  • 미래사회가 요구하는 창의융합형 인재 육성을 위한 기초소양 함양을 위해 소프트웨어 교육이 의무화되는 등 컴퓨팅 사고력과 지능정보사회에 필요한 핵심역량인 협력적 문제해결력의 향상을 위한 소프트웨어 교육에서의 교수 학습 방법이 강조되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 감성적 사고와 창의적 사고력의 균형을 추구하는 디자인 사고와 실생활 맥락적 문제를 해결하는 메이커 활동을 결합한 디자인 사고 기반 메이커교육을 소프트웨어 교육에 적용하여 초등학생의 협력적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 한다. 이를 통하여 디자인 사고기반 메이커 교육의 학습효과를 밝히고, 초등학교 수업에서 다른 교과목과 융합한 소프트웨어 교육의 적용방법에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

  • 사회자본은 노인에게 있어 그들의 욕구 및 문제를 해결하는데 용이하게 작용을 할 뿐 만아니라, 나아가 지역사회에서 생활함에 있어 삶의 질을 향상시키는데 기능적 역할을 하기 때문에 중요한 요인이라 할 수 있다. 많은 선행연구들에서 노인의 사회자본 연구들이 진행되고는 있지만, 대부분의 연구에서 척도의 검증 없이 사용되어지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 선행연구를 토대로 사회자본의 개념 및 구성요소를 정의하고, 기존연구에서 제시된 사회자본 측정 문항들을 활용하여 우리나라 노인들이 인지하는 사회자본 척도를 개발한 후 타당도를 검증하고자 한다.

Structural Model Analysis of the Effectiveness of Problem Solving Ability by Team-Based Learning Pedagogy

  • This study is to evaluate the effectiveness of problem-solving ability by applying a team-based learning model to the classes of humanities and social science students, and to conduct a structural model analysis on the relationship between sub-factors. Team-based learning was conducted six times in six teams with 30 students in the second and third grades of the humanities and social sciences. The problem solving ability score of the target students was significantly higher after team-based learning and was statistically significant. There was no problem in normality with the latent variables, which are the sub-factors of problem solving ability, and the factor load value was statistically significant at the .001 level in the confirmatory factor analysis of the observed variables for the latent variables, which was a valid model. A good level of fitness was also shown in the verification of the fitness of the research model. As a result, it was analyzed that latent variables of cause analysis, problem clarification, planning execution, performance evaluation, and alternative development had an indirect or direct influence on each other.

  • Recently, the third mission as the new role of the university is being emphasized as contributing to the local community through active participation in local and regional problems as well as an economic contribution as an entrepreneurial university. Thus, overseas universities started various university-industry collaboration activities targeting sustainable development based on local community and improve their roles for regional regeneration and innovation. Universities in Korea also tend to set up a cooperative governance with various agents in the local community via university financial support projects by the government and started to promote the university-industry collaboration project for solving the problem of the local community. Therefore, this research tries to find implications in order to expand the role and responsibility as local university and reinforce substantiality and enhancement of university-industry collaboration through a case analysis of university-industry collaboration to solve the problem in local communities in foreign countries. In order to solve the problem of local communities based on local agents-led small-sized projects, it is requested to improve the more active role of the university, local governments and university students.

The Convergent effect of Self-Leadership and Goal Commitment on Problem Solving Ability of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 셀프리더십, 목표몰입이 문제해결능력에 미치는 융복합적 영향)

  • This study is a descriptive research designed to determine the effects of self-leadership and goal commitment on nursing students' problem-solving ability. For this purpose, the study made a questionnaire survey of 201 students attending at 4 nursing colleges located in B metropolitan city and D city. Data collected from the survey were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, participants showed significant differences in nursing students' problem-solving ability on age, grade and major satisfaction. Second, there were correlations between self-leadership and nursing students' problem-solving ability and also between their goal commitment and problem-solving ability. Third, nursing students' problem-solving ability was most influenced by their self-leadership, followed by goal commitment and age in order. Therefore it is needed to provide nursing students with educational and interventive programs that help their better self-leadership and goal commitment of it.

