This study examined the relationship between social support and depressive symptom among the middle and old-aged people, using dataset of the Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing(KLoSA 3rd). The subjects were 7,874 persons aged 45 and over. Using this data, social support variables and its relation to depressions was observed based on social network model. A multiple regression model was used to study an association between social support and depressive symptom, controlling for socio-economic characteristics, health status and behavior. Also, this paper run two subgroup regression models based on gender of subjects (male, female), controlling for confounding variables. Authors found that there was lower the number of meetings with friends (1~3 times in a week: b=0.597, p<0.0001; 1~2 times in a month: b=0.609, p<0.0001; 1~6 times in a year or under: b=1.598, p<0.0001) and negative relationship between spouse satisfaction (b=-0.007, p=0.0237), children satisfaction (b=-0.019, p<0.0001) and depressive symptom. Also quantitative effect differences were compared according to gender and its effect on depression. Compared to the male group, female group showed significant difference in quantitative effect with number of meetings with friends and spouse satisfaction, but children satisfaction didn't show clear differences according to gender. This study suggested the importance of social support for promoting mental health among the middle and old-aged people.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between behavior patterns(DISC) and direct indirect of social support from dental hygienists. The data used in this study were obtained from 171 dental hygienists who have been working on dental hospital or clinic in Pusan and Gyeongsangnam-do from 1st July to 30th August in 2011. In the level of direct indirect of social support according to subjects' general characteristics, higher educational level and non-religion was related with higher in direct of social support(p<0.05), and hygienists who worked in general hospital was related with higher indirect of social support(p<0.01). According to between behavior patterns(DISC) and indirect social support, these score were that I-type 3.55, D-type 3.53, C-type 3.41, and S-type 3.36. All behavior patterns(DISC) were similar with the indirect support. In direct support these score were that S-type 2.98 I-type 2.95, D-type and C-type 2.91. In frequency of behavior patterns(DISC), these were that I-type 56.7%, S-type 16.4%, C-type 14%, and D-type 12.9%. In correlation between factors, direction social support was correlated with I-type(p<.01) and C-type(p<.01) of behavior patterns(DISC). On based on these results, if the change of working environment, working condition will improve social support of dental hygienists. And education program have to developed for dental hygienists.

In this test, there was two dimensional model loading test implemented for analysis with respect to the problem of evaluating bearing capacity and the application range on the dredged and reclaimed ground. It was got following conclusion through comparison of button's and Brown&Meyerhof"s equation with experimental result that was obtained by 2 dimensions model loading test. For the difference between average undrained shear strength by 2/3B of loading board width and under 2/3B is more than ${\pm}$ 50%, application of Nc(coefficient of bearing capacity was used in that case $\phi$=0 analysis is considered in the single layer) was declined. Brown&Meyerhof(1969)'s equation was underestimated comparing with loading test result, while Button(1953)'s equation was overestimated comparing with loading test result applied dividing as double layers of upper dessication layer and lower soft layer about dredged and reclaimed ground. Also, bearing capacity factors, Nc that was calculated by using button's equation was estimated greatly about 1.7 times more than bearing capacity factors, Nc that was calculated by using Brown&Meyerhof's equation. Bearing capacity factors, Nc that was calcuated by using Brown&Meyerhof's and Button's equation was evaluated each 2.3-3.6 times, 1.3-2.1 times smaller than bearing capacity factors, Nc5.14 that was calcuated by using Meyerhof's equation in case of unit layer.

