  • 목재의 섬유방향에 경사진 균열의 모-드I과 모-드II의 혼합모-드파괴시의 파괴거동을 조사하기 위하여 라왕(Shorea Spp.)의 LA시스템에 있어서 서로 다른 경사각도를 가진 SEN시험편(Single edge notch specimen)에 대하여 휨 시험을 행하였다. 얻이진 결과는 혼합모-드파괴시, 모-드I응력확대계수$K_I$과 모-드II응력확대계수$K_II$간에 일정한 상호작용이 존재한다는 것을 나타내었다. 또한, 모-드I과 모-드II의 임계응력확대계수(Critical stress intensity factor) $K_{IC}$$K_{IIC}$ 이용하여 혼합모-드파괴시의 $K_I$$K_II$간의 상호관계를 규정할 수 있었으며, 이미 보고된 여러 실험식과 본 실험결과를 비교하여 가장 적합한 관계로서 아래와 같은 관계를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In the seismic analysis of structures, where the dynamic soil-structure interaction (DSSI) is considred, earthquake input motions as well as dynamic soil properties are random in nature. To take into account the random nature of both the input motions and the dynamic soil properties systematically, a probabilistic analysis of the DSSI subjected to seismic loading is proposed in this paper, The complex response method formulized by the elastic half space theory, the random vibration theory, and the Rosenblueth's two-point estimate method are combined for the proposed probabilistic analysis. The conclusions drawn from this study are as follows ' 1) The uncertainty bands of the earthquake input motions proposed by Kanai-Tajimi as well as those of the dynamic properties are large the coefecients of variation of those parameters tinge from 0.4 to 0.6. 2) The uncertainties of the dynamic soil properties are more sensitive to the structural responses than those of the input motion parameters. 3) The effect of correlations between the input motion parameters and the dynamic soil properties is negligible.

  • This paper suggests a novel approach of integrating the quasi-distributed watershed model SWAT with the fully-distributed groundwater model MODFLOW. Since the SWAT model has semi distributed features, its groundwater components hardly considers distributed parameters such as hydraulic conductivity and storage coefficient. Generating a detailed representation of groundwater recharge, head distribution and pumping rate is equally difficult. To solve these problems, the method of exchanging the characteristics of the hydrologic response units (HRUs) in SWAT with cells in MODFLOW by fully combined manner is proposed. The linkage is completed by considering the interaction between the stream network and the aquifer to reflect boundary flow. This approach is provisionally applied to Gyungancheon basin in Korea. The application demonstrates a combined model which enables an interaction between saturated zones and channel reaches. This interaction plays an essential role in the runoff generation in the Gyungancheon basin. The comprehensive results show a wide applicability of the model which represents the temporal-spatial groundwater head distribution and recharge.

  • A valveless pump consisting of a pumping chamber with an elastic tube was simulated using an immersed boundary method. The interaction between the motion of the elastic tube and the pumping chamber generated a net flow toward the outlet through a full cycle of the pump. The net flow rate of the valveless pump was examined by varying the stretching coefficient, bending coefficient, and aspect ratio of the elastic tube. Photographs of the fluid velocity vectors and the wave motions of the elastic tube were examined over one cycle of the pump to gain a better understanding of the mechanism underlying the valveless pump. The relationship between the gap in the elastic tube and the average flow rate of the pump was analyzed.

  • According to the researches of robot and software agent until now, computational emotion model is dependent on system, so it is hard task that emotion models is separated from existing systems and then recycled into new systems. Therefore, I introduce the Engine of computational Emotion model (shall hereafter appear as EE) to integrate with any robots or agents. This is the engine, ie a software for independent form from inputs and outputs, so the EE is Emotion Generation to control only generation and processing of emotions without both phases of Inputs(Perception) and Outputs(Expression). The EE can be interfaced with any inputs and outputs, and produce emotions from not only emotion itself but also personality and emotions of person. In addition, the EE can be existed in any robot or agent by a kind of software library, or be used as a separate system to communicate. In EE, emotions is the Primary Emotions, ie Joy, Surprise, Disgust, Fear, Sadness, and Anger. It is vector that consist of string and coefficient about emotion, and EE receives this vectors from input interface and then sends its to output interface. In EE, each emotions are connected to lists of emotional experiences, and the lists consisted of string and coefficient of each emotional experiences are used to generate and process emotional states. The emotional experiences are consisted of emotion vocabulary understanding various emotional experiences of human. This study EE is available to use to make interaction products to response the appropriate reaction of human emotions. The significance of the study is on development of a system to induce that person feel that product has your sympathy. Therefore, the EE can help give an efficient service of emotional sympathy to products of HRI, HCI area.

  • Railway signaling system in a rapid transit using the ATC system the approved a speed limit to a train and a part of signaling system in a metro approved a distance which is possible to move. Referring to the way of transmitting train control information, there are the one transmitting it to the on-board system of a train using the direct track, the another transmitting it establishing an instrument, and the other transmitting an instrument by a railway track. The one is the method using the direct track as a conductor for composing the part of the track and attaining the information controlling a train by transmitting a signal to the track. It is used for the high-speed railway and the subway. The method using the track attains information by transmitting it to returned information, and the on-board system of a train attains it by magnetic coupling. Because many reinforcing bars on the concrete slab track are used, interaction between a rail and a reinforcing bar that is not produced on ballast track is made. Due to the interaction, the electric characteristic of rail is changed. In the current paper, we numerically computed the coupling coefficient between the rail and the reinforcing bar based on the concrete slab track throughout the model related to the rail and the reinforcing bar using the concrete slab track that is used in the second interval of the Gyeongbu high-speed railway, and we defined the coupling coefficient not changed in the electric characteristic of rail in the condition that there is no interaction between the rail and the reinforcing bar.

