As the information and communication environment develops, the environment of military facilities is also development remarkably. In proportion to this, cyber threats are also increasing, and in particular, APT attacks, which are difficult to prevent with existing signature-based cyber defense systems, are frequently targeting military and national infrastructure. It is important to identify attack groups for appropriate response, but it is very difficult to identify them due to the nature of cyber attacks conducted in secret using methods such as anti-forensics. In the past, after an attack was detected, a security expert had to perform high-level analysis for a long time based on the large amount of evidence collected to get a clue about the attack group. To solve this problem, in this paper, we proposed an automation technique that can classify an attack group within a short time after detection. In case of APT attacks, compared to general cyber attacks, the number of attacks is small, there is not much known data, and it is designed to bypass signature-based cyber defense techniques. As an attack model, we used MITRE ATT&CK® which modeled many parts of cyber attacks. We design an impact score considering the versatility of the attack techniques and proposed a group similarity score based on this. Experimental results show that the proposed method classified the attack group with a 72.62% probability based on Top-5 accuracy.

The most threatening attack that has become a hot topic of recent IT security is APT Attack.. So far, there is no way to respond to APT attacks except by using artificial intelligence techniques. Here, we have implemented a machine learning algorithm for analyzing cyber threat data using machine learning method, using a data set that collects cyber attack cases using Scikit Learn, a big data machine learning framework. The result showed an attack classification accuracy close to 70%. This result can be developed into the algorithm of the security control system in the future.

In these days, the world is getting connected to the internet like a sophisticated net, such an environment gives a suitable environment for cyber attackers, so-called cyber-terrorists. As a result, a number of cyber attacks has significantly increased and researches to find cyber attack traffics in the field of network monitoring has also been proceeding. But cyber attack traffics have been appearing in new forms in every attack making it harder to monitor. This paper suggests a method of tracking down cyber attack traffic sources by defining relational information flow of traffic data from highest cascaded and grouped relational flow. The result of applying this cyber attack source tracking method to real cyber attack traffic, was found to be reliable with quality results.
Cyberspace, based on the dramatic development of information and communications technology, has brought enormous benefits to mankind. However, concerns over cyber terrorism and cyber attack are becoming serious. It is time to expand the global dialogue on international security issues in cyberspace. It is imperative to have a common understanding that cyberspace, the infrastructure for prosperity, should not be utilized as a space to create conflicts among states, and that all states agree to build confidence and peace in cyberspace. For this purpose, there are 3 tracks of international cooperations: 1)international cooperation such as UN and Conference on Cyberspace, 2)regional cooperations such as ARF and OSCE. 3)bilateral cooperations such US-Russia Cybersecurity Agreement, US-China presidential level dialogue. This paper will analyze the 1st track of international cooperations of UN and Conference on Cyberspace. With this, Korean government can prepare the forthcoming GGE activities and make our own strategy to deal with the global norms of good behaviour in cyberspace.
The damage is increasing due to many encroachment accidents caused by increasingly sophisticated cyber attacks. Many institutions and businesses lack early response to invest a lot of resources in the infrastructure for incident detection. The initial response of an intrusion is to identify the route of attack, and many cyber attacks are targeted at software vulnerabilities. Therefore, analyzing the artifacts of a Windows system against software vulnerabilities and classifying the analyzed data can be utilized for rapid initial response. Therefore, the remaining artifacts upon entry of attacks by software are classified, and artifact grouping is presented for use in analysis of encroachment accidents.
Recently, the number of cyber attacks using malicious code has increased. Various types of malicious code detection techniques have been researched for several years as the damage has increased. In recent years, profiling techniques have been used to identify attack groups. This paper focuses on the identification of attack groups using a detection technique that does not involve malicious code detection. The attacker is identified by using a string or a code signature of the malicious code. In addition, the detection rate is increased by adding a technique to confirm the packing file. We use Yara as a detection technique. We have research about RAT (remote access tool) that is mainly used in attack groups. Further, this paper develops a ruleset using malicious code and packer main feature signatures for RAT which is mainly used by the attack groups. It is possible to detect the attacker by detecting RAT based on the newly created ruleset.

In this paper, we propose a method to apply the attack surface expansion through decoy traps to a protected server network. The network consists of a large number of decoys and protected servers. In the network, each protected server dynamically mutates its IP address and port numbers based on Hidden Tunnel Networking that is a network-based moving target defense scheme. The moving target defense is a new approach to cyber security and continuously changes system's attack surface to prevent attacks. And, the attack surface expansion is an approach that uses decoys and decoy groups to protect attacks. The proposed method modifies the NAT table of the protected server with a custom chain and a RETURN target in order to make attackers waste all their time and effort in the decoy traps. We theoretically analyze the attacker success rate for the protected server network before and after applying the proposed method. The proposed method is expected to significantly reduce the probability that a protected server will be identified and compromised by attackers.
