This paper introduces technical methods to improve the accessibility and usability of a WebRTC video conference (VC) application. Simplified login is essential, by applying such as single sign-on (SSO) to improve the accessibility of VC applications. High usability and manageability are also necessary to attract more users, enhance user experiences, and save service management cost. The proposed VC application leverages SAML-based federated identity management (FIM) to enable higher service accessibility. Users can access the application with their organizational ID and SSO authentication. The FIM eases user ID management and indirectly strengthens privacy information protection. Proposed web application has high usability and manageability because users and/or administrators can easily create, join, monitor, or tear down VC sessions through RESTful web service (REST API). We verify the feasibility of the VC application after illustrating the SAML-based identity federation and the designed REST API.

Smart phones mixed with mobile devices and computers are biggest change of information technology and user-installed applications of them provide various information and services which were only possible on PC and Internet in the past. They are expected to be used by thirty million people in 2012 and people with disabilities can get easily information and location of disabled facilities using them. In this paper, we design a mobile information service system for person with disabilities, which provides various information and location of disabled facilities. We build information of disabled facilities using acquisition information through existing web sites and provide location based service with user's location. We also implement and service the proposed system and we show efficiency of our system.

By conducting multiple regression analysis, we analyzed the major independent factors affecting user convenience and emotional factors, and identified the important functional elements in the design of the VR device, so that the functional elements to be developed can be grasped in advance. As a result of the study, satisfaction of handling of VR bicycle and satisfaction of speed control by paddling were considered as the most important technical factors as independent factors which have the greatest influence on user convenience and emotional factor among technical satisfaction. Also, it is possible to increase the probabilities of successful design by setting a model that predicts user convenience and the emotional part from the technical factors.

자동차 산업이 발달함에 따라 운전자와 탑승자의 편의를 제공하기 위한 연구인 텔레매틱스 사업이 발달하고 있다. 최근 텔레매틱스의 연구는 기존의 사용자에게 편의를 제공하는 것에서 사용자의 안전 및 운전 편의에 초점이 맞추어지고 있다. 본 논문은 RFID를 이용하여 도로와 자동차간의 통신을 통한 교통상황 제공 및 대처 시스템에 대해 기술 한다. 본 논문에서 제안되는 시스템을 통해 운전자는 전방의 도로 상황을 미리 인지하고 대응함으로써, 운전자의 안전 주행을 도와준다.

인터넷상에는 다양한 온라인 쇼핑몰들이 존재한다. 그러나 쇼핑몰의 다양성으로 인해 사용자들의 혼란은 오히려 증가하고 있으며, 최근에는 다양한 쇼핑몰들을 하나로 통합하여 서비스를 제공하는 시스템이 많이 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 그러나 통합 서비스를 제공하는 대부분의 시스템들은 사용자 개인의 성향은 고려하지 않고 모든 사용자에 대해 일괄적인 서비스를 제공함으로서, 결과에 대한 만족도는 사용자가 늘어날수록 감소하게 된다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 비교쇼핑에이전트는 시스템에서 제공하는 획일적인 서비스가 아닌 사용자 자신의 관심분야에 맞는 개인화 된 비교쇼핑에이전트를 구축함으로서 상품검색에서의 불필요한 시간과 노력의 낭비를 줄일 수 있도록 한다.

인간 생활의 편의를 위해 지능형 서비스 로봇에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 있지만, 인간과 로봇이 상호간에 소통할 수 있는 인터페이스나 애플리케이션 등의 개발은 미흡한 상태이다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하고 지능형 서비스 로봇의 대중화를 위하여 사용자 중심의 애플리케이션을 제안한다. 사용자 애플리케이션은 각 시스템들의 정보를 분석하여 제어하는 부분을 담당하고, 사용자의 명령을 블루투스 통신을 통해 로봇에게 전달하며, 로봇의 위치데이터 및 영상정보를 사용자에게 보여준다. 제안 시스템을 통해 로봇에 대한 전문지식이 없는 사용자도 로봇을 쉽게 제어할 수 있으며, 관리자는 원격지에서도 제어 및 모니터링이 가능하여 시스템 관리의 편의성을 제공한다.

본 논문에서는 현대인들의 일상생활 속 누적된 스트레스를 완화하고 사용자의 편의를 고려한 "아로마테라피를 지원하는 지능형 샤워부스" 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템의 주요 기능은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 적외선 온도 센서와 초음파 센서, 카메라를 통해 사용자의 신체 정보와 기분을 측정한다. 둘째, 측정된 사용자의 신체 정보를 반영하여 Linear actuator를 이용해 샤워기의 높낮이 및 수온을 자동으로 조절한다. 셋째, OpenCV와 앱 내에 만족도 평가를 통해 사용자의 기분에 따라 알맞은 아로마오일을 추천하고 이를 샤워기 필터에 주입한다. IoT기술과 연동된 샤워부스 시스템을 통해 사용자 컨디션에 맞춘 아로마테라피를 지원하여 현대인의 지친 심신 회복과 사용자 편의성이 증대될 것으로 기대된다.

The principle of human perception, behavior, and thought is presented in the traditional interface design study that is ease to use and increase the learn-ability. We believe that the usability is related to user's affection. The goal of this paper is to investigate how visual metaphor works in usability and affection in interface to analyse the effect of visual metaphor to user affection. Literature reviews for the concept of metaphor and affection design conducted. We analyse the effect to user's affection through think-aloud i.e. protocol analysis for metaphor.

A multi layered elastic analysis program, IDYSPAP, was developed. The objective of this study was to develop the IDYSPAP program on Graphic User Interface environment for field engineers using Visual Basic, which was considered span of multi-wheels and maximum 4 axles using superposition of linear elastic theorem. It is suggested that this study considers algorithm with dynamic properties of asphalt layer on various temperature and non-linear properties of subbase and subgrade on stress non-linearity for asphalt pavement structure. This Program was modified to divide asphalt layer automatically according to layer division concept. The developed program was verified with initial measuring data in test road sections of KEC (Korea Expressway Co.) using laboratory test results.

The purpose of this study aims to examine the effects of Career Development Center website users' recognition on contents characteristics (User Convenience, Information, Customer Service) on user responses (User Satisfaction, User Loyalty). According to the research result, first, Career Development Center of website contents characteristics explained 36.4% User satisfaction, it was affected significantly Information, User Convenience, and Customer Service in order. Second, Career Development Center of website contents characteristics explained 36.2% User loyalty, it was affected significantly Information, Customer Service, and User Convenience in order. Thus, it was important that Web site contents was improved the Users satisfaction and loyalty of Career Development Center Web site.
