  • Land assessement is a procedure that assesses developmental, agricultural or heritage suitability of land parcel according to such criteria as soil, location and usability. There are much problems to execute land assessment by law. Problems include inadequate basic data, lack of linkage with the spatial planning system, and inefficiency in operation. The purpose of this study is to investigate methods of developing land assessment as a sustainable land use management tool in a Korean context, using case study. In the case study, land assessment will be executed through GIS- based assessment method. On the basis of the results of this case study, practical and institutional problems are described, and technical and institutional solutions are suggested.

  • 사회와 생활수준의 발달로 인간은 자연환경하에서 생활보다 인공적 환경하에서의 생활이 증가하게 되었다. 따라서 인간은 쾌적한 생활공간을 요구하게 되었고 이를 위한 온열환경에 대한 연구가 진행되어져 왔다. 이러한 생활공간에서의 쾌적한 온열환경에 영향을 주는 물리적 요인으로는 온도와 습도 그리고 기류 등이 있다. 또한 온열환경에 대한 인간의 감성적 측면도 쾌적한 온열환경을 결정하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 겨울철 대류난방시 인간에게 가장 쾌적한 환경을 제시할 수 있는 기류 속도의 범위를 찾고, 이를 평가하는데 객관적인 지표를 설정하기 위해 온도에 따른 기류조건을 제시하고, HRV 분석을 통하여 인체의 자율신경계의 변화를 관찰하였다. 실험결과 18$^{\circ}C$, 21$^{\circ}C$, 24$^{\circ}C$ 각각의 온도에서 draft를 초래하지 않는 0.15m/sec의 기류속도일 때 가장 높은 MF/(LF+HF) 값을 보여 쾌적한 기류조건으로 나타났고 이는 쾌불쾌감신고(CSV)와 동일한 결과를 나타내었다. 이러한 심전도 신호를 통한 HRV 분석은 기류조건에 따른 온열쾌적성의 평가에도 객관적이고 신뢰성 있는 지표로 제시될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 다른 환경하에서의 감성평가 척도로도 이용될 수 있을 것이라고 생각되어진다.

Factors Influencing Social and Economic Performance of Social Enterprises (사회적기업의 사회적·경제적 성과에 미치는 영향요인: 사회적미션, 고객지향성, 사회적네트워크, 비즈니스모델)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the necessary success strategies for the social economy ecosystem and social enterprise stakeholders by empirically examining the structural relationship of factors that affect the sustainable dual performance of social enterprises. Through previous studies, hypotheses and research models were established for the performance factors of social enterprises, and hypothesis testing was performed using PLS-Structural Equation Modeling on 92 sample data collected from the survey. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the social mission, customer orientation, and social network set as performance factors all had a significant positive (+) effect on social performance. In addition, social performance had a significant (+) effect on economic performance by mediating customer orientation and social network excluding social mission, and it was found that the business model strengthened this relationship. In addition to the theoretical significance of demonstrating the structural influence of social enterprise performance factors through this study, practical implications can be found in that it suggests factors that social entrepreneurs should focus on for growth and performance creation.

A Comparative Study on Awareness of Middle School Students, School Parents, and Human Resources Directors in Industrial Institutions about Admission into Specialized High Schools and Career after Graduating from Specialized High Schools (특성화고 진학 및 졸업 후 진로에 대한 중학생, 학부모, 산업체 인사 담당자의 인식 비교 연구)

