Development and Effectiveness of Counseling Manual for Community-based Visiting Nursing (맞춤형 방문건강관리사업 상담매뉴얼 개발과 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and analyze the effectiveness of an education program counseling manual (EPCM) for community-based visiting nurses. Methods: Seventy-eight of community-based visiting nurses was enrolled in this study. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the ${\chi}^2$-test, and the paired t-test in SPSS version 18.0. Results: Nurses had higher mean scores for counselor activity self-efficacy: skill self-efficacy, session management self-efficacy and counseling challenges self-efficacy, after EPCM than before EPCM. Significant differences were found after applying the EPCM. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the EPCM is effective at improving counselor self-efficacy of community-based visiting nurses.

Exploration of Duty System and Needs Assessment in Lifelong Learning Counseling Practice (평생교육 담당자의 평생학습상담 직무 탐색 및 요구도 분석)

  • This study aims to explore the duty system of the lifelong learning counseling, and to analyze the needs of counseling practice which are conceived by lifelong education practitioners. Based on the related prior studies, the duty system of lifelong learning counseling was investigated and classified. Also, differences of how to recognize the importance of counseling job and how to practice counseling are assessed by Borich method. After data were collected by practitioners from lifelong education field, the dependent t-test and the Borich needs assessment formula were used for analysis of the collected data. The results are as follows: the 4 subdivided duties of lifelong learning counseling are formation of relationship, learner's analysis, learning promotion, and follow-up management. The 11 tasks are learner's interview, providing learning information, analysis of learner's characteristics and needs, learning level diagnosis, diagnosis of learning inhibiting factors, promotion of learning motivation, advice of learning course and learning method, support of study circle activity, career planning counseling, follow-up counseling, and counseling evaluation. According to the needs assessment, learner's analysis is conceived as the most important duty among the 4 sub-duties, and learner's analysis is regarded as second important duty by the counseling practitioners. Among the 11 tasks, providing learning information is the most important tasks among counseling practitioners, and analysis of learner's characteristics and needs is followed as second task. The duty system of the lifelong learning counseling and needs assessment data can be used as the basic data for lifelong education practitioners to conduct the duty of lifelong learning counseling efficiently and to support the lifelong learning plan according to learner's characteristics.

  • 정보화 시대를 맞이하여 교육의 중요성이 커지면서 교사의 주 업무인 교과 업무 외에 다른 업무가 증가하고 있다. 그 중 하나인 학생 상담은 과거의 가정방문 기간까지 사라져 교사들이 큰 어려움을 느끼는 것 중 하나이며, 학생의 학교 상담에 대한 신뢰도와 참여율이 낮아서 신뢰도와 참여율을 높이는 방안이 요구되고 있다. 기존에 연구 되던 상담시스템의 개발은 거의 모든 부분이 진학이나 진로 상담 위주로 개발되어 왔으며, 정작 중요한 학생의 생활 상담에 대한 연구는 제대로 이루어지지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구는 시간과 여건의 부족으로 학생에 대하여 문제아 학생이나 특수 학생의 상담위주로만 행해지던 생활 상담의 혜택을 일반 학생들에게도 줄 수 있고, 교사의 시간적인 효율성을 높이며 학생의 상담에 대한 부담감등의 해소와 학생에 다양한 정보 활용 등 상담 도우미 시스템의 요구사항, 설계 및 구현에 대하여 논한다.

  • 기존의 웹 기반 상담 시스템은 상담 설문을 제작 시 매번 웹마스터에게 설문 문항을 등록하도록 요구하여, 즉각적인 상담 설문 제작에 있어 어려움이 많았다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 데이터베이스를 기반으로 동적인 상담 문항 게시 기능과 누적된 학생들의 상담 결과를 분석할 수 있는 웹기반 청소년 상담 시스템을 설계하고 이를 실제로 구현하는데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 실존주의적 교육이론에 기반하여 교육 주체간의 인격적 만남에 기반하여 함께 청소년의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 소통의 장을 마련하고자 하였다.

