초고진공 펌프개발 -크라이오 펌프와 진공 브레이징의 이해-

  • 개요- 반도체 시장의 확대 및 소자의 고집적화와 장비의 초정밀화 등 고정도 생산성을 요구하는 현대 진공산업 시장에서는 정밀한 제품을 대량으로 생산할 수 있도록 지원할 수 있는 대용량 장비의 수요가 급증하고 있다. 서론- 하루가 다르게 발전하는 기술 경쟁 사회에서는 보다 성능이 좋은 제품을 다른 국가 또는 다른 업체와 차별화된 기술적 우위를 선점해야 한다. 본문-이에따라, 고신뢰도, 고생산성이 요구되는 진공산업 시장에 발맞추기 위한 일환으로 크라이오 펌프의 재생시간을 단축시켜 생산성 향상을 높이고, 기존의 제품에서 소비자가 느꼈던 진동을 최소로 줄일 수 있도록 저진동 제품의 설계를 통한 고객 만족의 제품을 개발함과 동시에, 맥동관 냉동기의 기술상업화를 꾀한 극저온기술 영역의 발전을 함께 도모하고자 한다. 현재까지는 국내의 일부 정부출연 연구소와 학교, 일부 특수산업 분야에서만 크라이오 펌프를 사용하고 있으나, 상업적인 설계 및 생산은 완전히 전무한 상태이다. 이는 진공시장의 잠재적인 성장을 고려할 때 국산화가 시급한 상황이다. 이러한, 상황을 고려하여 현재 기계연구원과 우성진공, 국민대학교가 맥동관 냉동기를 접목시킨 급속재생형 저진동 크라이오 펌프를 지난 2008년부터 산학연 협동으로 개발 진행 중에 있다. 크라이오 펌프의 핵심 기술은 냉동기의 효율에 있다고 볼 수 있으며, 이러한 냉동기의 효과를 높이기 위하여, 제작 공정에 진공 브레이징을 사용하여, 열교환기와 교환기 내의 충진재들과의 정확한 간극을 유지하면서 접합을 할 수 있는 환경요건을 지속적인 실험을 통해 지식을 습득하고 있다. 진공 브레이징은 외관을 아름답고 정교하게 접합할 수 있으므로, 추후 상품으로의 가치를 높일 수 있으며, 서로 다른 이종금속 간의 접합이 가능하여 열교환기의 무산소동과 스테인레스 튜브와의 접합을 가능하게 할 수 있었다. 진공브레이징에 쓰이는 모재는 여러가지가 있으며, 접합의 환경 또한 일반 용접보다 다양하므로 여러번의 실험을 통한다면, 성능은 우수하면서 외관으로 손색이 없는 개발품이 나올수 있겠다는 의견이 모아지고 있는 중이다. 본론- 아직까지는 미국의 CTI사나 일본의 ULVAC 등의 크라이오 펌프의 선진 기업에 비해 기술력이 많이 부족하기는 하지만, 아직 많은 부분이 미개발된 분야이고, 향후 후발국과의 차별을 두어 선진기술을 확보하기 위해서는 기존의 방식을 단순히 따라하는 것이 아닌 남들과 다른 원천기술의 확보가 더 필요하며, 이를 위해 부단한 노력과 시행착오를 거쳐 맥동관 냉동기형 크라이오 펌프라는 기술을 확보할 예정이다.

