Complex nested U-Net-based speech enhancement model using a dual-branch decoder (이중 분기 디코더를 사용하는 복소 중첩 U-Net 기반 음성 향상 모델)

  • This paper proposes a new speech enhancement model based on a complex nested U-Net with a dual-branch decoder. The proposed model consists of a complex nested U-Net to simultaneously estimate the magnitude and phase components of the speech signal, and the decoder has a dual-branch decoder structure that performs spectral mapping and time-frequency masking in each branch. At this time, compared to the single-branch decoder structure, the dual-branch decoder structure allows noise to be effectively removed while minimizing the loss of speech information. The experiment was conducted on the VoiceBank + DEMAND database, commonly used for speech enhancement model training, and was evaluated through various objective evaluation metrics. As a result of the experiment, the complex nested U-Net-based speech enhancement model using a dual-branch decoder increased the Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (PESQ) score by about 0.13 compared to the baseline, and showed a higher objective evaluation score than recently proposed speech enhancement models.

  • 신설 선로와 기존 선로와의 계통 연계시 상 배치에 따라 연계 후 발생하는 급격한 영상전류의 증가로 인하여 지락계전기의 동작 같은 계통에 악 영향을 미치는 현상이 일어난다. 이 논문은 송전선로의 연가철탑을 이용한 역상배치 시행여부에 따른 계통 해석과 상시 불평형률을 문경 변전소 신설에 따라 10월 가압 목표로 시공 중인 송전선로의 $1{\pi}$분기와 관련하여 ${\pi}$분기시의 이상적인 송전선로 상 배열을 분석한다.

  • 내장형 프로세서에 대한 기능요구사항이 날로 증가함에 따라 데이터 처리량을 늘리기 위한 많은 연구들이 지속되어 왔으며, 그중 파이프라인의 컨트롤 해저드로 인한 성능저하를 최소화하기 위한 분기 예측 기법이 다양한 방식으로 제안되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 분기예측 방법으로서 구현이 간단하고 분기 예측률이 높은 BTB 방식을 32비트 프로세서에 적용하고, 해당 프로세서를 사용하는 SoC 플랫폼을 구성하여 분기예측기법 사용으로 인한 성능향상을 측정하고, 0.18um ASIC 공정을 적용하여 SoC 플랫폼을 구현한 결과를 제시한다.

  • 광 집적회로를 설계하는데 있어서 Y-형 분배기는 광에너지를 분배 혹은 결합시키는 중요한 역할을 한다. 그러나 이 소자는 분기 부분에서의 큰 손실과 공정상에서의 두 분기사이를 식각하는 것은 쉽지 않다는 단점을 갖고 있다. Y-형 분배기와 더불어 광신호의 분리와 결합에 있어서 널리 사용되는 MMI 분배기 소자는효율적인 분배 기능을 유도하기 위해서 MMI 내에 모드수가 많아져야 하는데, 이런 방식의 모드 수의 증가를 유도하기에는 MMI-길이와 폭에 제한을 받게 된다. (중략)

  • Congestion of the city with the rapid industrial development was accelerated to build complex social infrastructure. And numerous structures have been designed and constructed in accordance with these requirements. Recently, to solve complex urban traffic, many researches of large-diameter tunnel under construction downtown are in progress. The large-diameter tunnel has been developed with a versatile double-deck of deep depth tunnel. For the safe tunnel construction, ground reinforcement methods have been developed in the weakened pillar section like as junction of tunnel. This paper focuses on evaluation of the effects of new developed ground reinforcement methods in double-deck junction. The values of reinforcement determined from the existing and developed methods were compared to each other by numerical simulation.

  • Modeling of rubber for design or analysis often requires confusing or complex work because there are a large number of constitutive models to be considered. Some models have few material constants, while others have many. Researchers have to prepare and fit extensive experimental data with caution and discretion. In this paper, we first compared some typical rubber models in which deformation was carried out by stretching up to around eight times the original size. We conclude that continuum-based models and chain molecular models can be used in the study of the small deformation in most engineering applications, but chain molecular models are preferred in the study of the large deformations in most biomaterial applications. As discrimination problems, Treloar's patch and cylindrical balloon stick are tested theoretically and numerically for studying bifurcation. In the case of Treloar's patch, by using the Kearsley's equation, we show that bifurcation exists for continuum-based models but not for chain molecular models. Both models show bifurcation in the cylindrical balloon stick. Therefore, in the analysis of the bifurcation of rubber showed that its existence also depends on the constitutive model selected.