Analysis of Psychological Counseling Requirement of Small Business Owners according to Psychological Exhaustion, Work-Family Conflicts, and Business-Related Anxiety (소상공인 창업자의 심리적 탈진, 일-가정 갈등, 사업운영 불안에 따른 상담요구 분석)

  • This study was carried out to analyze the effect of psychological burnout, work-family conflict, business-related anxiety on counseling requirement for small business owners. To achieve the research purpose, a survey was executed on small 100 business owners doing business in Chung-nam Province including whole and retail sellers, food and lodging establishments, service providers and manufacturers for five weeks from Jan. 1, 2016 through Jan. 312, 2016. All the questionnaires distributed were used for final analysis using SPSS V22. Study findings are as follows: first, most small business owners were found to have had counseling experience; second, no difference was shown in psychological burnout in terms of general characteristics of survey respondents; third, it is found that small business owners with shorter operation career want more counseling opportunity; fourth, it was analyzed that for any counseling service for small business owners, publicity efforts on the availability of counseling service must be precedented; fifth, it was also analyzed that to support small business owners counseling service should be provided in various areas including inter-psychological elements like emotion, conflict with spouse and children. Such findings may lead to a possible conclusion that counseling service can contribute to the success and survival of small business owners both at home and work place.

A Study on the Analysis of Consultation Needs of SMEs through Big-Data (빅데이터 분석을 활용한 중소기업의 상담요구 분석)

  • This study was conducted to identify the contents of major consulting needs of SMEs using Big Data and to suggest the efficiency of operation. The subjects of the study were counseling cases posted on the website of the Business Support Center of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. To do this, from 2009 to March 2018, we crawled about 7,000 cases of counseling cases, followed by word cloud analysis centering on effective keyword. The main results were as follows: First, the frequency of counseling cases in each field was found in the order of establishment, management strategy, human resources, financial order. Second, in word cloud analysis, the most frequent keyword related to counseling demand were small businesses, exports, methods, procedures, registration and authentication. In this study, we obtained research results that we can improve the efficiency of the policy in real time from a new point of view by conducting big data analysis on public policy.

A Study on Elementary Students' Counseling Services and Needs for Counseling & Their Troubles -the case of elementary schools in Jeollabukdo (초등학생의 상담 실태와 상담요구 및 고민문제 탐색 -전라북도를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the counseling services in elementary school, to analyze counseling needs and the degree of distress or worry, and to provide desirable for counseling. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the questionnaire as a research tool was used for the respondents, 476 elementary school students in Jeollabukdo. The results were as follows: First, there is a shortage of counseling or its guidance, an experienced counselor, and room for the students. Most of the counseling was taken place only when home room teacher thinks counseling is needed. Second, the students wanted a counselor to listen and understand their problems, preferred women teacher as a counselor, and needed personal advice after class. Third, the degree of worry was higher on female students with siblings, single father, Grade 6, and the low scores. Fourth, each area of worry of the elementary school students showed a positive correlation. The results of this study showed that it is needed to reexamine the administrative and institutional contents and develop a variety of counseling program in order to put the counseling in the elementary school to practical use.

  • This study investigated the current status and needs of career counseling based on the student's perception of specialized vocational high school in Daejeon. The main purpose of this study is to provide the future direction and improvement strategies of career counseling in specialized vocational high school through the evaluation of current situation and student's needs. The analysis results of this study are as follows. First, most of students decided their admission into a specialized vocational high school when they were three grades in middle school. It indicates that career counseling teacher plays important roles during that time. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen the ability of career counseling teachers and to develop the various programs to seek student's aptitude and talent from the period of middle school. Second, since most of career counseling takes place primarily with class teacher, professional counseling education for class teachers is required. It also needs to expand the specialized counselors to reduce the overburden of class teachers and develop various counseling programs. Effective group counseling programs as well as one-on-one counseling programs which can help the student's career decision should be developed.

A Study on the Situation and Demand with Nutrition Service in Health Promotion Center (건강검진센터에서의 영양서비스 현황 및 요구도 조사)

  • This study was done to analyze nutrition counseling services in health promotion center and to investigate demands of subjects for nutrition services. Data was collected through the survey of 90 subjects. The results were as follows. The results of people receiving nutrition services showed that 58.5% of the counseling group and 46.4% of the non-counseling group answered having experience with nutrition services. And 50% of them received nutrition counseling through individual counseling. Diet therapy with health check-up results also appeared the highest in contents of nutrition counseling. As a source of nutrition information and health knowledge, subjects relied heavily or most on the TV, internet, books, magazines, and newspapers. On the other hand, they relied much less on advice from dietitians, nutritionists, medical doctors and nurses. The experience of receiving nutrition services and thinking about nutrition education related positively. It showed that the counseling group (95.1%) was significantly higher than the non-counseling group (80.5%) in necessity of nutrition assessment. But, necessity of nutrition counseling wasn't significantly different between the two groups. The method of nutrition counseling subjects preferred was individual consultation. The subjects answered to having need of analysis and evaluation of nutrient intake and calorie prescription in nutrition assessment and individual nutritional status results explanation in nutrition counseling. In conclusion all people visiting health promotion centers need nutrition service of some kind.
