  • 적분연산행렬은 구간연속 직교함수들이 시스템 동정, 해석, 제어기 설계 등의 분야에 널리 이용될 수 있는 계기를 제공하였다. 특히 블럭펄스 함수는 연산이 간단하기 때문에 선형 시변계와 비선형계 등의 제어문제 둥에 널리 이용되어 오고 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 블럭펄스 함수 적분 연산행렬과 비교했을 때 적분오차를 줄이는 적분연산행렬을 소개하였으며, 이를 이용하여 고차 시스템의 응답에 가장 최적한 응답을 갖는 저차 시스템의 응답을 갖도록 최적응답 방법에 적용하여 대수적인 방법으로 저차 시스템의 파라메터를 구하는 알고리즘을 제시함으로서 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper presents a method of hierarchical state estimation of the time-varying linear systems via Block-pulse function(BPF). When we estimate the state of the systems where noise is considered, it is very difficult to obtain the solutions because minimum error variance matrix having a form of matrix nonlinear differential equations is included in the filter gain calculation. Therefore, hierarchical approach is adapted to transpose matrix nonlinear differential equations to a sum of low order state space equation from and Block-pulse functions are used for solving each low order state space equation in the form of simple and recursive algebraic equation. We believe that presented methods are very attractive nd proper for state estimation of time-varying linear systems on account of its simplicity and computational convenience.   • In this paper, we presented a new algebraic iterative algorithm for the optimal control of the nonlinear systems. The algorithm is based on tow steps. The first step transforms optimal control problem into a sequence of linear optimal control problem using the quasilinearization method. In the second step, TPB(two point boundary condition problem) is solved by algebraic equations instead of differential equations using BPF(block pulse functions). The proposed algorithm is simple and efficient in computation for the optimal control of nonlinear systems. In computer simulation, the algorithm was verified through the optimal control design of Van del pole system and Volterra Predatory-prey system.

  • Some resent papers deals with the solution of LTI singular systems described in state-space via orthogonal functions. There are some complexity to derive the solution because all the previous works[2]-[5] used orthogonal function's integral operation. Therefore, in this paper, some new results are introduced by using a differential operation of orthogonal function to solve the LTI singular systems.

  • For the last two decades, many researchers have interests in orthogonal functions by reason of its applicability on linear system analysis. But they only used integral operation matrix of orthogonal functions to solve the state space equations.   • The pantograph should supply the electrification equipments of a train with the current from the overhead catenary system over a broad range of speeds. For a high-speed electrical train, the dynamic interaction between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system causes the variation of the contact force. As the operational speed increases, the variation of the contact force increases. The contact force variation can cause contact losses, arcing and sparking. If the spark happens between the pantograph and the overhead catenary system, the EMI(electro magnetic interface) and noises may occur. After all, the quality of current collection is deteriorated. This paper deals with the dynamic characteristics analysis between pantograph and catenary system using block pulse function.

  • This paper presents a algorithm of hierarchical approach to tracking problems for high order systems via BPF. In controlling the n-th oder systems for tracking problem, TPBVP has the 2n-th order. Generally, it is very difficult to otain the solutions due to its high order. In order to solve this fact, hierarchical approach is applied. And using the BPF Transformation, we simply obtained the solutions of decomposed low order TPBVP from the recursive algebraic equations.

  • This paper proposes a algebraic parameter determination of MRAC (Model Reference Adaptive Control) controller using block Pulse functions and block Pulse function's differential operation. Generally, adaption is performed by solving differential equations which describe adaptive low for updating controller parameter. The proposes algorithm transforms differential equations into algebraic equation, which can be solved much more easily in a recursive manner. We believe that proposes methods are very attractive and proper for parameter estimation of MRAC controller on account of its simplicity and computational convergence.

  • This paper presents a design method of Kalman Filter on continuous nonlinear stochastic system via BPF(Block Pulse Function). When we design Kalman Filter on nonlinear stochastic system, we must linearize this systems. In this paper, we uses the adaptive approach scheme and BPF for linearizing of nonlinear system and solving the Riccati differential equation which is usually guite difficult. This method proposed in this paper is simple and have computational advantages. Furthermore this method is very applicable to analysis and design of Kalman Filter on nonlinear stochastic systems.