AlN 박막을 이용한 투명 저항 변화 메모리 연구

  • 투명 메모리 소자는 향후 투명 디스플레이 등 투명 전자기기와 집적화해 통합형 투명 전자시스템을 구현을 위해 지속적으로 연구가 진행 되고 있으며, 산학계에서는 다양한 메모리 소자중 큰 밴드-갭(>3 eV) 특성을 가지는 저항 변화 메모리(Resistive Random Access Memory, ReRAM)를 이용한 투명 메모리 구현 가능성을 지속적으로 보고하고 있다. 현재까지의 저항 변화 메모리 연구는 물질 최적화를 위해 다양한 금속-산화물계(Metal-Oxide) 저항 변화 물질에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행 되고 있지만, 금속-산화물계 물질의 경우 근본 적으로 그 제조 공정상 산소에 의한 다수의 산소 디펙트 형성과 제작 시 쉽게 발생할 수 있는 표면 오염의 문제점을 안고 있으며, 또한 Endurance 및 Retention 등의 신뢰성에 문제를 보이고 있다. 따라서, 이러한 문제점을 근본 적으로 해결하기 위해 새로운 저항 변화 물질에 관한 물질 최적화 연구가 요구 되며, 본 연구진은 다양한 금속-질화물계(Metal-Nitride) 물질을 저항변화 물질로 제안해 연구를 진행 하고 있다. 이전 연구에서, 물질 고유의 우수한 열전도(285 W/($m{\cdot}K$)) 및 절연 특성, 큰 밴드-갭(6.2 eV), 높은 유전율(9)을 가지고 있는 금속-질화물계 박막인 AlN를 저항변화 물질로 이용하여 저항변화 메모리 소자 연구를 진행하였으며, 저전압 고속 동작 특성을 보이는 신뢰성 있는 저항 변화 메모리를 구현하였다. 본 연구에서는 AlN의 큰 밴드-갭 특성을 이용하여 투명 메모리 소자를 구현하기 위한 연구를 진행 하였다. 투과도 실험 결과, 가시광 영역 (380-700 nm)에서 80% 이상의 투과도를 보였으며, 이는 투명 메모리 소자로써의 충분한 가능성을 보여 준다. 또한, I-V 실험에서 전형적인 bipolar 스위칭 특성을 보이며, 스위칭 전압 및 속도는 VSET=3 V/Time=10 ns, VRESET=-2 V/Time=10ns에서 가능하였다. 신뢰성 실험에서, 108번의 endurance 특성 및 105 초의 retention 특성을 보였다.

Effects of 3-D Fracture Tensor Parameters on Deformability of Fractured Rock Masses (삼차원 절리텐서 파라미터가 절리성 암반의 변형특성에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of directional fracture tensor components and first invariant of fracture tensor on deformation moduli and shear moduli of fractured rock masses is analyzed based on regression analysis performed between 3-D fracture tensor parameters and deformability of DFN blocks. Using one or two deterministic joint sets, a total of 224 3-D discrete fracture network (DFN) cube blocks were generated with various configurations of deterministic density and probabilistic size distribution. The fracture tensor parameters were calculated for each generated DFN systems. Also, deformability moduli with respect to three perpendicular direction of the DFN cube blocks were estimated based on distinct element method. The larger the first invariant of fracture tensor, the smaller the values for the deformability moduli of the DFN blocks. These deformability properties present an asymptotic pattern above the certain threshold. It is found that power-law function describes the relationship between the directional deformability moduli and the corresponding fracture tensor components estimated in same direction.

  • The export regulation of semiconductor core materials, which began with the recent revision of the export management regulations of Japan, raises the need for a new cooperation network. A hierarchical management network that was effective in the fast-follower system requires organic cooperation between the public sector and industry through a multilateral network that emphasizes horizontal co-operation among innovation actors. This study focused on the relational capital that exists among members of a business association such as an association that has been relatively marginalized from previous studies. In addition, this study aimed to analyze the effect of network activity characteristics such as industry-university linkage and informal exchange on technological innovation. Through this, I would like to draw implications for enhancing the effectiveness of the government's R & D support and innovation performance of R & D companies. Based on the results of the SMEs R & D survey, this study found that relational capital, informal exchange had a positive effect on technological innovation performance. However, if the relational capital exceeds a certain level, it is analyzed that there is a negative effect due to group think and lock-in effect. This means that informal exchange channels should be expanded for innovation and enhancement, and relational capital should be managed in consideration of the negative effects that may occur when certain levels are exceeded.

  • UAM is emerging as the biggest issue in the aviation industry and which is attracting a lot of attention not only domestically but also internationally. In Korea, active research is being conducted centered on the government and industry-university research institutes, such as the establishment of a future K-UAM concept of operation. Therefore, in this study applies the SORA (Specific Operation Risk Assessment) model established by the European JARUS (Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems) to apply the K-UAM operation environment and specific corridor for the purpose of cargo transportation that will be operated in the future that the government is promoting. We intend to suggest policy and technical measures for risk mitigation in the initial operating environment by evaluating the level of risk and analyzing the results.

  • Sericin is a protein extracted from the cocoon and has many health benefits. This study was conducted to evaluate the anti-wrinkle and anti-inflammatory activity of sericin derived from cocoon as a cosmetic material. The antioxidant activity of sericin was measured by DPPH and ABTS assays. In addition, cell viability was confirmed in Raw 264.7 cells, which are macrophages, and the anti-inflammatory effect of sericin was investigated using the inflammatory response induced using lipopolysaccharide (LPS). It shows that sericin has antioxidant activity and can be an excellent material for anti-aging and anti-inflammatory cosmetics.

