Bacterial blight of carrot caused by Xanthomonas hortorum pv. carotae (Xhc) is one of the serious diseases of carrot, of which control measures has not been still established in the domestic farm. In this study, in order to select effective sterilizer for bacterial blight of carrots, three antibiotics such as streptomycin, oxolinic acid, kasugamycin, two copper compounds like copper hydroxide and copper sulfate basic and three rhizobacteria Burkholderia gladioli MRL408-3, Pseudomonas fluorescens TRH415-2 and Bacillus cereus KRY505-3 were selected to investigate their direct antibacterial effects using artificial media, aiming to identify effective pesticides against Xhc. Among them, treated medium with antibiotics such as streptomycin, oxolinic acid, and the antagonistic rhizobacteria MRL408-3 were formed inhibition zone. The agrochemicals and the rhizobacteria MRL408-3, which showed antibacterial effects on carrot leaves, pre-treated on the carrot leaves and then inoculated with Xhc. High control effects were shown on the carrot leaves pre-treated with both streptomycin and oxolinic acid. Scanning electron microscopy images of the carrot leaf surfaces showed that the population of bacteria decreased significantly on leaves pre-treated with streptomycin and oxolinic acid. From these results, it can be inferred that antibiotics like streptomycin and oxolinic acid exhibit superior control effects compared to other agents. This study provides valuable insights towards establishing an effective control system for bacterial blight of carrot.

The antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of active ingredients in cosmetics are very important. The effects are closely related to the prevention of skin aging. Among medicinal plants, Bletilla striata Reichenbach fil. has well-known pharmacological activity. Extracted samples were prepared using sequential fractionation of ethyl acetate, butanol, and water. The antioxidant effect of the fractions was confirmed by DPPH and ABTS+ radical scavenging. Among the various fractions of B. striata Reichenbach fil., ethyl acetate was associated with a reduction in nitric oxide production, which was induced by LPS (lipopolysaccharide) treatment in a dose-dependent manner. In addition, the production of iNOS (inducible nitric oxide synthase) and COX-2 (cyclooxygenase-2), which are upstream regulators of nitric oxide production, was also inhibited. Thus, the ethyl acetate fraction of B. striata Reichenbach fil. appears to be a potential active ingredient for use in cosmetics.

We analyzed glycerol using thin-layer chromatography (TLC) and compared the separation resolution of some mobile phases. When acetonitrile:distilled water (85:15 v/v) was used as a mobile phase, the band of glycerol on the TLC was more distinctly and rapidly separated. Using TLC analysis, we prepared a calibration curve for the glycerol concentration vs. the area of the glycerol band in which the glycerol concentration of the x-axis was converted into a log-scale ranging from 3.0 to 0.0625 (%, w/v). Based on this calibration curve, the residual glycerol concentration (0.2 [%, w/v]) in biodiesel was determined successfully using TLC analysis. When the results of the TLC analysis were compared with those of a chemical and enzymatic assay, the results were fairly similar. We conclude that TLC without additional analytical instruments can be used as an alternative method for the quantitative analysis of the concentration of glycerol in biodiesel.

The Vampire has relatively universal images in through the cultural and verbal usages. The comic Higajima and movie display the latest image of Japanese Vampire of asian mode of production. After the Meiji political reformation of 18th Century, Japanese had rapidly changed into European style in every places. However, the Higajima is denied the structural changes, it is insisted that the changing is only the skin deep and colour of hair but the structure of the society is same as feudal Japan. Asian mode of production is claimed by Karl Marx, according to him, it is before the historical developing model in Europe and it was controversial. The major character of modern Japanese history would be the change of hierarchy of king-shogun-samurai-peasant based on the regional ground. The feudal structure is changed by the Meiji reformation and Japan was rushed for the westernized country rather than the asian mode of production. However, Higajima argued that the changing is just the clothes of ruler but the democracy and individual citizenship was lost in that reformation. Vampire is cursed creature that cannot see the sun and it has not the functioned as a human organ. For human it is dead but this creature actively moves and stronger than human and much superior than human in every aspects. It is managed the feeding through the suck the human blood and power to seduction. Even it is not exist, it is quite symbolic phenomenon of cultural usage of superior entity of chain of feeding. The aim of this paper is display the symbolic code Vampire of Asian mode of production in Higajima and political struggling of Japan in actual. To search of the cultural meaning and possibility of the Korean solution of modernity.

Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DGE) is one of the most important technologies for high-resolution separation of proteins for proteomics. In this study, we present a detail 2-DGE protocol which allows detection and quantification of total plant proteins separated on gels to improve matching in image analysis. This protocol highlighted here may be useful for researchers, who like to first study for the development of protein biomarkers involved in development, biotic and abiotic stresses in plant.

Purpose. This study was performed to evaluate the effects of a introduction of nursing and bioethics subject on nurse image and nursing professionalism of freshmen nursing students. Methods. Participants were 104 freshmen nursing students. The period of data collection was from March 3 to June 17, 2016. The research was done in a one group pretet-posttest for a quasi-experimental study. The data ware analyzed by frequencies and paired t-test using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results. The results are as followed : There were statistically significant differences among pre and post in the nurse image(t=-6.15, p<.001) and nursing professionalism(t=53.92, p<.001). Conclusions. We strongly recommend using introduction of nursing and bioethics subject to nurse image and nursing professionalism of freshmen nursing students. And, in future study, it is necessary to develop the curriculum and teaching strategies for improving nurse image and nursing professionalism.

Pharmaceutical companies over the world are exposed to risks of lessened sales and negative impact on corporate image due to circulation of counterfeit drugs, which eventually threatens safety of patients. thus, in order to eradicate distribution of counterfeit drugs, many countries are taking initiatives to legalize and set serialization through e-Pedigree, which is based on RFID technology or barcode system to track and trace distribution of drugs from point of manufacturing to usage. therefore, this study contemplates domestic and international management system of medical drugs and suggests application methods of e-Pedigree based on RFID technology that promotes safety of patients and distribution of drugs.

This study was described to examine the meaning of the media exhibition work <70mK>, which aims to capture the topography of the collective consciousness of the Korean people through large-scale interviews. <70mK> edits and organizes interview images of individual beings in mosaic-like layouts and forms, creating video exhibitions and holding exhibitions. The objects in the split frame show the continuity of differences that reveal their own thoughts and personalities. This is a synchronic and conscious collective typology in which the intrinsic nature of the individuals is embodied in a simultaneous and holistic image. Interview images reveal their own form as a actual being and convey the intrinsic nature of one's own as oral information. <70mK> constructs a new individualization by aesthetically structuring the forms and information of life individuals in the extension of a specific group. The beings in the frame are not communicating with each other and are looking straight ahead. it conveys to visitors their relationship and personality as the preindividual reality. It is the repetitive arrangement and composition of heterogeneity and difference that each individual shows, and is a chain operation that includes collective identity behind it. <70mK> constructs the direct images and sounds of individual interviewee, creating a new form of information transfer called Video Art Exhibition. This makes metaphors and perceptions of the meaning and process of transindividual relationships and the meaning of psychic individuation and collective individuation. This is an appropriate case to explain with modern technology and individualization of Gilbert Simondon thought together with the meaning of becoming and relation of individualization. The exhibition space constructed by <70mK> is an aesthetic methodology of the psychic and collective meaning and its relationship to a particular group of individuals through which they are connected. Simondon studied the meaning of the process of individualization and the meaning of becoming, and is a philosopher who positively considered the potential of modern technology. <70mK> is a new individual as structured and generated ethical reality mediated by modern technology mechanisms and network behaviors. It is an case of an aesthetic and practical methodology of how interviews function as 'transduction' in the process of individualization in which technology is cooperated. The direct images and sounds of <70mK> are systems in which the information of life individuals is carried, amplified, accumulated and transmitted. It is also a new individual as a psychic and collective landscape. It is a newly became exhibition art work through the multiple individualization, and is a representation of transindividual meanings and process. The media exhibition art of individualized metastable states leads to new relationships in which viewers perceive the same preindividual reality and feel affectivity. The exhibition space of <70mK> becomes a stage for preparing the actual possibility of the transindividual group beyond the representation of the semantic function.

