패션제품의 상징적 소비성향에 따른 브랜드 애착과 브랜드 충성도와의 관계 (The Relations between Brand Attachment and Brand Loyalty with regard to Symbolic Consumption Propensity toward Fashion Goods)

  • The Purpose of this study is to research the relations between brand attachment and brand loyalty depending on symbolic consumption propensity toward fashion goods. Subjects were 391 women in their twenties to fifties who live in Gyungsang Province and have purchased the fashion goods. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis, and one-way layout variance analysis were conducted using SPSS 13.0 as data analysis. The findings from the analysis are described in the following: Uniqueness and materialism out of the symbolic consumption propensity toward fashion goods had positive effects on the elements of brand attachment such as love, care, and knowledge. Brand loyalty was influenced positively by social face sensitivity and materialism among symbolic consumption toward fashion goods.

패션 명품 브랜드에 대한 구매행동 연구 (The Effects of Variables on Fashion Luxury Brand Purchasing Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine fashion luxury brand purchasing behavior among young women, and to find variables which influenced on their behavior. 993 women living in Seoul and its suburb were surveyed for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, ANOVA, and regression were used for this study. As the result, approximately 66.3% of respondents had purchased fashion luxury products before such as Burburry, DKNY, and Louis Vuitton. Generally, the frequencies of purchasing toward the luxury products were associated with materialism, conspicious consumption, reference group influence, and ethnocentrism. Also, results revealed that materialism and conspicuous consumption accounted for 43% of the explained variance in the frequency of purchasing products. Based on these results, fashion marketing strategies would be suggested.

럭셔리와 SPA 플래그십 스토어 체험 -점포 감정 및 충성도에 미치는 효과- (Flagship Store Experience of Luxury and SPA Brands -Effect on Store Emotion and Loyalty-)

  • This study estimated a structural model for examining causal relationships among flagship store experiences, store emotion and loyalty, and to compare the structural models between luxury and fast fashion SPA brands. A total of 416 responses were collected from consumers who had experience with a variety of luxury and SPA flagship stores. Findings confirmed that flagship store experience consisted of four factors, such as sensory, affective, intellectual and behavioral experiences. Sensory and behavioral experiences had positive effects on store emotion that influenced loyalty. Affective and cognitive experiences influenced loyalty. All aspects of experiences explained store emotion or loyalty for luxury flagship stores; however, two of experiences (i.e., sensory and affective) were important to determine store emotion or loyalty for SPA flagship stores. The study discussed managerial implications for fashion brands to develop and manage flagship stores.

물질주의와 해외 명품브랜드 구매 태도: 소비자 자국주의의 조절 효과 (Materialism and Attitude toward Purchasing Foreign Luxury Brands: The Moderating Effect of Consumer Ethnocentrism)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of materialism on the attitude toward purchasing foreign luxury brands and the moderating effect of consumer ethnocentrism on this impact. Data were gathered by surveying university students living in Seoul metropolitan area using convenient sampling, and 325 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analysing data, confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis were conducted using structural equation modeling. Results showed that success factor of materialism gave rise to negative attitude toward purchasing foreign luxury brands while centrality factor of materialism spurred positive attitude. Consumer ethnocentrism also showed a significant effect as a moderator on the relationship between materialism and attitude: The relationship between materialism and attitude was stronger among subjects who had lower consumer ethnocentric tendencies than among subjects who had higher consumer ethnocentric tendencies.

스포츠웨어 추구혜택 세분시장에 따른 국내 뫼 해외브랜드에 대한 태도, 쇼핑태도, 구매행동에 관한 연구 (Sportswear Benefit Segments: Attitude toward Domestic and Imported Brands, Shopping Attitude, and Purchasing Behavior)

  • The purposes of this research were to segment consumer groups according to sportswear benefits sought and to find the differences among the groups in regard to domestic vs imported brand attitudes, internet vs department store attitudes, and sportswear purchasing behavior. The subjects used for the research were 773 male and female consumers who were residents in Seoul. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan test. The results showed that there were four sportswear benefit segments: figure compensation/ ostentation, individuality, comfort/function, and youth-oriented groups. Statistical analyses showed that the four sportswear benefit segments were different in regard to imported brand attitudes, department store attitudes, and sportswear purchasing behavior. For example, figure compensation/ ostentation segment had more positive attitude toward imported brands and department stores, considered design and advertisement important as sportswear selection criteria, and had a highest expenditure on sportswear purchase. The implications of the research were discussed.