  • 본 연구에서는 북한이탈주민 남한사회 정착을 위한 정책 방안을 모색하여 정책의 기초 자료 활용과 시사점의 제공에 목적을 두고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존의 문헌연구와 통계자료를 활용하여 인과모형을 설정하였다. 연구결과 먼저, 불안한 신변을 위해 개인의 정보 보호가 이루어 져야 한다. 둘째, 심리적 문제 해결과 이를 통한 정서적 안정이 마련되어져야 한다. 셋째, 국적에 관한 문제를 제도적으로 명확히 하여야 한다. 넷째, 경제적 문제 해결을 위한 현실적인 서비스 지원 개선책이 마련되어야 한다. 다섯째, 국가나 지방자치단체의 적극적인 인식의 개선 노력과 시민교육을 통한 문화적 차이를 해소할 수 있는 공동체 교육이 이루어져야 한다.

The Perception of Middle School Science-Gifted Students on the 'Science Writing Heuristic' Class Emphasizing Social Interaction and Tool Improvement (사회적 상호작용과 도구 개선을 강조한 '탐구적 과학 글쓰기' 수업에 대한 중학교 과학 영재 학생들의 인식)

  • In this study, a science writing heuristic class with emphasis on social interaction and tool improvement for 10 middle school students at the National University Science-Gifted Education Center in Jeollanamdo was conducted to investigate the perception of STS (science technology society) relationship and students' perception of the effects of class. After science writing heuristic class emphasizing social interaction and tool improvement, the students became aware of the STS relationships as follows: Science-gifted students have come to perceive that experimental tools and technology contribute to the development of scientific theory, that it is difficult to solve all social problems with only science and technology, and that science is a social interaction activity. In addition, science-gifted students responded that they became aware of the relevance of STS through intensive inquiry conducted on the same subject for several hours, communications with colleagues in another group through peer reviews, communication to solve problems with colleagues in the same group, activities to improve tools in the process of inquiry, inquiry using familiar materials and phenomena. In order for students to effectively recognize the relationship of STS in science-gifted class for middle school students, it is necessary to provide experience to solve problems using various experimental tools, experience to have trial and error in the process of solving inquiry problem under the same subject, experience to improve tools in the process of solving inquiry problem, experience to communicate with colleagues who conduct inquiry activities under the same subject, experience to share the results with other groups, and inquiry activities using familiar materials and phenomena.

  • This study reports pre-service teachers' problem solving process on the problem-based learning(PBL) employed in an elementary mathematics method course. The subjects were 6 pre-service teachers(students). The data were collected from classroom observation. The research results were described by problem solving stages. In understanding the problem stage, students identified what problem stand for and made a problem solving planned sheet. In curriculum investigation stage, students went through investigation and re-investigation process for solving the task. In problem solving stage, students selected the best strategy for solving the task and presented and shared about problem solving results.

  • This study is to demonstrate that public libraries help community to become an active 'Community of Practice(CoP)'. In order to prove this hypothesis, 'Libraries Transforming Communities(LTC)' initiative of American Library Association is analyzed. Public libraries participating in LTC program solved problems of communities through making CoPs by librarians as a catalyst. People's recognition about public libraries is altered by the problem-solving practice. The followings are 4-level transforming relationship model of public library and community: Leadership Development for Librarian CoPs; Librarian CoPs for improving library services; Community CoPs with library for solving problems; Community as CoP.

  • Problem-solving ability have become extremely important in today's world. Programming may help to induce problem-solving ability. However, programming may give cognitive overload and offense against learning motivation. Therefore it is necessary that we should develope strategies to increase motivation on elementary programming classes. We developed a programming learning design and supporting system that combine problem-based learning and storytelling to induce motivation and problem solving ability. And then, we implemented the developed course in elementary school. The result of the research shows that the developed programming classes had positive effect on the development of elementary student's motivation and problem-solving ability.