예로부터 빛고을로 인식되었던 광주가 근세에 이르러 의병활동, 광주학생운동, 5\ulcorner18민주화운동, 아직도 끝나지 않은 이념전쟁으로만 비추어질 수도 있는 지역의 이미지를 재정립하고, 도시 경쟁력의 증대를 위한 방안으로 CI사업 추진계획을 수립하고 3개년에 걸쳐(1999～2001) CI전략 개발, CI디자인 개발, 문화상품 개발, 도시환경디자인 개발 등을 추진하였다. 최근 커뮤니케이션에 있어서 캐릭터는 정보의 시각화라는 측면에서 다른 그래픽 심볼에 비해 설득적이라 할 수 있고, 기존의 심볼의 이미지 보완적 보조심볼로서의 개념이 아닌 독자적인 영역이 구축되어야 하므로 광주광역시 캐릭터 개발은 Character Identity 차원에서 메인캐릭터와 이를 각각의 용도에 맞춰 응용전개시키는 이벤트 캐릭터, 브랜드캐릭터로 구분하여 유형에 따라 다르게 적용되어야 할 적용성 및 활용성에 중점을 두고 개발되었다. 광주광역시의 메인캐릭터 개발컨셉은 "빛"과 "생명"으로 결정된 TCI이념을 활용하는 것과 광주의 상징 요소로서 "무등산"을 활용하는 두 가지 방향에서 개발이 진행되었으며, 1999년 10월의 TCI 추진회의 1차선정을 시작으로 광주시민을 포함한 전국민 설문조사와 2000년 4월의 의회설명회에 이르기까지 다양한 방법을 통해 캐릭터 개발안에 대한 평가와 검토/수정과정을 거쳐 기본캐릭터를 완성하게 되었다. 이를 통해 본 광주광역시의 캐릭터는 중장기적으로 치밀하게 계획되고 실천되어야 하며 변화하는 환경에 효율적으로 대응하는 구체적이고 실천적인 연구평가와 접근방법에 대한 연구 등으로 그 지역의 특징적인 문화를 상품화시키려는 노력이 캐릭터개발을 토대로 뒤따라야 한다. 촉진, 중요 연구 주제의 도출 및 연구 진행 계획을 수립하고, 국제적 산학 협력 강화를 통해 공동 연구를 도출하는 자리를 마련함. $\textbullet$본 학술회의에서 발표된 논문들을 취합하여, 논문집 및 CD-ROM을 제작하여 세계적 수준의 연구 결과를 알리고 이 분야에 관련된 학문, 기술 발전에 큰 도움이 됨.emove effectively radioactivity with in Adsorbent. This mouse calvarial defected model is frequently used for new scaffold development in the bone regeneration. Most experiments are carried out in this way by measuring the bone regeneration of mouse calvaria defected area. As a next step, hematoxylin and eosin staining is analyzed by sacrificing mice On the other hand, the quantitative analysis for bone regeneration is carried out by micro computed tomography. However, there are several drawbacks with the micro computed tomography. That is, it takes a long time and it is quite expensive for bone regeneration quantitative analysis. This study was performed by simply measuring the quantity of bone regeneration in mouse clavaira defected area on two-dimensional digital x-ray images via Image J. Consequentially, this experimental method by using J program might help bio-technologist researcher regarding new bone regeneration by comparing the quantity of bone regeneration quickly and precisely as well.
