  • Currently, land-based fish farms utilizing seawater have introduced and are utilizing various equipment such as real-time water quality monitoring systems, facility automation systems, and automated dissolved oxygen supply devices. Furthermore, data collected from various equipment in these fish farms produce structured and unstructured big data related to water quality environment, facility operations, and workplace visual information. The big data generated in the operational environment of fish farms aims to improve operational and production efficiency through the development and application of various methods. This study aims to develop a system for effectively analyzing and visualizing big data produced from land-based fish farms. It proposes a data visualization process suitable for use in a fish farm big data analysis system, develops big data visualization tools, and compares the results. Additionally, it presents intuitive visualization models for exploring and comparing big data with time-series characteristics.

  • Big data is widely used in customer relationship management, relationship marketing, financial business improvement, credit information and risk management. Moreover, as non-face-to-face financial transactions have become more active recently due to the COVID-19 virus, the use of financial big data is more demanded in terms of relationships with customers. In terms of customer relationship, financial big data has arrived at a time that requires an emotional rather than a technical approach. In relational marketing, it was necessary to emphasize the emotional aspect rather than the cognitive, rational, and rational aspects. Existing traditional financial data was collected and utilized through text-type customer transaction data, corporate financial information, and questionnaires. In this study, the customer's emotional image data, that is, atypical data based on the customer's cultural and leisure activities, is acquired through SNS and the customer's activity image is analyzed with an artificial intelligence CNN algorithm. Activity analysis is again applied to the annotated AI, and the AI big data model is designed to analyze the behavior model shown in the annotation.

  • Big data analysis is a technique for effectively analyzing unstructured data such as the Internet, social network services, web documents generated in the mobile environment, e-mail, and social data, as well as well formed structured data in a database. The most big data analysis techniques are data mining, machine learning, natural language processing, and pattern recognition, which were used in existing statistics and computer science. Global research institutes have identified analysis of big data as the most noteworthy new technology since 2011. Therefore, companies in most industries are making efforts to create new value through the application of big data. In this study, we analyzed using the Social Matrics which a big data analysis tool of Daum communications. We analyzed public perceptions of "Artificial Intelligence" keyword, one month as of May 19, 2018. The results of the big data analysis are as follows. First, the 1st related search keyword of the keyword of the "Artificial Intelligence" has been found to be technology (4,122). This study suggests theoretical implications based on the results.

  • Big data is one of the most spotlighted technological trends in these days, enabling new methods to handle huge volume of complicated data for a broad range of applications. Real-time network traffic analysis essentially deals with big data, which is comprised of different types of log data from various sensors. To tackle this problem, in this paper, we devise a big data based platform, RENTAP, to detect and analyse malicious network traffic. Focused on military network environment such as closed network for C4I systems, leading big data based solutions are evaluated to verify which combination of the solutions is the best design for network traffic analysis platform. Based on the selected solutions, we provide detailed functional design of the suggested platform.

  • Drought is caused by a combination of various hydrological or meteorological factor, so it is difficult to accurately assess drought event, but various drought indices have been developed to interpret them quantitatively. However, the drought indexes currently being used are calculated from the lack of a single variable, which is a problem that does not accurately determine the drought event caused by complex causes. Shortage of a single variable may not be a drought, but it is judged to be a drought. On the other hand, research on developing indices using unstructured data, which is widely used in big data analysis, is being carried out in other fields and proven to be superior. Therefore, in this study, we intend to calculate the drought index by combining unstructured data (news data) with weather and hydrologic information (rainfall and dam inflow) that are being used for the existing drought index, and to evaluate the utilization of drought interpretation through verification of the calculated drought index. The Clayton Copula function was used to calculate the joint drought index, and the parameter estimation was used by the calibration method. The analysis showed that the drought index, which combines unstructured data, properly expresses the drought period compared to the existing drought index (SPI, SDI). In addition, ROC scores were calculated higher than existing drought indices, making them more useful in drought interpretation. The joint drought index calculated in this study is considered highly useful in that it complements the analytical limits of the existing single variable drought index and provides excellent utilization of the drought index using unstructured data.

  • In this paper, we discuss the importance of what to analyze and what to predict using Big Data. The issue of how and where to apply a large amount of data that is accumulated in my daily life and which I am not aware of is a very important factor. There are many kinds of tasks that specify what to predict and how to use these data. Finding the most appropriate one is the way to increase the prediction probability. In addition, the data that are analyzed and predicted should be useful in real life to make meaningful data.

  • Big data analysis, in the large amount of data stored as the data warehouse which it refers the process of discovering meaningful new correlations, patterns, trends and creating new values. Thus, Big data analysis is an effective analysis of various big data that exist all over the world such as social big data, machine to machine (M2M) sensor data, and corporate customer relationship management data. In the big data era, it has become more important to effectively analyze not only structured data that is well organized in the database, but also unstructured big data such as the internet, social network services, and explosively generated web documents, e-mails, and social data in mobile environments. By the way, a meta analysis refers to a statistical literature synthesis method from the quantitative results of many known empirical studies. We reviewed a total of 750 samples among 50 studies published on the topic related as IDT between 2000 and 2017 in Korea.
