Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the mediating effect of social connectedness and social responsibility in the relationship with self-leadership and cultural competency on nursing students. Method: The participants in the study were 207 nursing students in two college located in C province. Data were analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 24 program. Result: There were significant correlations among self-leadership, social connectedness, social responsibility, cultural competency. Social connectedness and responsibility showed partial mediating effect in the relationship between self-leadership and cultural competency. Conclusion: To enhance nursing students' cultural competency, it is necessary to develop effective strategies and education program to enhance self-leadership, social connectedness, social reponsibility.

The purpose of this study was to provide some policy implications by analyzing impacts of disability occurrence on economic, social cultural exclusion and testing empirically moderation effects of social environment in their relationships. For this study, 112 disabled persons were sampled and surveyed on economic, social cultural exclusion by disability. Analytical results are the followings. First, new disability caused economic exclusion. Second, it also caused social, cultural exclusion. Third, social support has a strong moderation effects between disability and economic, social cultural exclusion. Social support played the important role for reducing the negative impacts of disability occurrence on social exclusion. This study provided some policy implications about raising social support for the disabled basing on this analytical results. First, programs for improving cognition for the disabled need to be developed and implemented from the early childhood. Second, social campaign for the disabled are promoted positively by non-governmental sector. Third, public policy for the disabled should be strengthened from material support to even emotional support.

This study, the effect of organizational culture perceived by millennial Naval Personnel working on naval ships on organizational citizenship behavior was empirically analyzed. First, it was found that OC(group/hierarchy) had a positive effect on OCB. Second, affective commitment plays a mediating role in the relationship between OC(group/hierarchy) and OCB. It was confirmed that organizational culture has a direct effect on OCB, but also indirectly through affective commitment. Third, Coworker social loafing had a negative moderating effect in the relationship. Therefore, in order to improve organizational citizenship behavior, it is necessary to improve a balanced organizational culture suitable for changes in the organizational environment, Strengthen the key influencers for organizational members to affective commitment themselves in the organization, and promote improvement in social loafing.

This study analyzed social effects of participating in living culture activities for Daejeon citizens. The social effects were set to creativity and self-esteem at the individual factor and community involvement and exchange at the social factor, this effects were tested by the method of participation in living culture activities. We used SPSS 22 to analyze this effects, factor analysis, analysis of variance, and logistic regression analysis were used. The results showed that participation in lecture programs increased the effects of community involvement and exchange at the social factor. Participation in the club activities showed a decrease in creativity, and further analysis of the club activities was necessary. Participation in cultural art events increases self-esteem. Participation in performances and exhibitions of cultural art events increased creativity. Through these analysis results, first, development of living cultural programs to improve the characteristics of local residents and community of village culture. Second, revitalization through support of various community club activity programs. Third, support for the formation of village cultural community through exchange and cooperation between local Culture and Art Activists and local residents. Fourth, development and expansion of living-oriented and generation-integrated living cultural programs for young and old generations.

The study aims to explain the effect of bicultural acceptance on depression of multicultural adolescents and to analyze the mediating effect of social withdrawal between two variables. To accomplish the purpose, 1,158 subjects were selected from the 8th(2018) data of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS), and the data collected were analyzed by using Process Macro Model and Bootstrapping analysis. The major findings are as follows. First, positive bicultural acceptance attitude of multicultural adolescents was shown to decrease their social withdrawal and depression. Second, social withdrawal of multicultural adolescents affected increase of their depression. Third, the effect of bicultural acceptance on depression of multicultural adolescents was partly mediated by their social withdrawal. Based on the above findings, practical alternatives and programs to reduce depression and social withdrawal of multicultural adolescents were suggested.

This study is to investigate the mediating effects of social support on the relationship between acculturative stress and mental health of multicultural youth. The results of the study were as follows: 1.573 of the 4th(middle 1) to 6th(middle 3) of the multicultural youth panel were analyzed by AMOS 22.0. First, the acculturation stress of multicultural youths had a positive effect on mental health. Second, acculturation stress of multicultural youths had a negative effect on social support. Third, social support of multicultural youths had a negative effect on mental health. Fourth, social support of multicultural youths had a mediating effect on the effect of acculturation stress on mental health. This result shows that the stress of multicultural youths in the process of adapting to the dual culture negatively affects social support, and this social support has a positive effect on the mental health of multicultural youths.

The aim of this study was to assess the social impact of the cultural programs of the children's libraries in Korea and further present the libraries'social value. To this end, we have conducted a survey on 511 elementary school students to assess the social impact of the children libraries'cultural programs. As a consequence, we have ascertained the children's expressiveness / creativity within their personal realms, self-esteem, pleasure / joy / happiness as well as their attitude towards cultural arts and changes in the cultural and artistic experiences further to growth in friendship as a matter of social interaction, generation and strengthening of local communities, sense of affiliation with local community / identify, and local community participation, among the manifestations of the social impact concerned. Based on this, children's libraries can be regarded as an important social capital of the community in the following aspects. Children's libraries enhance the quality of life and children's interaction skills. It also make them feel attached to the local community. Children's libraries maintain local communities, contribute to the creation and strengthening of local communities, and encourage participation in local activities.

This study paid attention to the social cultural ripple effect which as a project for the past 10 years, the corporate social responsibility gave to local residents. Especially the study considered the effect appearing from encouragement of cultural activities of residents in abandoned mine which were culturally disadvantaged, and would search for productive ways for continuous development of casino industry and local community in the future. The study area was mainly Taebaek, Gohan, Sabuk located in abandoned mine and the number of residents involved were 185. Through surveys, first, demographic characteristics of respondents were investigated, second, recognition level and satisfaction, third, social cultural impacts of social responsibility of Kangwon Land according to that, and last negative image make over by corporate social responsibility were analyzed. As the result of the investigation, 185 of first response in general recognized the corporate social responsibility of Kangwon Land, and their satisfaction about that was also high. In addition they felt the quality of life were bettered after the development of casino.

This study is a descriptive correlation study to investigate the mediating effect of familiarity and social support in the relationship between grit and academic continuity for Mongolian students. A survey was conducted from May 1 to June 30, 2021 on 124 Mongolian students from universities across the country using Google questionnaires. As a result of the study, grit had a significant effect on the familiarity and social support of Korean culture. The intention to continue school was significantly influenced by grit, familiarity with Korean culture, and social support. Grit directly had a significant effect on academic continuity, and familiarity with Korean culture and social support had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between grit and academic continuity. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to increase grit and seek counseling and education programs to help using Korean cultural familiarity and social support systems.

This study tried to examine the effect of multicultural adolescents' bicultural acceptance attitude on their life satisfaction and the serial multiple mediating effect of social competence and self-esteem in the relationship between them. To this purpose, we analyzed adolescents data from the first year(2019) of the 'Multicultural Adolescent Panel Study'(2nd group). As a result of the study, first, bicultural acceptance attitude had a significant positive effect on life satisfaction. Second, social competence mediated the effect of bicultural acceptance attitude on life satisfaction. Third, self-esteem mediated the effect of bicultural acceptance attitude on life satisfaction. Fourth, social competence and self-esteem were successively multi-mediated bicultural acceptance attitude on life satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, the implications of the results of this study were discussed along with measures to support the healthy growth and development of multicultural adolescents.
