An Anisotropic Hardening Constitutive Model for Dilatancy of Cohesionless Soils : I. Formulation (사질토의 체적팽창을 고려한 비등방경화 구성모델 : I. 정식화)

  • This study is focused on the constitutive model in order to represent brittleness and dilatancy of cohesionless soils. The constitutive model was proposed on the basis of an anisotropic hardening rule with generalized isotropic hardening rule. The shape of yield surface is a simple cylinder type in stress space and it makes the model practically useful. Flow rule was approximated by a concrete function on dilatancy. A peak stress ratio was defined to model brittle stress-strain relationships. The proposed model was formulated and implemented to calculate the stress-strain relationship from triaxial tests. In the companion paper the proposed model will be verified by comparison with the triaxial test results.

  • The hydraulic pump for a Electro-hydrostatic Actuator for aircrafts should be able to quickly feed large volume of oil into hydraulic cylinder in order to reduce the response time. On the other hand, it should be also able to precisely dispense small amount of oil by low-speed operation so that the steady state position control error of the EHA can be accurately compensated. This paper is focused on the investigation how the plasma coating surface treatment of cylinder barrel with CrSiN can contribute to the reduction of low-speed friction torque of a bent-axis type piston pump. The results showed that the reduction of the friction torque was not remarkable, but that the anti-wear characteristics of the CrSiN-coated cylinder barrel were much better that those of the original one.

  • In the ongoing debates over the need to identify new sources of energy and to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases. Hydrogen has emerged as one of the most promising alternatives due to its emissions from the vehicle being virtually zero. The governments have identified the development of regulations and standards as one of the key requirements for commercialization of hydrogen-fueled vehicles. Regulations and standards will helpful in overcoming technological barriers to commercialization. Developments of a technique for safety assessment of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle(HFCV) includes four tasks, research for regulation system and policy, hydrogen safety, vehicle operation safety and protection against high-voltage. The objective is to establish a technique for safety assessment and amend safety standards for HFCV and consequently reflect research results to vehicle management policy. We devised safety standards and evaluation techniques with regard to high-pressure gas and high voltage of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Korean Motor Vehicle Safety Standards(KMVSS) for HFCV was amended to June 10, 2014. including the results of the safety assessment technology for high-voltage and hydrogen characteristics.

  • As the statistical data, the electrical shock accidents by electrical power facilities of 22.9kV substation is about 100 per years which shows very high occupation rate of 11.3%. There is many hazard factors in this place using high voltage because electrical accident can be occurred in near live part as well as contact. Regarding electrical shock accident in 22.9kV substation as there are many cases that have not been exposed industrial disaster, it is very hard to know exact causes of such accidents in many cases, and therefore it is difficult to set up effective preventive measures. Therefore in this paper, it is intended to prepare the basic data to establish more effective preventive measures of electric shock accidents in 22.9kV substation through understanding the real conditions based on investigation and analysis in various types.

  • The basic study was performed on the mechanical analysis of frost and heave using program FROST by CRREL, U.S. army corps of engineers. The characteristics of frost heaving in pavement was analyzed by considering climate, pavement sections and subgrade soil conditions in Korea. Water tables were located at the depth of 0.35m, 2m and 3.35m from subgrade. Inputs were evaluated inevitably from the existing references. As a result frost heave and depth were evaluated with respect time. Maximum frost heave decreased lowering the water table and maximum frost depth was less than 15cm from subgrade. Frost action did not affect seriously on the analysis sections.