  • This study tried to suggest implications about operation direction of specialized high schools (SHS) by researching awareness of middle school students (MSS), school parents (SP), human resources directors in industrial institutions (HRDII) who will be the main users of SHS education, about entering SHS and career after graduating from SHS. Seniors of middle school, SP and HRDII in Asan, Chungnam were the subject of this survey research. The summary of the result of this study is as follow: First, MSS and SP usually hoped to enter general high schools rather than vocational education schools such as SHS, meister high schools, and MSS considered school records and SP considered aptitude and talent for the factors to choose high school. Second, MSS, SP, and HRDII recognized purposes of SHS as improvement of talent and aptitude, and getting a job. As for positive images of SHS, they recognized it as applying talent and aptitude to life early, getting good jobs easily, fast independence after graduation, and learning excellent technologies, and as for negative images of SHS, they recognized it as social prejudices and discrimination, students with bad school records enter them, disadvantages about promotion and wages, and being unfavorable for entering universities. They also recognized education of SHS as being effective for improvement of basic and executive ability and key competency, development of creative human resources, and improvement of right personality and courteous manners. Third, many MSS and SP showed intention to enter SHS if it is established in Asan. They wished to enter SHS because they would like to apply their aptitude and talent to life early, learn excellent skill, and hope for early employment, on the other hand, they did not wish to enter SHS because it was not suited for their aptitude and talent, awareness about SHS is low, it is unfavorable to enter universities, and there were social prejudices and discrimination. They also similarly hoped for getting jobs and entering universities after graduating from SHS. And the reason they wanted to get a job was usually because they want to be successful by advancing into society early, or because it is still hard to get a job even after graduate from the university, on the other hand, the reason they want to enter university is because is usually in-depth education about major and social discrimination about level of education. The ability to perform duties forms the greatest part of the employment standard that MSS, SP, and HRDII aware. MSS and SP usually hoped for industrial, home economics and housework and commercial majors in SHS, and considered aptitude and talent, the promising future, and being favorable for employment for choosing major. The reason HRDII hire SHS student was to develop student into talent of industrial institution, ability of student, and need for manpower with high school graduation level, and there were also partial answer that they can hire SHS student if they have ability to perform duties. The proposals about operation direction of SHS according to the results above are as follow: SHS should diversify major and curriculum to meet various requirements of student and parents, establish SHS admission system based on career guidance, and improve student's ability to perform duties by establishing work-based learning. The Government should organize work-to-school policy to enable practical career development of students from SHS, and promote relevant policy to reinforcing SHS education rather than quantitative evaluation such as employment rate, and cooperative support from each government departments is required to make manpower with skill related to SHS to get proper evaluation and treatment.

A Study on the Antecedent Factors of Performance and Sustainability of Social Enterprises (사회적기업의 성과와 지속가능성의 성공요인에 관한 연구)

  • After the Enactment of Support of Social Enterprise in 2007, Cultivation of Social Enterprises has been Promoted in Eearnest these days. This Study Attempts to Examine the Factors that Affect the Sustainability of Social Enterprise, Which is the Current Policy Issue Regarding the Social Enterprise. For this Purpose, the Study Developed a Research Model that has Antecedent Factors(strategy, managerial capability, business environment and social entrepreneurship) of Social Enterprise as an Independent Variable, Performance as Parameter and Sustainability as a Dependent Variable. Using this Model, the Study Established Hypotheses that Examine the Performance and Antecedent Factors of Sustainability of Social Enterprise. According to the Hypothesis Testing Results, the Economic Performance Showed Partial Mediating Effect on the Impact of Strategy, Management Capacity, Business Environment and Social Entrepreneurial Spirit on the Sustainability. As for the Social Performance, Strategy, Management Capacity and Social Entrepreneurial Spirit Turned out to Partially Mediate the Impact on Sustainability. Meanwhile, The Social Performance did not Show Mediating Effect in the Impact of Business Environment on Sustainability.

  • 현대 사회를 살아가는 사람들은 각종 스트레스에 노출되어 있다. 불안한 미래와 과다한 업무, 가족 간의 불화, 각종 사회적 위험요소가 팽배한 현실에서 현대인들이 받은 스트레스는 회피할 수도, 저항할 수도 없는 삶의 과정에서 자연스럽게 나타나는 것이다. 심한 스트레스는 우리의 정신적인 안정을 깨뜨리고 불안감과 긴장감을 유발한다. 스트레스는 정신건강을 해치는 주범이 되기도 하지만 그렇다고 스트레스가 모두 다 해로운 것만은 아니다. 스트레스는 어려움을 극복하게 하고, 목표를 성취하도록 힘을 주며, 동기를 유발시키고 삶의 활력을 불어넣기도 한다. 따라서 건설적일 수도 있고, 파괴적일 수도 있는 스트레스를 어떻게 다루는가에 따라 우리의 건강과 행복을 크게 영향을 받게 된다. 이번 10월호에서는 고디 안산병원 한창수 교수와 한국 심리적성센터 전현두 원장의 도움말로 스트레스에 관해 자세히 알아본다.

