dynamic Analysis of Ring-Stiffened Axisymmetric Shells (링보강 축대칭 쉘 구조물의 동적 해석)

  • 자오방향 및 주변방향으로 피르스트레스트 하중이 작용된 축대칭 쉘 구조물을 기하학적으로 축대칭인 구조물의 특성을 최대한으로 이용할 수 있도록 회전 링요소로 모델화하였다 보강링 요소의 모델은 축대칭 쉘요소를 이용하였으며 본체 구조물과 절점에서 부착되있는 것으로 가정하여 이의 편심을 고려하였다 유체-구조물의 상호관계는 접촉면에서 구조물의 가속도에 비례한 부가질량으로 표현하였으며 부가질량은 유체를 비점성 비압축 및 비회전을 가정하여 유한요소법에 의해 구하였다 이에 대한 수치해석을 통하여 고유진동해석 및 지진하중을 주하중으로 한 동적해석을 실시하였다 프로그램을 통하여 해석한 결과를 프리스트레스 하중 하에서 고유진동수에 대한 정해와 비교한 결과 20개의 요소로 모델링한 경우에서도 정해와 근접한 해를 얻을 수 있었다 또한 내부유체가 있는 경우와 링보강을 한 경우에 대한 고유진동수를 문헌과 비교한 결과 근접한 해를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • In this paper the nonlinear free surface flows for an axisymmetric submerged body oscillating beneath the free surface are solved and the forces acting on the body are calculated. A boundary integral method is applied to solve the axisymmetric boundary value problem and the Runge-Kutta 4-th order method is used for the time stepping of the free surface location. The nonlinear forces acting on the axisymmetric body are computed and compared with published results.

  • This study investigates mainly on the technical development trend through the published papers, such as asymmetric metal spinning, metal spinning in heat treatment conditions and free mandrel spinning. Although the classical spinning, so called conventional, shear, tube spinning, uses the axisymmetric shaped mandrel(which is same inner shape of the final product), in new technologies the mandrel can be asymmetric one, spinning can be done without mandrel and also spinning is done with heat treatment together.

  • 강진에 의한 원전구조물의 동적해석시 지반의 비선형특성은 반드시 고려해야 할 사항이다. 지반의 비선형특성은 지반-구조계의 동적응답을 구하는 과정에서 가장 중요한 요소중의 하나며 이를 고려한 비선형 지진해석은 일반적으로 매우 복잡하고 정해를 구하기가 매우 어려운 문제다. 본 연구에서는 비선형 해법으로 널리 사용되고 있는 등가선형화방법을 사용하여 계측결과가 있는 TEPSCO 비선형 지진문제를 해석하였으며 이 방법의 정확도와 적용성을 분석하였다. 아울러 축대칭기법을 사용하여 비선형지진해석을 수행할때의 문제점에 관해서도 검토하였다.

  • Sach의 Boring out 측정방법은 튜브 또는 실린더 등의 축대칭 부품의 3차원 잔류 응력을 측정하는데 적용할 수 있다. 이 방법은 잔류응력이 층제거시 이완된 변형율로부터 결정된다는 원리에 근거하고 있다. 적용시 가정사항으로는 1) 잔류응력 분포가 축대칭이어야 하고 2) 응력 분포가 축방향을 따라 균일해야 한다는 것이다. 그러나 실제부품은 길이가 제한되어 있기 때문에 잔류응력 분포가 균일하다는 가정이 적용될 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 시편의 길이 대 외경 비를 변화시켰을 때 유한요소해석을 이용하여 층제거시 이완된 변형율로부터 계산된 측정값과 유한요소 해석값을 비교하여 이 측정방법의 적용한계와 타당성을 조사하였으며 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. Sach의 Boring out 측정방법을 적용하기 위해서는 부품의 외경 대 길이 비가 3이상일 경우 측정값과 해석값은 거의 일치하는 경향을 보이며 비가 증가할수록 측정오차가 줄어들 것으로 판단된다.