  • C CdTe와 HgCdTe는 광전소자나 태양전지,x 선 및 y 선 감지 소자 그리고 적외선 감지소 자로의 웅용둥으로 인하여 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 광전소자를 제작함에 있어서 깊은 준위나 얄은 준위에 있는 몇들은 운반자 수명에 매우 큰 영향을 미치고 있음에도 불구하고 광전도도 측정에 의한 운반자 수명 연구에 대하여는 보고된 것이 별로 없다. 이에 본 논문에서는 CdTe 시료의 광전도도를 측정하여 운반자 수명 및 깊은 준위의 위치를 알아보았다 M MBE방법을 이용하여 CdTe 기판위에 In을 도핑한 CdTe를 성장하였다. 광전도 붕괴(PCD) 측정은 300 K에서부터 400 K까지 온도를 변화시켜주면서 측정을 하였고 광원으로서 G GaP- LED를 사용하였으며 전압 신호를 읽기 위하여 Tektronix 2430A 오실로스코프를 이용하 였다 .. Fig. 1. 에서 보인바와 같이 광전도 붕괴곡선은 접선으로 나타낸 하나의 지수 함수적 붕 괴(a2exp( -t/ r 2))보다는 설선으로 나타낸 두 개의 지수함수적 붕괴(alexp( νr 1)+a2exp( -νr 2)) 가 더욱 잘 실험결과와 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 것은 과잉 전하에 대한 깊은준위를 가 지고 있는 반도체물질에서 일반적으로 관찰되는 것으로 시료가 n 형이기 때문에 소수 운반자 인 정공의 벚에 의한 것으로 생각된다 .. Fig. 2. 에서는 운반자 수명의 온도에 대한 변화를 나타 낸 것이다. 온도가 증가함에 따라 운반자 수명이 감소하는 경항올 보이고 있으며 이것올 이용 하여 딪익 활성화 에너지를 계산 하여 본 결과 0.35 eV 와 0.43 eV염을 알수 있었다.

  • The hydrodynamic impact problem was studied from 1929 to recent. Especially, Impact pressure is important for the design of the ships and offshore structure and spacecrafts, and under weapons. A ship traveling at high speed or in heavy sea has its bow and bottom damaged by high pressure caused by impact with and detachment from the water surface. Considerable impact may also occur when large waves hit the cross member or deck plate of an offshore structure within the splash zone. Many engineering cases require consideration of impact pressure, the movement of objects and change of the flow field. This study was obtained the pressure distribution of a falling body that is deadrise angle $0^{\circ}$ and deadrise angle $5^{\circ}$ upon a water surface by the experiment with the impact machine. The theoretical equation was obtained the air region and the interface and the water region which devide 3 parties between the body and the water surface for an investigation of the complete phenomena. Pressure distributions and histories compare favorably with available experimental data. The numerical results are similar to the experimental results for the impact force type with Fo(1+$cos{\pi}t/tc$).

  • In order to increase the stability of Ginkgo Biloba extract, we investigated the effect of three different fill formulations(SBO, PEG400, and PEG600 fill types) on the stability of Ginkgo Biloba extract in three different shell formulations (ssmb, smb and gmb shell types). The stabilities of each types were evaluated by testing their disintegration time sunder the condition of $40^{\circ}C$, 75% relative humidity(RH) for 8 weeks. The formulation of Ginkgo Biloba extract with ssmb and PEG600 formulation type showed the best stability among them.

  • Active control of on-orbit spacecraft jitter is a significant problem for future spacecraft mission requiring stringent pointing performance. Jitter is major disturbance source degrading payload pointing performance. Both passive and active jitter isolation techniques have been studied during the last decade. We present active jitter isolation for a model device in this work. The device provides active control capability by 3 degree-of-freedom control of payload in feedback control strategy. Mathematical modeling of the device is pursued which is naturally used for a baseline controller design. Simulation results are used to validate the designed control law.

  • Constitutive relations for lightly overconsolidated state of clayey soils. as well as normally consolidated state of those, play an important role in the analyses of geotechnical structures in clay deposits. For the practical point of view, a constitutive model applicable to lightly overconsolidated soils should be developed to easily evaluate the model parameters, and to precisely predict the various behavior of OC soils. For that purpose, a constitutive model for the lightly overconsolidated soil behavior has been proposed to rep- resent the undrained behavior which can be normalized using equivalent pressure, p. , Yielding within the initial yield surface is modeled exclusively using the given normally consolidated model parameters only. Furthermore, the proposed model can be applied to consider the effects of overconsolidation, secondary consolidation, and stress relaxation. The measured behavior in undrained triaxial tests has been Predicted easily and precisely in comparison with other models.
