For college students majoring in beauty, a total of 223 copies were empirically analyzed as the final sample. SPSS ver. 21.0 program was used for analysis, and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability verification, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results First, as a result of analyzing the effect of parental attachment on the emotional instability of college life adjustment, it was found that avoidant attachment had a statistically significant effect. Second, as a result of analyzing the effect of parental attachment on the negative relationship of adaptation to college life, it was found that avoidant attachment had a statistically significant effect. Third, as a result of analyzing the effect of parental attachment on the positive relationship of college life adjustment, it was found that trusting attachment and avoidant attachment had statistically significant effects. Through this study, it is hoped that discussions on parental attachment and college life adaptation of beauty major college students will be actively conducted.
This study aimed to identifying the mediating effects of motivation on the relationship between parent attachment and eating habit among nursing students. The survey participants was 125 college students. The data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 and AMOS 26.0 version program, using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, and path analysis. Eating habit, parent attachment and autonomous motivation were positive correlations. Controlled motivation was positive correlations with autonomous motivation. Parent attachment directly positive related to autonomous motivation and eating habit. Autonomous motivation directly positive related to eating habit. Autonomous motivation has a mediating effects between parent attachment and eating habit (𝛽=.09, p=.003, 95% CI: 0.29~0.19). Therefore, further research is needed to develop and evaluate programs that include strengthening parental attachment and autonomous motivation.
The purpose of this study was to examine gender differences in response to work-life balance(WLB) and to investigate the effect of WLB on parenting confidence and to examine the moderating role of career management in the relationship between WLB and parenting confidence. Through SPSS 18.0, the model structure was tested between WLB, parenting confidence, and career management by a t-test, regression test, and hierarchical regression test. A total of 505 cases were analyzed. The major findings were as follows: First, it was found that there was no difference in the level of WLB by gender. Second, it was found that there was a positive relationship between WLB and parenting confidence. Third, it was found that career management moderated the relationship between WLB and parenting confidence. Based on the findings, practical implications about married female workers and the importance of WLB in the organizations were discussed.
This study aims to examine the mediating effects of positive parenting attitudes, self-esteem, and depression on the relationship between parental happiness and children's happiness. To this end, the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 were used. Structural equation modeling was implemented based on 2,551 data collected from fourth-grade children of elementary school and their parents. The happiness felt by the parents was found to have a positive correlation with positive parenting attitudes, self-esteem, and happiness perceived by the children, and a negative correlation with the children's depression. And, the happiness felt by the parents was found to affect the happiness of children by sequentially progressing through positive parenting attitudes, children's self-esteem and depression. Such results reflect how parents who perceive themselves to be happy tend to be warm, provide structure, and support the autonomy of their children. This also shows how such positive parenting attitudes encourage children to believe that they are valuable individuals and how this plays a role in reducing their sense of depression and enhancing their happiness.
In order to explore the impact of gender in the effects of age, temperament, and parenting on preschoolers' psychosocial problems, 339 preschoolers, 3-5 year old, were assessed using parent report measures of externalizing and internalizing behavior problems, temperament, and parenting. The results of ANOVA and hierarchical regression analyses are as follows. First, the main effects of age and gender for externalizing problems and the interaction effect of age and gender for internalizing problems were significant. Second, the important predictors of preschoolers' internalizing and externalizing problems were different by gender. In boys, Novelty Seeking(NS), Harm Avoidance(HA), and hostile parenting significantly predicted both problems. In girls, NS, HA, and warm parenting significantly predicted both problems. In addition, girls were more strongly influenced by parenting whereas boys were more influenced by their temperaments. The results of this study highlight some important suggestions for prevention strategies for preschoolers' behavioral problems. The implications and limitations of this study were further discussed.

The obsession with parental and occupational roles raised parental and occupational role loss anxiety. And both of role loss anxiety lower psychological well-being. For men, obsessed with the occupational role was significantly influenced by autonomy, gender role attitude, social support network. For women, gender role attitude significantly influenced on occupational and parental role obsession, and social support networks had significant impact on parental role obsession. Results of this study were discussed in terms of the importance of role reconstruction in middle and old age, gender difference in role reconstruction according to gender role socialization.
Purpose: Feeding problems are common for typically developing children and have negative effects on physical, behavioral, and cognitive development. The purpose of the current study was to examine factors related to childhood feeding problems for typically developing children via parental reports. Methods: The feeding questionnaire developed by the authors and the Childhood Eating Behavior Inventory (CEBI) were administered to 796 parents of children who recruited from 2 pediatric outpatient clinics (n=379) and community (n=417). Problem eaters (PE) were identified by parental report and frequency analysis was conducted for types of feeding problems and its severity, problem behaviors during mealtime, the feeding methods of the parents, and the need for treatment. Results: The CEBI scores were significantly different between the PE and non-problem eaters (NPE), which suggests that the parental reports were reliable. The younger children had more feeding problems than the older children. The most frequent and severe feeding problems were selective eating and longer mealtimes across all age groups. One-half of the children had more than one problem behaviors during mealtime. Most parents of PE used ineffective methods to deal with children's behaviors during meal time, such as cajoling, which was related to their increased level of stress. Many parents reported their children need professional help for the feeding problems. Conclusion: Feeding problems are prevalent among children, especially younger children. Children with feeding problems showed a number of problem behaviors during mealtime and parental coping methods appeared to be ineffective. The need for treatment was considerable, thus the characteristics of this population must be acknowledged for providing proper treatment and advice.

In terms of parents-child relationship, the following variables are examined: Social support from parents, achievement pressure, parental expectation, sense of indebtedness to parents, and respect for parents. For adolescents functioning, the following variables are examined: Efficacy for self-regulated learning, achievement motivation, studying time, and academic achievement. In the first phase of the longitudinal study, a total of 961 Grade 6 students completed a questionnaire. In the second phrase, a total of 856 students completed a questionnaire when they were Grade 7. In the third phrase, a total of 830 students completed a questionnaire when they were Grade 9. In the third phase, a matched sample of 722 fathers and 767 mothers of the adolescents completed a questionnaire. From the sample, 694 matched sample of adolescents, mothers, and fathers have been selected for the following analysis. The results of the path analysis indicate that adolescents' past academic grade was the most powerful predictor of adolescents' current academic achievement. Second, a sense of indebtedness felt towards the parents increased adolescents' achievement motivation, which increased their studying time and which in turn positively affected their academic achievement. Third, adolescents' respect for their parents increased their efficacy for self-regulated learning, which had a positive effect on their academic achievement. Fourth, parental social support increased adolescents' efficacy for self-regulated learning and parental achievement pressure increased adolescents' achievement motivation. Fifth, parental expectation had positive influence on adolescents' academic achievement. Sixth, efficacy for self-regulated learning had direct positive influence on academic achievement. These results indicate that the past achievement is the most important predictor of adolescents' current academic achievement and parent-child relationship and efficacy for self-regulated learning are also important variables that influence adolescents' achievement.