This study analyzes how the environmental-friendly logistics activities impact on both environmental performance which is the result of sustainable development and business performance which is one of basic achievement of commercial company. It has been researched especially focusing on manufacturing-based company. According to the results of multiple regression analysis, it has been proven that environment-friendly storage and cargo handling, management and policy factors significantly affect environmental performance. And environment-friendly production, management, policy factors significantly affect the company's business performance.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly people with chronic musculoskeletal pain. Methods: The data were collected from 307 older adults aged 65 years or older with chronic musculoskeletal pain, who visited senior welfare centers in two cities. We used self-rated questionnaires including NRS for pain, WHOQOL-BREF for quality of life, Pain Response Inventory for coping responses to pain, and MSPSS for social support. Stepwise multiple regression analysis were performed using SPSS/WIN 23.0 to identify factors affecting the study subjects' quality of life. Results: The regression model explained 43% of quality of life, which was statistically significant (F=34.11, p<.001). Educational level of high school (${\beta}=.13$, p=.006), pain (${\beta}=-.13$, p=.013), restriction of function (${\beta}=-.13$, p=.028), accommodative pain coping (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001), family support (${\beta}=.18$, p<.001), colleague's support (${\beta}=.25$, p<.001), and perceived health status (${\beta}=.25$, p<.001) were identified as influential factors on subjects' quality of life. Conclusion: Developing integrative interventions is necessary to improve accommodative pain coping skills and to engage family and colleague in support for positive perception of older adults' health status and management of symptoms.

Many researchers and librarians in library and information science area in Korea and Japan claim that Japanese Hongdohoe Library is the first modern public library in Korea. The results of analysis of the study reveal that the claim should be reconsidered because of the following reasons. Firstly, Hongdohoe Library was established in Korea but was established by Japanese. Secondly, the library was established for Japanese in Busan and operated for a long time for the use of Japanese people in Busan. Thirdly, most of the collection of the library were revealed as Japanese materials. Fourthly, the Japanese Hongdohoe which established the library was the organization that supported Japanese militarism before and during the Japanese occupation of Korea.

This study was attempted to provide basic data for health promotion program for depressive relief by grasping the degree of depression of adult women and grasping the factors affecting depression. Data were collected using structured questionnaire for 249 adult women in the one marine city and analyzed through technical statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression analysis. According to the study, 76.3 percent (190 people) of women in the city were depressed. The subjects who expressed depression showed negative correlations with social support, self-respect and subjective euphoria and between depression and stress as positive correlation. The result of multiple regression analyses to identify the effects of depression have shown that stress is a major influencing factor, and this model has a 21.1% explanatory power. Therefore, the study found stress as a significant factor in the depression of adult women, it is necessary to develop and apply health promotion programs that can reduce stress in order to reduce depression in adult women.

This study was done for analyzing the effects of menopausal women's life stress on life satisfaction and depression. The subjects of this study were 425 menopausal women in Daejeon Metropolitan City and Chungnam Province. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS 19.0 program. Life stress differed according to marital status, income, climacteric symptoms level. Also the findings indicate that there is a significant positive correlation between life stress and life satisfaction. However, there is negative effect of life stress on depression. The results of this study offer basic data for the development of counseling and social support program to reduce depression and improve the life satisfaction for menopausal women. Also integrated programs and capacity-building programs were suggested to prepare the elderly life.

This study aims to identify existing legal limitations on tattooing for beauty purposes and to suggest legalization of tattooing for beautician and necessity of institutionalization for the professional qualification system. The results of depth interviews from 10 experts in the field of beauty and law and survey from 101 respondents who experienced with tattooing are as follows. First, 10 experts pointed out that the law does not reflect reality considering the fact that a number of procedures are made illegal, and suggested opinions of the introduction of the professional qualification system. Second, only 15.7 percent of procedures had been conducted by a doctor, and non-medical practitioners showed higher quality of procedure, satisfaction, and recommendation. Side effects do not differ between groups, and 73.7% of the respondents answered that the qualification system is necessary. This study empirically supports the need for improvement in government policies that reflect social awareness of tattooing for beauty purposes.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a culture and art education program on adolescents with disabilities. Craft education oriented toward activities convergence education. The investigator conducted an in-depth interview with seven adolescents with developmental disabilities in a special high school class for a month after the educational sessions were over. The findings were as follows: first, the adolescents with developmental disabilities experienced the joy, pleasure, and interest of study, which they used to have a difficult time experiencing in a common class. Second, they became relaxed with their participation in lessons, felt comfortable through educational activities, and had a positive attitude. Third, they had a feeling of being together and coexistence through collaborative activities. Finally, they were able to share each other's ideas, listen carefully to their friends, talk about works they created, and experience close relationships with classmates.
