In an environment of home network where a number of technologies including heterogeneous hardware platforms, networking and protocols, middleware systems, and etc, exist, OSGi provides a platform for deployment and sharing of services managed in hardware and guarantees compatibility among applications. However, only simple control and processing of event data are considered in a home network using OSGi, and the consideration about real time processing of data stream generated by sensors is not enough. Therefore, researches allowing users to effectively develop OSGi applications by using various kinds of sensors generating data streams in the home network environment using OSGi are needed. In this paper, we propose an effective method of processing various types of real time data streams supplied to OSGi applications, including filtering, grouping, and counting, etc.

This study aims to evaluate the industrial cluster policy implemented in Korea during the last decade or so, examine whether it can still be a valid policy measure in the creative economy regime, and propose policy directions for the future. It is evaluated that the cluster policy has contributed to increasing productivity by improving networks between companies, universities and research centers and thus strengthening innovation infrastructure. The policy, however, by its characteristics of government-domination, failed to develop open-ended and flexible spontaneous clusters. Industrial clusters have the capability to contribute to the virtuous circle of creative economy by enhancing creativity and innovativeness, and subsequently by increasing value-added. In order to maximize these positive effects, a few suggestions are made, including being faithful to the very nature of clusters, e.g. geographical proximity and connectedness, intending clusters with creativity well maintained, orienting toward multi-scalar clusters with a mixture of local and global perspectives, and matching regional and industrial policies with regards to clusters.

This study tries to feel out the possibility of experimental areas of architecture which is becoming urbanization gradually through practical issues of landscape urbanism. According to this study, it is affirmed that the practical issues of landscape urbanism such as process in time, Potential territoriality of surface, practical methodology and socio-cultural imagination already have rome into the architectural area over urbanism. This is presented as characteristics of detail issues through relational density on the matrix of landscape urbanism, traces of the general landscape concepts and architectural landscapeconcepts. As a result, these practical issues and detail architectural strategies constitute the important spatial characteristics of contemporary architecture.

We present the concept of applying Wireless Mesh Networking (WMN) technology into Smart Grid, which is recently rising as a potential technology in various areas thanks to its advantages such as low installation costs, high scalability, and high flexibility. Smart Grid is an intelligent, next-generation electrical power network that can maximize energy efficiency by monitoring utility information in real-time and controlling the flow of electricity with IT communications technology converged to the existing power grid. WMNs must be designed for Smart Grid communication systems considering not only the high level of reliability, QoS support and mass-data treatment but also the properties of the traditional power grid. In addition, it is essential to design techniques based on international standards to support interoperability and scalability. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of IEEE 802.11s based Smart Grid Mesh Networks by conducting preliminary simulation studies with the ns-3 simulator. We also outline some challenging issues that should be reviewed when considering WMNs as the candidate for Smart Grid communication infrastructure.

This study analyzed the cases of online art museum education based on the core competency of Jenkins' new media literacy to supplement the limitations of online art museum education programs. The core competency of media education suggested by Jenkins can serve as a reference point for an online art museum content. For the case analysis, 4 museums were selected as the domestic art museum, and 4 as the overseas art museum. The results of analysis based on new media literacy are as follows. In the case of overseas art museums, content for mutual communication such as video conferencing and commenting at the bottom of the site page was constructed, but domestic online art museums lacked these elements. Therefore, there is a need to improve core competency of appropriation, networking, negotiation, distributed cognition, and collective intelligence by organizing communication content.

In this paper, a system with sensor network security mechanism which can be applied to home network structure is designed and it is implemented on a virtual network of a home network middleware. The basic structure of home networking middleware supports one-to-one (unicast) or broadcast communication mode between the lookup server and service nodes on the network. Confidentiality and authentication are key security factors of the one-to-one communication and user authentication is crucial for broadcasting mode. One of the sensor network's security techniques SPINS consists of SNEP and ${\mu}TESLA$. The SNEP ensures confidentiality and authentication, and ${\mu}TESLA$ provides broadcast authentication. We propose a SPIN based home network middleware and it is implemented by using the CBC-MAC for MAC generation, the counter mode (CTR) for message freshness, the pseudo random function (PRF) and RC5 as encryption algorithm. The implementation result shows that an attacker cannot decrypt the message though he gets the secure key because of CTR mode. In addition, we confirmed that a received message of the server is authenticated using MAC.

Because the 'Internet of Things' and sensor network technology have become a new generation industry competitiveness with a development of Information Communication Technology, each local autonomous entity is trying to adopt a Smart City quickly. This requires an integrated platform inside of a smart city operation center. Established Smart City platform provides various services using CCTV information and ITS transportation information based on a two-dimensional map. The provision of advanced Smart City services will necessitate three-dimensional map information, building and facilities unit information, linked information with public data portal for service to the public. In this paper, the authors reviewed development trends of Smart City integrated platform and proposed mashup methods between BIM/GIS interoperability platform and external open data. BIM/GIS platform can provide spatial information services for indoor and outdoor seamlessly because it was developed based on GIS spatial data with BIM data. The linked external open data are V-World data, Seoul Open Data, and Architectural Data Open. Finally, the authors proposed the direction of development for BIM/GIS integrated platform to provide advanced Smart City services.

Recently, the computing has developing in distributed object computing environment for supporting a programming paradigm of distributed application requiring interoperability between heterogeneous clients and servers. It involves the complex networking and the object-oriented technologies for various multimedia application service. In this paper, we construct the real-time object group platform for solving the difficulties of managements of distributed objects and the real-time constraints by requiring for real-time service supporting of applications in distributed computing environment. The existing researches are being tried to only improving the performance of systems by using real-time CORBA itself, or modifying the part of CORBA compliance. Hence, we design a new model of real-time object group platform that can support the real-time requirement without modifying the ORB. The structure of our real-time object group analyzed and defined the requirement about object management and real-time application service sides. And the role of the components of real-time object group is divided into 2 classes for reducing the side effect of interoperability between management and service. Also, we considered how to transparently express the parameters of real-time properties for clients and developers of server's service objects. If the expression of real-time parameters is transparent, then the developer can easily extend the real-time parameters simply and flexibly. Therefore, in this paper we defined the role of components of platform and described functions of each component and designed and then implemented the real-time object group platform. Finally, we showed the execution procedures of implemented our platform for verifying the functionality.