Calculation of TDR Sensor Coefficient through Measurement of Soil Sample (토양시료 측정을 통한 TDR 센서 계수 보정)

  • 토양수분은 생태수문학에서 식생과의 상호작용의 중요한 인자이자, 대기와의 상호작용으로 인한 총체적인 물 순환에 밀접한 관련이 있다. 수문학적으로는 증발, 침투, 지하수 함량, 토양 침식, 식생 분포 등을 지배하는 중요한 요소이고, 특히 시 공간적 분포특성은 강수 사상 후 토양으로의 침투 및 토양수분의 재분포, 증발산과 불포화대에서의 오염물의 이송을 예측하는데 매우 중요하다. 또한, '07년 하천법 개정으로 증발산량 및 토양수분량이 신규 수문조사 항목으로 추가되어, 토양수분 측정에 대한 필요성이 높아졌다. 따라서, 2008년 5월, K-water연구원에서는 현재 시험유역으로 운영하고 있는 용담시험유역에 토양수분관측망(6개 관측소)을 구축하였다. 토양수분계는 토양수분을 결정하는 가장 중요한 인자인 강우자료의 획득이 이루어지는 지점에 설치하여 정확도와 신뢰도를 높일 수 있도록 용담시험 유역 내 6개 우량관측소에 설치하였다. 하지만 장비의 노후화에 따른 자료 취득의 어려움으로 인하여 2013년 4월, 토양수분계를 전면 교체하였다. 토양수분계는 기존의 FDR 방식에서 EC 농도에 대한 영향이 가장 적고, 플럭스 타워에 위치한 토양수분계 센서와 동일한 TDR 방식의 센서로 장비를 전면 교체하였다. 센서 설치 장소 변경에 따른 TDR 센서의 검증과 그리고 흙의 종류, 입도, 다짐도, 온도 등에 의한 오차가 발생 여부를 판단하기 위하여 이에 대한 보정을 실시하였다. 원지반 시료채취를 통하여 토양수분량을 측정하였고, TDR 센서에 의해 측정된 토양수분량과 채취된 시료에서 측정된 토양수분량의 결과를 비교하였고, 각 지점별 토양구성비와 전기전도도 조건을 고려하여 각 토층별 계수적용을 달리하여 센서 보정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 기존 센서 제조사에서 제안한 방정식을 그대로 사용하는 것 보다는 센서 검증을 통하여 얻은 계수보정에 의한 토양수분 변환식을 사용하는 것이 정확한 현장 자료를 확보할 수 있고, 신뢰도 높은 자료를 얻을 수 있다고 판단된다.

  • 본 논문에서는 지반-구조물 상호작용계의 입력하중과 강성에 관련된 물성값들을 구조물에서 계측된 지진응답만을 사용하여 효과적으로 추정할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안하였는데, 제안된 방법은 비지계수 추정을 위한 목적함수가 입력하중에 독립적이기 때문에 구조물에서 계측된 지진응답만으로 미지계수의 추정이 가능하도록 되어있다. 본 연구에서 제안된 방법의 검증은 국제공동 연구의 일환으로 최근 대만의 화련에 건설된 대형지진시험 구조물에서 계측된 지진 응답을 사용하여 수행하였다. 추정된 입력하중과 지반과 구조물의 강성에 관련된 물성값들을 사용하여 계산된 지진응답의 계측치와 매우 잘 일치하여, 추정결과의 타당성을 검증할 수 있었다.

Interaction Analysis between Waves and Caissons by Damping Zone Effect for Installing New Caisson on Old Caisson Breakwater (기존 케이슨방파제에 신규 케이슨 추가설치 시 댐핑존 영향에 따른 유체와 케이슨들간의 상호작용 평가)

  • The design and construction are carried out to improve the structural stability of caisson breakwaters by installing new caissons on the front or rear of old caissons. The wave forces acting on caisson are excessively calculated by the resonance of fluid existing between the old caisson and the new caisson in the numerical analysis using potential flow. In this study, we used the damping zone option in ANSYS AQWA program to analyze the wave forces acting on individual caissons according to the interaction effects between the incident wave and the caisson. By applying the damping zone option to the fluid in which resonance occurs, the wave forces acting on individual caissons were calculated by the change of damping factor. In addition, the wave force characteristics acting on individual caissons were analyzed for the different distances between caissons in the frequency domain analysis.

  • In order to dispose radioactive wastes safely, it is needed to understand the mechanical, thermal, fluid behavior of rockmass and physico-chemical interactions between rockmass and water. Also, the knowledge about mechanical and hydraulic properties of rocks is required to predict and to model many conditions of geological structure, underground in-situ stress, folding, hot water interaction, intrusion of magma, plate tectonics etc. This study is based on researches about rock mechanics issues associated with a waste disposal in deep rockmass. This paper includes the mechanical and hydraulic behavior of rocks in varying temperature conditions, thermo-hydro-mechanical coupling analysis in rock mass and deformation behavior of discontinuous rocks. The mechanical properties were measured with Interaken rock mechanics testing systems and hydraulic properties were measured with transient pulse permeability measuring systems. In all results, rock properties were sensitive to temperature variation.
