Somatization is regarded as a process rather than a diagnostic entity. It should be emphasized to identify psychopathology rather than to make a choice regarding diagnosis in assessing somatizing patients. Psychiatrists should be aware of the psychosocial cues underlying the patients' physical symptoms. Special skills and strategies are required by nonpsychiatric physicians to facilitate the patients' acceptance of psychiatric treatment. The goal of treatment for somatization is management but not cure. The approach should be flexible, depending on the patients' responses and need. The difficulty in diagnosing and treating somatization is likely to be related to abnormal illness behavior such as the patients' denial of their psychosocial problems and resistance to psychiatric approach. In conclusion, biopsychosocial approach is needed to treat these patients effectively. Psychiatrists should also teach other physicians the interview skill that they could identify these patients as early as possible and facilitate their acceptance of psychiatric treatment.

This thesis discusses the emerging system of value and structure of feeling in today's Chinese society through analyzing Chinese main theme TV series. The 2000s' Chinese main theme TV series represents Chinese's anger and nervousness into the structure of narrative, and they try to form a bond of sympathy with the audience by various characters which represent the common people. Main characters are no longer revolutionists who internalize ideas of socialism and collectivism, but they put emphasis on individuals' thoughts, tastes, and values, and freely express them. Individualism, which was negatively represented and excluded in main theme TV series before 2000s, are compromised and included in today's Chinese dramas. Even though dramas represent the superiority of communism, individuals' choice of various value and faith is positively and flexibly considered. There is a new phenomenon where female figures are no longer passive and dependent, but they are portrayed with given with unique roles and status. Although main theme TV series are directed under the state and government's supervision, they exist in the relation where market, state, drama text, and audience interact.

A rapidly increasing demand of voice and data through mobile telecommunication service and the development of technologies related with the service are sufficiently said to make the service become an indispensible communicating means, not just selective one. However, in the other side of the generalizing of mobile telecommunication service, there is said to be a worsening situation of unbalanced benefits due to the problem of information difference between the non. The more advanced mobile telecommunication service proceeds, the more deepens the problem, and it is generally known that the problem cannot be solved by the ability of free market itself as seen in the wired telecommunication market. Therefore, we need to set up a systematic policy of mobile telecommunication service for solving this problem, and also think over whether to include the service within the range of universal service. In this study, we examine the required factors for including the service within the range of universal service, and analyze the validity of the including in the view point of institutional aspects.

Cerebral palsy is an umbrella term encompassing a group of non-progressive non-contagious motor conditions that cause physical disability in human development. Motor disorder of cerebral palsy is often accompanied by disturbances of sensation, perception, cognition, communication, behavior and seizure disorder. Disharmony of motor function leads to frequent falling down. Moreover patients have high prevalence of class II malocclusion. Compared to normal patients, the patients with cerebral palsy tends to have high prevalence of recurrent trauma and bruxism which make restoration of the anterior tooth more difficult. This case report is consisted of three cases of cerebral palsy patients who have challenging problems with restoration of anterior teeth.

Maxillary molar distalization is a treatment approach for patients with Class II malocclusions who do not require extractions and mesial movements of mandibular molars. The pendulum appliance is effective for distalization of the maxillary molars and independent of patient cooperation. This appliance can stabilize the maxillary premolars and use the palatal rugae area as an additional anchorage. However, caution is needed to control collateral effects, including increase of lower facial height, incisor protrusion and damage to the rugae area. This article reports the cases in which maxillary molar distalization achieved by pendulum appliance resolves the space problems and corrects the molar relationships.

The effect of the grid resolution on the hydrodynamic simulation has been investigated by using CCHE2D and EFDC. Since a high resolution of the grid results in the increase of computation time, an appropriate grid resolution should be selected by considering the efficiency of simulation according to the objectives of projects. In order to understand the effect of grid resolution and determine the optimal grid resolution, several cases with different lateral grid resolutions have been simulated for the reach of Nakdong river at the confluence of Kumho river for the floods in 2006. Orthogonal curvilinear grids for the domain have been constructed from the survey products at the sections with the longitudinal interval of 20 m. Area-elevation curve and the comparison of simulated results with measured stage at the specific station have been used to check the effect of grid resolution. From the results, the existence of optimal grid resolution has been observed, which ensure both efficiency of computation and certainty of results.

Recently there has been interested in the role of emotion in human computer interaction fields. The present study investigated whether the users emotional state effects on information search pattern for decision making in small screen display. In experiment, to induce specific emotional states(positive and negative emotional state), the participants were asked to listen to music and imagine autobiographic events with different emotional impacts. Subsequently, they performed time limit search tasks with three travel information on small screen display and their search patterns were recorded on real time. The results indicated that a positive emotional state caused more wide and fast Information search pattern in comparison with neutral and negative emotional state. And neutral and negative emotional state caused more cognitive resource to details in comparison with positive emotional state.

The coastal deposits along Moonamni, Kangwon Province, Korea have been investigated by using deeply cored sediments(down to the basement rocks : Pre-Cambrian metamorphic rocks and granitic rocks) in order to understand and propose the late Quaternary stratigraphy and related major unconformities. Three major stratigraphic -depositional units are proposed. The neolithic cultural sites in the Moonamni area are considered as middle Holocene coastal dunes, which were developed due to active supply of beach sands from Unit I(Holocene transgressive deposit). Such coastal dune sediments are characteristic in the upper part of Unit I(Holocene in age). So far, Unit II and Unit III are considered as continental deposits, such as fluvial-swamp and alluvial deposit, respectively.

This study presents an electronic catalogue based cutting parameter selection system using MS Access software. The proposed system has been designed to electronically select proper cutting conditions based on the stored data base. The existing approaches used in most small and medium sized companies are basically to use manufacturing engineer's experience or to find the recommended values from the manufacturing engineer handbook. These processes are often time consuming and inconsistent, especially when a new engineer is involved. Therefore, this study proposes a simple, yet quick and consistent electronic catalogue based cutting parameter selection method which uses MS Access in terms of programming and database implementation. Consequently, the proposed system could automatically generate the proper cutting conditions (feed, depth of cut, and cutting speed) as soon as the input data (proper information about the tool and work material) is given. Thanks to the simple structure and popularity of the MS Access, the engineer could be quickly accustomed to the system and easily modify/insert/delete the database if necessary.

Development of the Internet has brought many changes in methods of education and assesment. When enforcing the on-line distance education, the tests to check the outcomes of the learning are taken on the Internet. The current trends of education evaluation are focused on the types of questions and the detachments of exam proctor but verifying the authentication of answer sheet. There are several forms to make answers; selection type, short-answer type, write-out answer type, practical exercise type, etc. All the forms can be done on the Internet except the practical exercise type because the source of the examinee's answer sheet is unreliable. In this paper, we made the verification system to solve the doubt by setting the proved information on the answer sheet. Putting the information down to confirm the authenticity during the exam on the server is distinct character of this system. After the test finished, the system will operate when examinee turn in the answer sheet.
