Improving Estimative Capability of Software Development Effort using Radial Basis Function Network (RBF 망 이용 소프트웨어 개발 노력 추정 성능향상)

  • An increasingly important facet of software development is the ability to estimated the associated coast and effort of development early in the development life cycle. In spite of the most generally sued procedures for estimation of the software development effort and cost were linear regression analysis. As a result of the software complexity and various development environments, the software effort and cost estimates that are grossly inaccurate. The application of nonlinear methods hold the greatest promise for achieving this objects. Therefore this paper presents an RBF (radial basis function) network model that is able to represent the nonlinear relation for software development effort, The research describes appropriate RBF network modeling in the context of a case study for 24 software development projects. Also, this paper compared the RBF network model with a regression analysis model. The RBF network model is the most accuracy of all.

  • Recently, it is emphasized importance of family. The new family organize including husband and wife are created by caused marriage, they organize new family including wife's home and husband's home. As a result, they may experience about conflict or peace between new family and previous family. The research of family mainly have been studied in the social science side. However, because researchers of social science deals with linguistic emotion status, there is no mathematical modeling for family relationship. In this paper, one of the nonlinear research for social subject, we modify love model of Romeo and Juliet. Then we propose novel family relationship model for parent-in-law and daughter (or son)-in- law relation. We also confirm chaotic behavior or nonlinear behavior by time series and phase portrait.

  • A Nonlinear model-based Hybrid Controller (NHC) is developed which consists of the adaptive proportional-integral-feedforward (PIF) gains and variable structure controller. The controller has the robustness against modeling uncertainty and is applied to the trajectory tracking control of single-input, single-output nonlinear systems. The essence of the scheme is to divide the control into four different terms. Namely, the adaptive P-I-F gains and variable structure controller are used to accomplish the specific control actions by each terms. The robustness of the controller is guaranteed by the feedback of estimated uncertainty and the performance specification given by the adaptation of PIF gains using the second method of Lyapunov. The variable structure controller is incorporated to regulate the initial peak of the tracking error during the parameter adaptation is not settled yet. The newly developed NHC method is applied to the power tracking control of a nuclear reactor and the simulation results show great improvement in tracking performance compared with the conventional model-based control methods.

  • 본 논문은 측정 실패가 존재하는 비선형 시스템에 대한 동적 출력 궤환 퍼지 제어기의 설계에 대해 연구한다. 비선형 시스템을 Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) 퍼지 모델 기법을 이용하여 퍼지 시스템으로 모델링하고, 이를 바탕으로 동적 출력 궤환 퍼지 제어기를 설계한다. 폐루프 시스템의 안정도 조건을 선형 행렬 부등식 (LMI)로 나타낸다. 그리고 모의실험을 통해 제안된 제어기의 성능을 파악한다.

A Flame Transfer Function with Nonlinear Phase (비선형 위상을 가지는 화염전달함수)

  • In this paper we propose a new frame transfer function model describing the variations of a heat release rate in response to an external flow oscillation in gas turbine systems. A critical difference of our model compared to the so-called $n-{\tau}$ model which has been widely used for a prediction of combustion instability (CI), is that our model is able to describe a nonlinear relation between phase and frequency. In contrast, the phase part of the $n-{\tau}$ model is a pure time delay and thus the phase should be a linear function of frequency, which is inconsistent with many experimental results of real combustion systems. For an illustration, our new model is applied to experimental data and the effect of phase nonlinearity is investigated in the context of combustion instability.

  • 본 논문은 비선형 goal programming을 이용하여 구조 최적화 문제들의 해를 얻는 방법을 제시한 다. 이 방법은 다기준 최적화의 도구로 사용되는데 그 까닭은 goal programming이 목적함수와 제한조건 등을 정의하는데 있어서 발생하는 난점들을 제거해 주며, 또한 설계목적의 우선 순위를 다루는 능력을 갖추고 있기 때문이다. 비선형 goal programming에 대한 구조 최적화의 모델이 제시된다. Hooke-Jeeves의 pattern 탐색, 수정된 Hooke-Jeeves의 Pattern 탐색, 그리고 Powell의 공액방향 탐색방향을 이용한 세 가지의 비선형 goal programming 들이 개발되고 토의된다. 설계 도구로서 이 방법의 유효성을 논증하기 위하여 사례의 해를 모색하며 이를 다른 연구결과와 비교 검토한다.

  • 본 연구에서 구현하고자 하는 선박의 회두각 제어의 경우 파도, 바람, 조류 등의 외란의 영향을 많이 받고 있을 뿐만 아니라 그 운동 특성 역시 비선형이므로 적절한 파라미터의 선정과 제어기 구성에 어려움이 따른다. 이의 해결을 위해 K. M Passino 등에 의해 비선형 특성을 지닌 기준 모델 적응 퍼지 알고리즘을 적용하여 제어기 구성을 시도한바 있고, 국내에서도 김종화 등에 의해 유사한 방법이 시도되어졌다. 본 연구에서는 이상의 시도에서 기준 모델에 의한 제어기 파라미터의 동정의 방법으로 사용한 M.I.T 룰 대신 일반적인 유전 알고리즘에 의해 퍼지 제어기의 파라미터를 동정하고자 한다. 유전 알고리즘에 기반한 기준 모델 적응 퍼지 제어기(MRGAFC: Model Reference Genetic Adaptive Fuzzy Controller) 알고리즘을 제안하며, 이의 검증을 위하여 화물선 회두각의 조향문제에 이를 적용하여 종래의 방법들과 비교를 수행할 것이다.

Estimation of the Fundamental Matrix using a Non-linear Minimization Technique and Its Accuracy Analysis (비선형 최소화에 의한 F행렬 추정 및 정확도 분석)

  • It is possible to extract a 3D models from its multiple views using the self-calibration. Though it is possible to construct 3D models of objects from their multiple views, accuracy of 3D models depends on the fundamental matrix estimated between two views. In this paper, we show the fundamental matrix accuracy can be improved by taking a non-linear minimization technique. Furthermore, the corresponding points which are completely mismatches or have greater discrepancy errors in their locations, reduce the fundamental matrix accuracy. Thus, applying the Monte Carlo technique and the non-linear minimization Levenberg-Marquardt method to remove the outliers, we can estimate the fundamental matrix with the higher accuracy.

  • IPMSM의 자속은 전류의 크기와 상호간섭 성분에 의해 변하는 비선형성을 가지고 있다. 이런 비선형성 때문에 정확한 토크 제어가 불가능 하다. 이것은 토크 값을 발생하기 위한 정확한 전류의 값을 계산하기가 불가능 하다. 그래서 현재 토크제어가 적용되는 모터에서는 Table을 만들어서 사용한다. 하지만 Table을 만들기 위해서는 실험 장비와 많은 실험을 진행해야 하는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 IPMSM의 자속 모델을 비선형으로 만들어 비선형성이 고려된 토크 식을 제안한다.

  • This study proposes the more improved mathematical model than conventional that for the 3-DOF Helicopter System in Quanser Inc., and checks the validity about the proposed model by performance comparison between the controller based on the conventional model and that based on the proposed model. Research process is next : First, analyze the dynamics for the 3-DOF helicopter system and establish the linear mathematical model. Second, check the eliminated nonlinear-elements in linearization process for establishing the linear mathematical model. And establish the improved mathematical model including the parameters corresponding to the eliminated nonlinear-elements. At that time, it is used for modeling that Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm the meta-heuristic global optimization method. Finally, design the controller based on the proposed model, and verify the validity of the proposed model by comparison about the experimental results between the designed controller and the controller based on the conventional model.