  • This paper proposes a decision method of fuzzy weights by utilizing degrees of contribution in order to classify insect footprint patterns having difficulties to classify species clearly. Insect footprints revealed delicately in the form of scattered spots since they are very small. Therefore it is not easy to define shape of footprints unlike other species, and there are lots of noises in the footprint patterns so that it is difficult to distinguish those from correct data. For these reasons, the extracted feature set has obvious feature values with some uncertain feature values, so we estimate weights according to degrees of contribution. If the one of feature values has distinct difference enough to decide a class among other classes, high weight is assigned to make classification. A calculated weight determines the membership values by fuzzy functions and objects are classified into the class having a superior value.atu present experimental resultseighrontribution. Identification of White Hanwoo Breed Using Single Nucleotide Polymorphism Markers (단일염기다형성 마커를 이용한 백우 품종 식별 방법)

  • This study was conducted to develop specific Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) markers to identify the genetic characteristics and breed of White Hanwoo (WH) using a molecular biological method. SNP genotyping was performed with an Illumina Bovine HD 777K SNP chip using DNA extracted from 48 Hanwoo and 22 WH. The minor allele frequency (MAF) difference of each SNP was calculated and the statistical significance (P-value) of the MAF difference was calculated through Fisher's Exact test (Genotype). SNPs with 100% difference in the MAF difference were selected based on marker selection criteria. The nine SNP markers with genetic differences were selected. The selected markers have different alleles as being Hanwoo- and WH- specific. Therefore, based on these results, it can be concluded that the Hanwoo and WH varieties can be clearly distinguished by using these SNPs. So, the patent of the WH breed identification markers was registered. WH is a breed that shows the characteristics of a Korean native species that is separate from the native Hanwoo. It is expected that genetic characteristics research on the WH can be used to identify the breed and as a knowledge base for enhancing the value of breeding stock.

The Informativeness of Cash Flows and Earnings (현금흐름과 이익의 정보성)

  • One form of the anomalies of stock price changes as reaction to earnings information is believed to be caused by the so-called earnings fixation, which is the overreaction of stock prices to earnings. According to the Sloan (1996) study, stock price changes are positively associated with earnings at the time of earnings releases, but the association becomes negative after that, as the early overreaction is corrected. However, the problem in his study is to use cash flows computed by adjusting earnings with appropriate income statement and balance sheet items. As Bahnson et al. (1996) show, these cash flows substantially deviate from SFAS No. 95 cash flows and the sample used in this study is found to be subject to this substantial measurement error. Therefore, the result of Sloan might be driven by this error and the reexamination of earnings fixation is warranted. The results are generally consistent with those in Sloan. First, earnings is positively associated with stock price changes at the time of earnings releases, but the association becomes negative after that. Second, cash flows show a weak association with stock price changes at the time of earnings releases, but the association become stronger thereafter. Third, when seperated from cash flows, accruals have an incremental explanation about stock price changes beyond that of cash flows, accruals have a negative association later on. This finding is consistent with stock price overreaction to accruals, even when more cleaner cash flow data are used.

Effects of the 26-weeks Obesity Management Program on Obesity Index, Self-esteem, Self-efficacy, and Body Image among Obese Elementary School Children (초등학교 비만아동을 위한 26주-비만관리프로그램이 비만지수와 자아존중감, 자기효능, 및 신체상에 미치는 효과에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was conducted to develop a 26-week obesity management program and examine the effects of this program on obesity index (body mass index, fat mass percentage, and triglyceride) and psychological variables, self-esteem, dietary self-efficacy, physical activity self-efficacy, and body image among 46 4th-6th obese elementary school children with a BMI above $20kg/m^2$ using a nonequivalent control group quasi-experimental design (experimental group=23, control group=23). This program included a 12-week intensive course (12 times for group education on obesity, exercise, and nutrition, 36 times for practicing diet and physical exercise, and 5 times for psychological counseling) and a 14-week follow-up course (3 times for group education, 3 times for checking diet and physical exercise, and 1 time for psychological counseling. The collected data were analyzed by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, chi-squared test, Fisher's exact probability, t-test, and ANCOVA. There were above normal values in body mass index ($20kg/m^2$), fat mass percentage (15-20%), and triglyceride tolerance ($90mg/d{\ell}$) in experimental group and control group. The body mass index (F=94.869, p<.001), fat mass percentage (F=37.361, p<.001), and triglyceride tolerance (F=7.907, p= .007) were significantly lower, while self-esteem (F=19.661, p<.001), dietary self-efficacy (F=16.942, p<.001), physical activity self-efficacy (F=9.363, p= .004), and body image (F=9.782, p= .003) were significantly higher in the experimental group than the control group after 26 weeks. This study provides evidence that the 26-weeks obesity management program is an effective nursing intervention for managing obesity and psychological variables of obese elementary school children.
