The authors examine the characteristics of the counter public sphere during the late Chosun era based on three dimensions: historical, ideological, and analytical. The counter public sphere during the late Chosun era was a lively communicative sphere where the common people, who resisted the premodern ideas and foreign power, tried to overcome the oppressing social and political environment. Although the counter public sphere did not continue to grow during the Japanese colonization era, it provided a basis of the independence movement and the ideological ground for the democratic movement today.

Objectives : Purpose of this study is to suggest a diagnostic definition of Chest bind(結胸) in GangpyeongShnghanlun 15 letters provision. Methods : Using The Etymology Dictionary of Chinese Characters, we interpreted the meaning of Chest bind(結胸) and symptoms on 134th provision of Shanghanlun. Results : The meaning of Chest bind is endurance of worries. Symptoms on 134th provision can be interpreted as follows. Worrywart person whose behavior is dilatory, who suffer from an inferiority complex, feel pressure on chest, feel heavy with worries, unstable, talkative, suffer from a feeling of anger, think himself as fallen into a trap, feel always nervous and is stubborn can be in a situation of Chest bind. Conclusions : Chest bind is one of the Names of disease in Shanghanlun. The Name of disease has its own meaning that can be used as diagnostic evidence. Further studies are needed to verify a hypothesis of diagnostic definition of Chest bind.

Objective : The objective of this study is to report a case of atopic dermatitis (AD) treated with Hoeyeok-tang. Methods : We retrospectively reviewed the course of herbal medicine treatment in a 20-year-old male patient with a topic dermatitis. Changes in main symptoms were confirmed based on the gross findings and assessed using SCORing Atopic Dermatitis(SCORAD) Index. Accompanying symptoms and side effects that can be referred to for diagnosis were analyzed By referring to the clinical records. Results : According to the Shanghanlun provision, the patient's AD was diagnosed with Terminal-yin Gwakran 389^th provision. The patient was treated with Hoeyeok-tang for 90 days. The severity of pruritus decreased, and SCORAD Index was decreased from 44.6 to 8.4. VAS for eye fatigue and nausea was decreased from 10 to 5, also. No particular side effects occurred to the patient while taking the Hoeyeok-tang. Conclusions : The result suggests the clinical applicability of 389^th provision of Shanghanlun.

This study sought to identify the causal relationship between variables through empirical analysis between Chinese female consumers' beauty SNS marketing, brand image, and brand attitude. Through the results of this study, it was confirmed that a causal relationship exists between each variable. In particular, it was confirmed that interactivity, a sub-factor of beauty SNS marketing, is a key factor influencing the variables of brand image and brand attitude. In addition, accessibility, a sub-factor of beauty SNS marketing, is also an important factor affecting brand image and brand attitude. It was confirmed that vitality and informativeness are important factors influencing brand image and brand attitude in that order.

Objective : The objective of this study was to explore the meaning of Mai (脉) in the fifteen letters provisions of Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun through the comparative analysis of 10 cases and paleography. Methods : We have collected 10 cases that have been diagnosed and treated by Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun Mai (脉) provision. And then, comparative analysis has been done among those 10 cases. Based on result of case analysis, paleographic meaning of each Mai (脉) have been studied to redefine Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun Mai (脉)'s meaning. Results : After administration of Mai (脉) provision's herbal medicine, all 10 patients recovered their mobility problem and pain. From this result, we could fomulate the hypothesis that Mai (脉) in Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun could mean mobility problems. After through further paleography studies, we could elaborate each Mai (脉)'s clinical meaning and related diseases. Conclusions : Mai (脉) in Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun could mean mobility problems caused by various diseases, which include musculoskeletal pain, neuropathy, syncope, fatigue, developmental disability and major depressive disorder.

Color rendition method is necessary for improving the low contrast images which are achieved by PDA, mobile phone camera or PC camera. There are some methods for color rendition. However, after correcting the color, image quality degradations, such as graying-out, halo-artifact and color noise, may occur. In order to overcome these problems, this paper proposes a retinex-based color rendition method. The proposed method uses the HSV color coordinate system to avoid the graying-out, and the advanced image formation model to reduce the halo-artifact in which the image is divided into three components as the global illumination, the local illumination, and reflectance. The experiment results show that the proposed method yields better performance of color correction over the conveniently method.

A house in the traditional Korean living had a shape without shape containing all the acts, emotions, and reason of a human being and was an integrated whole creating a life by involving in all the diverse acts. In this vein, a good house for the Asian people should emotion to make the residents healthy rather than comfortable and have its own life constantly changing, exercising, and creating and circulating ch'i(氣). This study presents a house design plan with the focus on the circulation of ch'i(氣) in order to create a space for a healthy body and free spirit. By approaching ch'i from the two aspects of spirit and body, the ways were examined to make a house be full of ch'i and breathe itself as if it were alive along with humans. And the case of Jungam's design process was illustrated.

The fish fauna and population of Zacco koreanus in the upper region of the Gapyeong Stream was investigation from April, 2005 to August, 2009. The collected species during the survey period were 16 species belonging to 6 families. Dominant species was Z. koreanus and subdominant species was Pungtungia herzi. korea endemic species were Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpa, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Hemibarbus mylodon, Gobiobotia brevibarba, Microphysogobio longidorsalls, Z. koreanus, Koreocobitis rotundicaudata, Iksookimia koreensis, Silorus microdorsalis, Liobagrus andersoni, Coreoperca herzi and Odontobutis platycephala, which showed a ratio of 75 % in all collected species. The species of H. mylodon was identified as natural monument, and P. tenuicorpa and G. brevibarba were endangered species. Length-weight relationship in the population of Z. koreanus was 3.44, and condition factor in the popuation was 0.004. The spawning season of Zacco koreanus was May and June.

The Ichthyofauna and fish community were studied in the lower course of Imjin River from April 2003 to October 2004. During the survey period 80 species belonging to 23 families were collected. Twenty-five species (31.1%) of them were Korean endemic species. Exotic fishes were Carassius cuvieri, Lepomis macrochirus and Micropterus salmoides, and they complied 1.3% of total catch. The species of Hemibarbus mylodon was identified as natural monument, and acheilognathus signifer, Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpa, Gobiobotia macrocephala and Gobiobotia brevibarba were endangered species. Migration fish were Coilia ectens, Anguilla japonica, Plecoglossus altivelis and Takifugu obscurus. Dominant species were Zacco platypus (St. 1), Microphysogobio yaluensis (St. 2), Hemibarbus labeo (St. 3, 4) and coilia ectens (St. 5). The lower course of Imjin River was more abundance of species, high diversity and richness, and lower dominance index than those of the lower course of Han River.

Digital signage takes the role of promotion, providing information, art and game as it is installed in various forms everywhere such as the road, subway and indoor space we pass through. The related researches also focus on the technology of realizing digital signage, current industrial state and prospect in most cases. On the contrary, the researches on the spaciality of digital signage is a kind of insufficient, this study was carried out based on the judgment that there is necessity of researching it in respect that the recognition of space by the people in there is different before and after digital signage is located in such space. First, in order to understand digital signage, its concept, type and kind were investigated, general theories about the spaciality were considered after that, the spaciality of digital signage was grasped by 5 factors such as hybridity, vitality, mobility, flexibility, and contingency and their characteristics were offered in this study. In its conclusion, it was appealed that the change of spatial recognition along media and continuous research are required as digital signage is the transactive space.