우리나라 주식형 펀드의 투자성과에 관한 실증적 연구

  • 이 논문에서는 3대 투자신탁회사의 주식형 펀드의 투자성과를 측정하고자 하는 데 목적이 있다. 추가적으로 자산운용의 실무적 현실을 고려하여 각 펀드의 속성(주식편입비율 한도, 대상투자자, 운용회사)의 차이가 투자성과와 어떤 관련을 갖고 있는가를 분석함으로써 투자신탁에 내재하는 도덕적 위해의 문제를 노출시켜 보고자 한다. 이 논문에서는 우리나라 3대 투신사의 29개 주식형 펀드에 대한 1984. 2분기${\sim}$1993. 1분기의 분기수익률 자료를 사용하여 시장예측능력과 포트폴리오 선택 능력을 측정하였다. 시장예측능력의 척도로서 Henriksson & Merton(1981)이 제시한 척도를 사용하였으며, 선택 능력의 척도로서 Treynor & Black(1973)의 평가비율과 Fama(1972)의 순선택능력 을 사용하였다. 그 결과 자산운용을 담당하는 투신사와 주식편입비율 한도에 관계없이 주식형 펀드들의 시장예측능력과 선택능력 모두가 음의 값을 보이 고 있다. 예외적으로 외국인전용 펀드의 투자성과는 내국인을 대상으로 하는 투자신탁에 비하여 다소 우수한 성과를 보이고 있다. 표본으로 사용한 5개 외국인전용 펀드는 다른 펀드와 마찬가지로 음의 시장예측능력을 보여주고 있으나, 평가비율은 다른 포트폴리오들과는 달리 양의 값을 갖고 있고, 이들의 순선택능력은 음의 값을 보이긴 하지만 다른 포트폴리오보다 그 절대 값이 보다 작다. 이러한 결과는 외국인전용 펀드의 포트폴리오선택능력이 보다 우수하였다는 것을 의미한다. 외국인전용펀드가 보다 나은 선택능력을 보여준 이유는 이들이 투자자문위원회라는 감시 장치를 갖고 있기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 환언하면 국내투자자용 펀드의 열등한 투자성과는 감시장치가 없는 데 따른 일종의 도덕적(道德的) 위해(危害)로 해석된다.

General inflation and bifurcation analysis of rubber balloons (고무풍선의 일반화 팽창 및 분기 해석)

  • Several typical hyper-elastic constitutive models that encompass both conventional and advanced ones were investigated for the application of instability problems, including the biaxial tension of a rubber patch and inflation of spherical or cylindrical balloons. The material models included the neo-Hookean model, Mooney-Rivlin model, Gent model, Arruda-Boyce model, Fung model, and Pucci-Saccomandi model. Analyses can be done using membrane equations with particular strain energy density functions. Among the typical strain energy density functions, Kearsley's bifurcation for the Treloar's patch occurs only with the Mooney-Rivlin model. The inflation equation is so generalized that a spherical balloon and tube balloons can be taken into account. From the analyses, the critical material parameters and limit points were identified for material models in terms of the non-dimensional pressure and inflation volume ratio. The bifurcation was then identified and found for each material model of a balloon. When the finite element method was used for the structural instability problems of rubber-like materials, some careful treatments required could be suggested. Overall, care must be taken not only with the analysis technique, but also in selecting constitutive models, particularly the instabilities.

Experimental study of improvement of ventilation efficiency at intersection in network-form underground road tunnel (네트워크형 지하 도로터널 분기부에서의 환기효율 향상방안에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • The experiment was performed to analyze the intersectional ventilation efficiency by intersection structure and Jet Fan in network-form road tunnel. For this, the size of real road tunnel was reduced by 1/45. To apply traffic inertia force when driving, blower fan was used to form an airflow in model tunnel and the intersectional efficiency was also investigated by measuring the speed at local point of the tunnel. To improve the reduction of ventilation caused by the structure character, Jet Fan was installed to optimize ventilation efficiency in tunnel.

The Processor Performance Model Using Statistical Simulation (통계적 모의실험을 이용하는 프로세서의 성능 모델)

  • Trace-driven simulation is widely used for measuring the performance of a microprocessor in its initial design phase. However, since it requires much time and disk space, the statistical simulation has been studied as an alternative method. In this paper, statistical simulations are performed for a high performance superscalar microprocessor with a perceptron-based multiple branch predictor. For the verification, various hardware configurations are simulated using SPEC2000 benchmarks programs as input. As a result, we show that the statistical simulation is quite accurate and time saving for the evaluation of microprocessor architectures with multiple branch prediction.
