance measurement and analysis based on characteristics of software in System on Chip (SoC) industry, one of the semiconductor businesses. In this paper, we propose a measurement model based on not only theoretical model (Performance Pyramid) but also characteristics of SoC embedded software. Quantitative software development performance measurement is not just collecting indicators but analyzing quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) of collected indicators. Externally, it is possible for programmers to develop software meeting customers' needs. Internally, more efficient software development can be possible through the visible productivity increase. Using the proposed framework, the paper quantitatively measures embedded software development performance.

  • Possibility of federation improvement requires flexibility and adaptability of member federates. Moreover, to develop and convert a non-HLA(High Level Architecture) compliant model as a HLA federate and allow this federate to be integrated with a changeable federation, more time and efforts will be necessary. In this research, I proposed a method to design and implement a ROM (RTI Object Model) Framework as a solution to this problem. ROM completely separates RTI (Run-Time Infrastructure) programming and simulation programming therefore providing epochal efficiencies in cost and productivity to the development a HLA federate that supports a changeable FOM. That is, ROM contains two layers : 1) a management layer that manages RTI services between the RTI and the federate and 2) a Foundation Class layer that actually updates/reflects objects and interactions. These two layers allow federate developers to use more generalized HLA services and automates the iterative, low-level RTI programming process.

  • Construction of automated terminal it urgently demanded to gain the foundation of hub-port in north east Asia. Therefore we suggest an adequate operating system layout of automated terminal in Korea. In this paper the aim of automated terminal operating system is satisfied. four basic models are divided according to moving course of export and import cargo of each automated equipments, several input data are changed and analyzed dynamically by Trial and Error method, and then an optimized operating system model is selected, and designed for yard operating system layout on the basis of the selected model. Particularly, the productivity of automated port is up to the kind of automated equipments. However, because expense and present work process must be considered actually. In order to prevent confusion of the work, the method to optimize the present work and substitute prevent equipments and automated equipments was designed. It is a premise that ail the yard equipments described in this paper must be automatic except quay crane.

  • Calcium ferrite is more effective binder for making sintered ore and flux for steel making because of it's low melting temperature. In this Study, calcium ferrite was made by calcinating method in the cement manufacturing process in order to reduce manufacturing costs and increase productivity. Limestone and calcination sludge were used as CaO source, steelmaking sludge, blast furnace dust and iron ore were used as Fe-bearing raw materials. The sintering temperature of specimens is in the range of $950{\sim}1170^{\circ}C$. For Calcium ferrite can be used 'binder for making sintered ore' or 'flux for converter/electric furnace' with a low melting point properties, the raw material characteristics and sintering properties were investigated.
