Results show that self-directed learning ability(t=-3.76, p<.001) was significantly improved. In addition, critical thinking disposition and self-leadership(r=.730, p<.001), critical thinking disposition and self-directed learning ability (r=.701, p<.001), self-leadership and self-directed learning ability(r=.734 p<.001) had a statistically significant positive correlation between them. As a result of this study, it can be seen that the nursing course education applied to action learning has a positive effect on the self-directed learning ability of nursing college students. In the future, research is needed to confirm the effects of various teaching and learning methods.

This is a comparative study before and after a single group, targeting sophomore students taking a health assessment by applying flip learning at a nursing college in K city, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The final analysis consisted of 104 subjects, and the pre-post difference was analyzed by a paired sample test. As a result, self-directed learning ability (t=-3.23, p<.01), critical thinking disposition (t=6.381, p<.001), and academic self-efficacy (t=-4.62, p<.001) were all statistically significantly increased. Based on the results of this study, it was confirmed that the flip-learning method is an effective program to enhance the self-directed learning ability, critical thinking ability, and academic self-efficacy of nursing students. In the long run, the application of the flipped learning learner will play a role in improving the educational environment and strengthening the abilities of students.

This study was conducted on 280 nursing students between March 3th 2015 and March 10th. 2015. The data was analyzed by using SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Moral sensitivity significantly differed depending on one's experience in biomedical ethic education. Significant positive correlations were witnessed between critical thinking disposition and professional self-concept as well as between critical thinking disposition and moral sensitivity. Considering the results, the ways to develop critical thinking disposition and to ameliorate the current clinical training system are needed to firmly establish professional self-concept. Finally, I Suggest a study to develop and validate training program for the improvement of nursing students' moral sensitivity.

  • This study was conducted to develop and test effects of E-book based Flipped Learning education for nursing students. This study was one-group pretest-posttest design. The data were collected from 54 second-year nursing students in the located Y city and August 28 2017 to October 16 2017. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, paired t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS 20.0 program. The results showed that the program was effective in increasing the critical thinking disposition (t=-8.62, p<.001), academic self-efficacy (t=-9.62, p<.001) and major satisfaction (t=-8.11, p<.001). The result of the stepwise multiple regression indicates the critical thinking disposition predict 13.4% (F=9.22, p<.001) of major satisfaction. The result of the stepwise multiple regression indicates the critical thinking disposition predict 13.4% (F=9.22, p<.001) of major satisfaction. Therefore, strategies for enhancing critical thinking disposition is needed by applying various teaching and learning strategies for nursing students.

Participants were 191 nursing students in G city. Data collection was conducted from May 2 to 30, 2022. Data were collected with structured questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result of there were positive correlations between the learning satisfaction (r=.20, p=.005) and self-efficacy (r=.61, p<.001) that critical thinking. Factors affecting critical thinking of nursing college students were self-efficacy (𝛽=.66, p<.001), major of interest-very interesting (𝛽=.41, p<.001), learning satisfaction (𝛽=-.31, p<.001), Grade-third (𝛽=.26, p<.001), major of interest-interesting (𝛽=.21, p=.029), Grade-second (𝛽=.16, p<.001) and which explained 60.1% of the variance. Based on the results of this study, in order to promote critical thinking among nursing college students, it is necessary to by grade and the interest of major individual counseling and guidance. Also develop and implement various programs that can improve self-efficacy and class satisfaction.

  • This study investigated the mediating effect of critical thinking disposition on the relationship between ego resilience and self-leadership of nursing students. The subjects of the study were 193 third-year and fourth-year nursing students from three universities in G Province, and data were collected from November 1 to November 19, 2021. The collected data were subjected to descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. The mediation effect was analyzed using Baron and Kenny's three-step procedure, and the statistical significance of the mediation effect was verified using the Sobel test. As a result of this study, self-leadership was positively correlated with ego resilience(r=.43, p<.001) and critical thinking disposition(r=.51, p<.001), and ego resilience was positively correlated with critical thinking disposition(r =.58, p<.001). It was found that there was a partial mediating effect of critical thinking disposition in the relationship between ego resilience and self-leadership(Sobel test: Z=5.05, p<.001). Therefore, in order to increase the self-leadership of nursing students, an integrated approach is needed to improve ego resilience and critical thinking disposition.

  • The purpose of this study was to introduce a practical model to enhance creative and critical thinking skills through hypotheses generating activities for students. The 2007 Science National Curricula stresses the need for the enhancement of creative thinking skills for our students. The definition for the creativity in the narrow sense is the divergent thinking skills. The definition of the critical thinking skills is the strong sense of those skills. This model shows the use of the divergent thinking skills and convergent thinking skills together. The divergent thinking skills has been developed by making three alternative explanations about the causal question within a group of students by active discussion. The following procedure includes the selection of the most provable of the three explanations within a group of students also by active discussions. This process needs convergent thinking skills as well as critical thinking skills. This model can be used easily by exchanging from the one explanation about the causal question in any inquiry teaching strategy to three explanations about one. Although the partial modified strategy shows a small difference from any inquiry teaching strategy, but the effect of the enhancement of the creative thinking skills for our students shows significantly better (p<.05). More detailed study will be carried out in the near future.

  • This study examined the influence of self-efficacy and critical thinking disposition on the self-leadership of nursing students. The research subjects were114 nursing students in D city and K province. The data werecollected from November 9 to November 27, 2015, and analyzed by an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and Stepwise multiple regression using the IBM SPSS/Win 20.0 program. The results showed that self-efficacy was 3.73, critical thinking disposition was 3.73, and self-leadership was 3.73. The self-leadership has positive correlations with self-efficacy and critical thinking disposition. Self-efficacy(${\beta}=.277$, p<.008), critical thinking disposition(${\beta}=.274$, p=.006), grade(${\beta}=.273$, p<.001), religion(${\beta}=.163$, p=.023),motivation of nursing(${\beta}=-.155$, p=.033) explained 45.6% of total variance of self-leadership of nursing students. The most significant predictor of self-leadership were self-efficacy, followed by critical thinking disposition. Therefore, it is necessary to develop aneducation program to improve the self-efficacy and critical thinking disposition of nursing students.
