A Study on Development of Improvements to Collaborative Energy Saving Projects with NGO (에너지절약 민간단체 협력사업의 개선방안 연구)

  • Solutions to improve collaborative energy-saving programs were developed as follow; First, the scoring for the selection of the programs between KEMCO and the NGOs' Energy Network needs to be adjusted. Second, solutions were proposed to diversify the network selected to participate in programs and to tighten the network among the participating citizens. Third, improving the compatibility with the targets that are set for the program and raising the program budget was proposed. Fourth, ideas to introduce the final evaluation guidelines for the programs by the network, to improve the convenience of the program procedures. Fifth, developing a manual to inspect energy-saving measures in households, counseling for at-home energy-saving behaviors, sharing search programs such as financial support and home repair, introducing a program energy-saving APPs.

Improvement measures for Satisfaction of Utilization and its' Comparison of Assistive Products in Long-term care Elderly (장기요양노인의 복지용구 이용만족도 비교와 개선방안)

  • This research is focused on improvement of satisfaction of the assistive products, which is used by long term care elderly people. We investigated 1,200 long-term cared elderly and this survey was conducted by care-giver. The average satisfaction of the assistive products are in convenience 3.43, in function and effectiveness 3.33, in safety and secure 3.29 and in adequacy cost compared to effectiveness 2.69. Total average satisfaction of utilization is 3.19. Satisfaction with the use of assistive products in using motivation does not show a statistically significant difference, but in selection factors is a difference to be statistically significant. In conclusion, expert-consulting should be enhanced for the improvement of satisfaction and the provision of assistive products should be expanded in long-term care insuance schemes. Also, the rational index and evaluation method of the satisfaction of the assistive products should be developed through continuous studies.

The Convergence Effect of Oral Health Level on Daily Life of Elderly Women (여성노인의 구강건강 수준이 일상생활에 미치는 융합적인 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of oral health status on daily life of elderly women. The subjects of this study were 142 elderly women aged 60 years or older who were surveyed through questionnaires, interviews, counseling, and oral examinations. The SPSS program was used for frequency analysis, descriptive statistics and regression analysis. The results of the study showed that the number affected on daily life were 1.4 in average and the oral health condition was the highest at scaling (59.4%). When the oral status was unsatisfactory, it was found to be uncomfortable in daily life. In case of oral pain, oral status and poor removal of calculus, the number and frequency in daily life were increased. In conclusion, the oral health of elderly women can improve their daily life ability and affect the quality of life. Therefore, a systematic oral care plan is needed through the expansion of oral health promotion education for elderly women and the development of continuous preventive programs.

U-complaints call center agents organization fairness impact on job performance through organizational commitment and job satisfaction (U-민원 콜센터 상담원 조직 공정성이 조직몰입과 직무만족을 통해 직무성과에 미치는 영향)

  • As improving the life quality of citizen because of development of Urbanization and Information, civil application service of public institutions has been changed. The government provides a 24-hour civil service of e-government, public institutions operate U-complaints call center to pursue a personalized service to customers. As customer service are diversified, the inconvenience of service is increased. Therefore, public institutions instituted U-complaints call center to solve increased complaints. In early days, public institutions operated simple call center. However, it became intelligent U-complaints call center by SNS. The more increase the importance of agents' contact customer service, the more increase Job Performance considered by Organizational Commitment & Job Satisfaction of call center agents. This study analyzed that applied to Fairness Theory with Organizational Commitment, Job Satisfaction and analyze U-complaints call center agents' role and job performance of public institutions. Proposed a research model applied to job satisfaction with key variables, organizational commitments, job satisfaction. It's expected to impact on job performance of U-complaints call center agents in public institutions. For empirical study of research model, conducted a survey of the U-complaints call center agents of public institutions. 170 samples were collected from the survey and analyze relationship between the factors. Procedural justice, distribution fairness, fairness interaction are significant influence on organizational commitment of parameters by analysis U-complaints call center agents. Procedural justice and fairness of interaction was found not to effect on parameters of job satisfaction. Also, parameter, organizational commitment have significant influence on job satisfaction. However, have no influence on job performance. Therefore, the parameters of job satisfaction have significant influence on job performance. Public institutions should adopt to improve the quality of citizen services through U-complaints call center agents.