백화점의 브랜드 개성이 점포태도와 점포충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Brand Personality on Department Store Attitude and Store Loyalty)

  • This research examines the impact of brand personality dimensions on store attitude and store loyalty for department stores. A total of 431 customers participated in the online survey. The participants were women in their 20's to 50's with experience of purchasing apparel from four major department stores. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, reliability test, and structural equation modeling with PASW 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Analyses revealed three dimensions of the brand personality of department stores: prestige, passion, and sincerity. Among the three dimensions of brand personality, 'passion' and 'sincerity' were shown to be the most influential factors affecting department store attitude. The results suggest that passionate and sincere customers tend to exhibit favorable store attitudes. Customers with more favorable store attitudes then are more likely to express great store loyalty than those with less favorable attitudes. An analysis of the effect of brand personality on attitudes toward department stores provides implications for department store brand management strategies.

  • 패션트렌드와 소비자감성에 적합한 패션소재를 기획, 선정하는데 도움을 주는 컴퓨터 기반의 의사 결정시스템이 개발되었다. 패션소재로서의 유용성을 결정하는 속성을 두께, 무게, 밀도, 광택, 색상등으로 한정한 후 다속성 모델을 구축하였다. 각 속성들의 가중치는 의류 매장의 방문객 대상의 설문 조사에 의해 결정되었으며, 한 소재의 최조 가치는 퍼지 추론 시스템에 의해 계산되었다. 구축된 “퍼지-다속성” 모델을 이용하여 패션소재의 총 가치를 i) 품질로부터의 가치, ii) 품질을 기반으로 부가되는 가치, iii) 품질과는 무관하게 형성되는 브랜드 가치의 세가지 요소롤 분해하였다. 시중의 유명 스포츠 의류 브랜드 2종을 선정하여 위의 모델을 적용하였다. 위의 모델은 컴퓨터 시스템으로 개발되어, 특정 소재의 기본정보가 입력이 되면 그에 해당하는 감성정보로 변환되는 소재 평가 시스템과 역으로 원하는 감성 어휘를 입력하면 그에 해당하는 소재를 제안하는 소재 기획 시스템의 독립적인 두 요소로 구성된다.

브랜드 사전지식, 사전 브랜드 태도, 지각된 품질이 VMD 인지와 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Brand Previous Knowledge, Previous Brand Attitude, Perceived Quality on VMD Cognition and Attitude)

  • The major aim of this study was to find out the influence of brand previous knowledge, previous brand attitude, perceived quality on VMD cognition and attitude. Eight brands were selected as experimental stimuli brands for this study. A total of 320 questionnaires were obtained from college students living in Daegu. Using factor analysis, each of brand previous knowledge, previous brand attitude, perceived quality, VMD attitude were extracted one factor.VMD cognition were divided into 5 factors; Coordination, Attractiveness, Fashionability, Fitness, and Functionality. The results revealed that previous brand attitude and perceived quality affected VMD cognition and VMD attitude, while brand previous knowledge did not affect VMD cognition and VMD attitude. Therefore, when companies related to fashion investigate the effect of VMD, they should consider the previous brand attitude and perceived quality of their brands.

한방화장품 추구혜택이 브랜드 선택에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of the Benefits Sought of Herbal Cosmetics on Brand Choice)

  • The aims of this study were to identify benefits sought for herbal cosmetics and its significance in influencing consumers' attitude and brand choice. A questionnaire was distributed to 900 women between 20 and 50 years old who had purchased herbal cosmetics from Nov. 6, 2006 to Dec. 15, 2006. SPSS 12.0 package was used for data analysis. Factor analysis, $X^2$-test, frequency, percentage, multiple regression analysis were utilized. The results were as follows: 1. The benefits that consumer was seeking from herbal cosmetics could be classified into 9 dimensions; special function, brand, nutritional reinforcement, economy, scarcity, feeling, fragrance, fashion and skin fitness. 2. All of the above benefits sought except economy and fashion had positive impact on consumers' attitude of herbal cosmetics. 3. There was a correlation between types of benefits sought by consumers and their brand selection.

  • This research examined how customers evaluate fashion brand collaborations in speculating the collaboration factors, product, model, and designer. Respondents evaluated 8 different collaborate case cards from 1 to 8, presenting a certain fashion brand, who had recently teamed up with various kinds of product companies for collaboration. Product was found as the most important factor in evaluating the collaboration case cards, analyzed through Conjoint Analysis. Respondents segmented additionally by clothing involvement valued different collaboration factors; products for the high clothing involvement group and messenger and designer for the low clothing involvement group. All the segments and respondents chose the best the card presenting blue jeans, Mr. Chang, and B.S. Choi, as similarity for products, fame for mdoel, and similarity for designer, respectively.
