  • 선형 시스템에 대한 Lyapunov 함수의 구성법은 잘 알려져 있으나, 비선형 시스템의 Lyapunov 함수 구성법은 아직 체계화되어 있지 못하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는, 비선형 시스템의 안전도 해석을 위하여, 종래의 정상상태 부근에서 Taylor 전개에 의한 선형화 기법에 의존하지 않고, 비선형 시스템을 나타내는 상태공간의 활동성 모델로부터, 비선형성을 나타내는 항을 분리하여, 특수행렬변환시킴으로서, 선형 시스템의 Lyapunov 함수 구성법을 살린, 행렬다항식형 Lyapunov 함수를 구성하고, 이를 유도전동기의 안전도 해석에 적용시켰다. 그 결과, 구해진 안정영역은, 선형화에 의한 것보다는 훨씬 넓은 초공간으로 표현되는 유도전동기의 점근안정영역이 되었다.

  • A deadlock is a condition in which the excessive demand for the resources being used by others causes activities to stop and it is one of the important problems in process control system to detect and prevent deadlocks. While the reachability analyze methods or divide subnets for analyzing methods are well used, it requires a lot of times and effects to analyze the detection of the deadlock status. Furthermore, it could not be effective if the model is complex or huge. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a new and more efficient deadlock detection algorithm. In this paper, a deadlock detection conditions after analyzed the Petri Net using the transitive matrix has been proposed to solve these problems. For presenting the results, the suggested deadlock detection algorithm was also adapted to an illustrated FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System) model.

  • Most hard disk drives that apply the ramp load/unload technology unload the heads at the outer edge of the disk while the disk is rotating. During the unloading process, slider-disk contacts may occur by lift-off force and rebound of the slider. The main issue of this paper is to prevent the slider-disk contact by changing the state matrix. Because the state matrix is related to the suspension and slider, to change the state matrix means the structural change of the suspension and slider. We investigate influence for variation of the state matrix components and analyze the relation between the state matrix and the suspension/slider.

  • Deadlock usually appears in contain subsystem which is run in parallel and resources share modules. Siphons and traps have been well introduced to characterize deadlocks of Petri nets. Siphon concept be well used for proposing the detect and prevent deadlock by the pleasure researchers. But it's need many times and efforts to detect all siphon sub-nets in the Petri model. Since transitive matrix could explain all relations between the place and transitions in Petri nets, we propose an algorithm to detect all siphon sub-nets after analyzed the transitive matrix's properties. Examples are givens to illustrate the method.

  • Operator technique has been applied for calculation of the quadrupole moment matrix-elements. Master formulas for the quadrupole moment matrix elements for pairs of Slater type, orbitals are derived, one using the expansion method for spherical harmonics and the other the transformed of the quadrupole moment matrix elements into overlap integrals for Mulliken. The numerical values of the quadrupole moment matrix elements evaluated by two methods are in agreement with each other and the calculated quadrupole moment for the ground state of HCl molecule is also in agreement with that of Nesbet.

  • In general, the stability and response characteristics of the system can be improved by changing the pole position because a nonlinear system can be linearized by the product of a 1st and 2nd order system. Therefore, a controller that moves the pole can be designed in various ways. Among the other methods, LQ control ensures the stability of the system. On the other hand, it is difficult to specify the location of the pole arbitrarily because the desired response characteristic is obtained by selecting the weighting matrix by trial and error. This paper evaluated a method of selecting a weighting matrix of LQ control that moves multiple double poles with Jordan blocks to real poles. The relational equation between the double poles and weighting matrices were derived from the characteristic equation of the Hamiltonian system with a diagonal control weighting matrix and a state weighting matrix represented by two variables (ρd, ϕd). The Moving-Range was obtained under the condition that the state-weighting matrix becomes a positive semi-definite matrix. This paper proposes a method of selecting poles in this range and calculating the weighting matrices by the relational equation. Numerical examples are presented to show the usefulness of the proposed method.

Determination of Minimum Spacing between Off-ramp Terminus and Intersection Considering the Influence of Adjacent Signalized Intersections (신호교차로 영향에 따른 도시고속도로 유출연결로 최소이격거리에 관한 연구)

  • The interchanges of urban freeways have many problems with traffic operation due to high off-ramp flows and frequent congestion at adjacent intersections. The flow exiting from off-ramps is affected by the operational status and traffic volume conditions of the nearest signalized intersection. As a result, off-ramp flow cannot exit and the queue backs up the freeway mainline when queues from the signalized intersection form up to the junction of the off-ramp and street. The spacing between an off-ramp and an adjacent intersection is likely to determine the traffic conditions at the adjacent intersection. However, the current design guidelines do not consider such a factor. This study is to develop a model calculating the spacing between off-ramps and adjacent intersections considering the signal, traffic, and road conditions. The variables affecting the model in this study are effective green time (g/C), volume-capacity ratio (v/c), the number of lanes, and off-ramp volume. Various scenarios are designed to represent the effects of the variables and the road networks are constructed using VISSIM, which is a common traffic micro-simulation software package. The queue length is derived from VISSIM and this length is considered as the recommended spacing between the off-ramp and the adjacent intersection. Through the simulation analysis, regression models are developed to calculate the queue length reflecting the various conditions such as signals, traffic, and road configurations. The developed model can be used to create road design guidelines to determine the location of off-ramps in the planning stage.

  • 본 논문은 관측기 기반 시스템에 대한 강인 디지털 재설계 방안을 제안한다. 디지털 재설계란, 기존의 안정화된 연속시간 플랜트와 이산 시간에서 설계된 디지털 제어기와의 상태 접합 및 안정도 분석을 통해 전체 시스템을 재구성 하는 것을 말한다. 그리고 전 역적 접근을 위한 방안으로서 문제를 볼록 최적화 관점으로 변환 후, 에러가 가질 수 있는 놈의 영역을 최소화 하여 상태 접합을 이루고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 관측기 기반 시스템에 대한 디지털 재설계를 목표로 하되, 추가적인 파라미터 불확실성을 고려한 강인 디지털 재설계를 구성하게 된다. 파라미터 불확실성은 이산화 과정에서 구조적 형태가 변화하기 때문에, 이를 고려하여 주어진 식을 선형 행렬 부등식 형태로 나타내게 된다. 이 조건들을 통해 디지털 재설계의 상태 접합 및 안정도가 유도 가능하다는 것을 본 논문에서 증명하게 된다.