2007년도 민간단체 금연클리닉 사업 평가

  • 한국건강관리협회는 1998년부터 국민건강증진기금의 지원으로 금연사업을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 협회에서 실시한 '07년 민간단체 금연클리닉 사업을 대상으로 사업의 효과성을 분석하여 사업의 과학적 근거 확보 및 향후 효과적인 사업 수행방안 마련 등 사업의 발전방안을 모색하고자 실시되었다. 대상은 2007년 민간단체 금연클리닉에 참여한 군 경, 중소업체 종사자, 운송업체 종사자, 국방부지정부대 참여자, 학교/공공기관 종사자 중 설문조사에 성실하게 응답한 3,170명이다. 민간단체 금연클리닉 사업 효과성 평가 설계는 구조화된 평가도구를 활용하여 금연클리닉에 참여한 집단만을 대상으로 참여 전(사전조사)과 금연클리닉 종료 후(사후조사)의 조사결과를 비교하는 단일 전후조사 설계(one-group pretest posttest design)방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과 민간단체 금연클리닉 참여자의 하루 평균 흡연량은 15.96개비, 평균 흡연시작연령은 18.59세, 평균 총 흡연기간은 146.39개월로 나타났으며, 참여자의 니코틴 의존도는 평균 3.81점으로 조사되었다. 또한 참여자의 84.5%가 의지로 금연 시도하였으나 실패한 것으로 나타나 이에 대한 개입이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 참여자들의 상황별 흡연욕구는 높은 수준이었으며, 특히 술자리, 스트레스상황 등 특정 상황에서 흡연욕구가 높게 나타났다. 금연관련 경험요인은 5점 기준 2.84점으로 조사되었으며, 인지적 과정이 행동적 과정에 비해 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 민간단체 금연클리닉의 전반적인 만족도는 높았으나 상담환경에 대한 만족도가 상대적으로 낮았음을 감안할 때, 환경적인 부분에 대한 개선이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 더불어 금연클리닉의 효과나 만족도 부분에서 대상자의 특성에 따른 차이가 발생하므로 참여 대상자의 특성을 감안한 맞춤형 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

Health Education and Counseling for Adolescents at Mobile Sexual Health Clinics (성건장 이동클리닉 사업에 대한 청소년의 보건교육 및 상담 만족도)

  • Objectives: This study was performed in order to evaluate the quality of health services provided to the adolescents at mobile health clinics and to improve the services for them, and to figure out knowledge level of adolescents on sex, birth control methods and artificial abortion, and the effect of the knowledge levels those items on sexual behavior. The data obtained will be utilized for sex health education program in the future. Methodology: A total of 2,021 adolescents who visited mobile sexual health clinics in Seoul, Inchon, Busan, Daejon, Cheonbuk, Kwangju and Daegu were surveyed in November 2007. The items surveyed were level of satisfaction about the services provided by mobile sexual health clinics, personal opinions and experience of artificial abortion, knowledge level about birth control, sexual experience and pregnancy. The above mentioned items were analyzed by general characteristics such as religion and geographical area. Results: The study subjects were generally satisfied with the services of mobile sexual health clinics. But they were not satisfied with the information about birth control methods provided by the clinics. The subjects who had better knowledge about sex were more satisfied with the services provided by the clinics. And the subjects who had knowledge about birth control methods but did not have birth control experience were also more satisfied with the services of clinics. The subjects who reported that artificial abortion should be allowed were also more satisfied with the services of the clinics. Experiences of sex, pregnancy, and artificial abortion were not correlated to satisfaction of the clinic services. Conclusions: The mobile sexual health clinics have to continues to provide sex health education and other sex related health services to adolescents. More practical information about birth control methods should be provided to the adolescents by the clinics based on the study results. Active preventive measures for unwanted pregnancy should be provided to the adolescents by the clinics.