Numerical Study of Separated Nozzle Flows for Various Pressure Ratios (압력비에 따른 박리 노즐 유동의 수치적 해석)

  • Axisymmetric separated flows in a converging-diverging conical nozzle are investigated through numerical simulations for various pressure ratios. We employ AUSM scheme for spatial derivatives and Pulliam's 2nd order subiteration time stepping scheme for implicit time integration. Numerical results indicate that the separated flow structures are very complex when compared to the simple quasi-one dimensional flow. Depending on the pressure ratio, the flow within the nozzle is either separated or non-separated. Various separated flow patterns with distinctive features are illustrated and discussed in detail.

A Simple Analysis of the Cylindrical Shell Subjected to a Nonaxisymmetric Load (비축대칭 하중을 받는 원통형 쉘의 단순화 해석)

  • When one considers the property of the axisymmetry, an analysis of an axisymmetric shell subjected to unaxisymmetric loading can be employed to save time and computer memory space. If one considers the Fourier series of the circumference direction of loads and displacements, an axisymmetric tank subjected to a nonaxisymmetric load can be treated as a frame element. Using the Fourier series, the authors derived the stiffness matrix of the cylindrical shell subjected to unaxisymmetric loading by the usual finite element method, and converted the stiffness matrix of a frame element into a transfer matrix by rearranging the stiffness matrix to apply the transfer matrix method. Here the most significant purpose of this paper is to achieve the fewest number of simultaneous equations for analysing an axisymmetric shell subjected to a nonaxisymmetric load. The results of the proposed method of the analysis of the cylindrical shell subjected to a wind load and a water load show no differences when compared to the other methods.

Azisymmetric Nonlinear Consolidation Analysis for Drainage-Installed Compressible Deposits (배수재가 설치된 압축성 지반의 축대칭 비선형 압밀해석)

  • In order to accelerate the rate of consolidation settlement and to gain a required shear strength for a given soft clay deposit, the preloading technique combined with a vertical drainage system has been widely applied. In this'study, the theory of axisymmetric consolidation which considers the variation of compressibility and permeability during the conslidation process, has ben developed. A computer program named AXICON for the analysis of axisymmetric nonlinear consolidation is developed by adopting an explicit finite difference method. Smear and well resistance effects are also considered. The AXICON is capable of analyzing the consolidation behavior of multi -layered deposits and simulates time dependent loading sequence. The results of AXICON are validated with analytical solutions of Hansbo and Barron, and compared with insitu settlements and pore pressures measured in a soft clay deposit.

  • An axisymmetric shell element which includes the effects of the meridional and circumferential cable prestresses is developed. It is coded for personal computer by the maximum use of axisymmetic properties and the dynamic analysis is performed under the seismic exitations. A ring element is used to fully utilize the characteristics of the axisymmetric shell. The eigenvalue solutions using 20 elements under the initial prestresses are in good agreement with the exact solutions. The results of the seismic analysis show that the radial deflection under the meridional prestress is a little larger than that under the circumferential prestress. The finite element model developed in this study can be very useful to the design applications.

  • Linear composite theory as well as a finite element program is developed for axisymmetric elastomeric bearings. This study is limited to axisymmetrically loaded horizontal layered systems with linear, elastic, small' deformation conditions. A multiscale method is used in the development of the composite theory which enables us to model inhomogeneous layered composites as equivalent homogeneous, orthotropic material. Only continuity of the prime variables is required for the finite element analysis, allowing the use of simple $C_o$ elements whereas rather complicated theories presented in the past need more requirements. Four node isoparametric elements are used in the study. The developed theory of this paper is limited to linear conditions, however, the analysis can be extended to nonlinear behavior of flexible material in elastomeric bearing by using multiscale method presented here. Two numerical examples are examined and compared to the results of discrete and previously obtained composite analysis to verify the theory.