The Quality of After-School Programs Focused on Artistic-Physical Activities and Children′s Emotional Regulation and Social Competence (예체능 방과후 교육프로그램의 질과 아동의 정서조절 및 사회적 능력)

  • This study investigated the quality of after-school programs focused on artistic-physical activities, children's emotional regulation and social competence. The subjects were 224 elementary school children (1st through 6th grades) and 41 teachers. The measures were questionnaire(after-school activities), Assessment Profile for Early Childhood Programs(school-age), the Emotional Regulation Scale. and the Social Competency Scale. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's a, frequency, percentile, mean, and t-test. The results indicated that emotional regulation and, social competence were significantly different according to the quality of after-school programs: Children in a higher group of curriculum quality and interaction with teacher had better emotional regulation than did children in a lower group. Children in a higher group of curriculum quality and scheduling had better social competence(leadership and competence) than did children in a lower group.

Seasonal Comparison in Thermal Comfort of the Human Body (인체 열쾌적성의 계절 비교)

  • This study was carried out to compare human thermoregulatory responses and preferred air temperature by feet immersion between summer and winter in terms of thermal comfort. Five healthy female university students participated in the study as subjects. They experienced feet immersion at $40^{\circ}C$ of water in the climatic chamber of $24^{\circ}C$, 50%RH from 19:30 to 21:00 in the summer and winter, respectively. Rectal temperature gradually decreased and maintained $0.08^{\circ}C$ lower in winter than summer, while mean skin temperature changed $0.4^{\circ}C$ greater in winter than summer(p=0.00). Air temperature selected by each subject for their thermal comfort revealed $0.8^{\circ}C$ higher in summer than winter(p=0.06). The results obtained suggest an increase in human thermoregulation and be used as preliminary data to maintain optimal indoor temperature in summer and winter.

  • 현대 정보화 사회에 대응하는 교육을 위해 정보 인프라 구축에 심혈을 기울이고 교육의 다양화 첨단화를 추구하여 교육의 효율성과 효과성을 높이고자 하는 교육 개혁을 추진하고 있다. 또한 7차 교육과정에서 정보화 사회에 대처할 수 있는 능력 함양을 위해 정보화 교육의 중요성을 한층 더 강조하고 있으며, 국가 차원의 교육정보화 사업 달성을 위해 노력하고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 초등학교에서는 컴퓨터 교육에 대한 정확한 교육과정과 교육내용이 제시되어 있지 않고 재량활동, 특별활동, 특기·적성교육, 실과교과의 일부분으로 컴퓨터 교육을 실시함에 따라 마땅한 컴퓨터 교재와 학생들의 수준별 학습이 이루어지지 못하여 체계적인 컴퓨터 교육이 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 웹 기반 교수-학습을 활용하여 학습자 중심의 자기 주도적 학습을 하고 학습자에게 학습과정에 대한 자기 평가의 기회를 제공함으로써 학습에 대한 인식과 주도성을 증진시키고, 수준별 학습을 할 수 있는 올바른 교육 개선 방안을 모색하였다.

A Study on the Concept and Cause of Sexual Abuse perceived by Adolescents (청소년의 성폭력 개념 및 원인에 대한 인식 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide practical information which can prevent adolescents from sexual derailment by identifying their perception of sexual abuse. A total of 694 middle and high school students were asked to complete a questionnaire consisting of 28 items about the concept and cause of sexual abuse. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Three types(physical. verbal. and psychological) were perceived in the concept of sexual abuse. Among the three types. physical type was most seriously perceived as a concept of sexual abuse. followed by verbal and psychological abuse. Females perceived physical sexual abuse as a more serious type than males. High school students didn't perceive physical sexual abuse as serious as middle school students did. 2. Four types(social environment. victim. sexuality education and community role) were perceived in the cause of sexual abuse. Among the four causes. social environment was most seriously perceived as a cause of sexual abuse. followed by victim. sexuality education and community role. Females perceived social environment and community role as a more serious causes than males. There was no meaningful difference in the perception of the cause according to age.