  • This study examined the effects of social capital, ego-resilience and sociodemographic variables on children's Happiness. The subjects were 426 5th and 6th grade students living in Seoul. Collected data was subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, and multiple regression analysis. Results were :(a) Happiness index was higher in the fifth grade and the higher the economic level. There were no significant differences in gender. (b) Ego-resilience was deeply related to Children's Happiness.

Effect of Volunteering on Career Development of the University Students Majoring in Social Welfare (자원봉사활동이 사회복지학 전공생의 진로발달에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of volunteering on career decision level and career preparation behavior of the university students majoring in social welfare. For this purpose, a survey of 208 university students in Kangwon-do was conducted and the data was analyzed. The results of this study are summarized as follows: The career decision level of the university students majoring in social welfare is 2.65, and career preparation behavior is 2.28. By using a multiple regression, volunteering satisfaction and participation activeness had a positive effect on the career decision level, and grade and volunteering satisfaction had a positive effect on the career preparation behavior. This study finally discussed theoretical and practical implications for university student's volunteer strategies on the results.

The Effects of the Self-Growth Group Counseling on Self-Esteem and Life Satisfaction of University Students (자기성장 집단상담 프로그램이 대학생의 자아존중감과 생활만족에 미치는 효과)

  • The Purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self-growth group counseling on self-esteem and life satisfaction of university students. For this study the following hypotheses were established. First, does the self-growth group counseling enhance significantly the participants' self-esteem? Second, does the self-growth group counseling enhance significantly the participants's life satisfaction? Those who participated in this study were 22 University students which are in D University in Busan. Ten participants were assigned in the experimental group and twelve in the control group. The experimental group participated in the self-growth group counseling one session a week for 12 consecutive weeks held by counseling center for D University students. The instruments used in this study were Self-Esteem Scale and life satisfaction Scale. The data was analysed by ANCOVA. The average, standard deviation, and estimated marginal means were calculated and the differences between the pre and post-tests calculated, processed by SPSS 12.0. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the self-growth group counseling is effective to enhance significantly the level of self-esteem of University students. Second, the self-growth group counseling is also effective to enhance the level of life satisfaction of University students. Based on the results, the self-growth group counseling was suggested as a means to help University students enhance their self-esteem and life satisfaction.

The Development of Multidisciplinary Cancer Patient Education·Counseling Questionnaire and Satisfaction Survey (다직종 암환자 교육·상담에 대한 설문 개발과 환자 만족도 조사)

  • Background: Presently, a multidisciplinary team of doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and dietitians provides patient education to impart information on chemotherapy. However, studies on multidisciplinary education satisfaction are inadequate. In this study, we aimed to contribute to the improvement of quality of multidisciplinary education counseling for patients with cancer by developing a satisfaction questionnaire and analyzing the satisfaction survey. Methods: A questionnaire was developed by an expert group, and the responses were recorded using the 5-point Likert scale. After conducting a pre-test, factor analysis was performed to evaluate validity. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. A satisfaction survey was conducted by self-administration method. Results: Based on the results of factor analysis, factors can be divided into two parts: "overall education" and "each team member's education" (total 14 questions). The construct validity and reliability of the questionnaire are sufficiently high. Fifty-one patients took the survey between January 2, 2018 and January 20, 2018. Twenty-six (51%) patients responded that they were "very satisfied" and 22 (43.1%) patients responded that they were "satisfied". Conclusion: By developing a questionnaire on multidisciplinary education counseling for patients with cancer, it is possible to perform evaluation and research of cancer patient education. This study will contribute to the management and improvement of quality of multidisciplinary education.
