This study investigated the extraction algorithm fitting for variables of adolescents' computer use type with the sample from KYPS data (3409 in the second grade of the junior high school; 1704 boys and 1705 girls). The results of the decision tree model revealed that : (1) Gender, computer use time, misdeed friends, parent supervision, other agreement of misdeed, parent study expectation, self-control, teacher attachment, and sibling relation were significant for entertainment type. (2) Gender, cyberclub, computer use time, self-belief, online misdeed were significant for relation type. (3) Study enthusiasm, personal study time, optimistic disposition, study and spare time, cyberclub, self-belief, and other people criticism were significant for information type. These results suggest that adolescents' diverse conditions should be considered for using computer more efficiently.
This study used laten class growth analysis to identify discrete developmental patterns of delinquent behaviors in adolescence. This present article also examined associations among these trajectories to determine how the development of delinquent behaviors relates to protective and risk factors, which include parental monitoring, attachment with parent, association with deviant peers, self-control, and negative stigma from others. Four-wave panel data from a Korea Youth Panel Study were used for the latent class growth model analysis. The sample consisted of 3,446 adolescents who were assessed at 4 measurement waves with approximately 1-year interval. Four trajectories of delinquent behaviors emerged: delinquency persistence, delinquency increaser, delinquency decreaser, normative group(almost no delinquent behaviors). Association with deviant peers had the most proximal strong influence on the probability of being in the delinquency increaser and delinquency persistence group compared, noed to the normative group. Parental monitoring, self-efficacy and negative stigma also differentiated the four delinquent behavior trajectories from one another after controllig for socio-demographic variables. The study suggested that there is a significant heterogeneity in the timing and change rate of delinquency progression. Adolescent delinquency prevention and intervention programs will need to consider this heterogeneity and enhance attention to protective and risk factors depending on the subpopulation.

The second-term panel data from the fourth-year Community Child Center Survey was used to analyze 198 adolescents (103 boys, 95 girls) who were first graders at middle schools. SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 were used to analyze the data through structural equation modeling. This study intended to activate public education, researched and analyzed real conditions of preschool education to know desirable directions of public education and help parents recognize public education. The final purpose is to offer basic materials to reestablish preschool education in the public education system. First, parents' recognition concerning preschool education in the public education system was much different from that of teachers. As for definitions of preschool education as a public education, parents understood that it means 'the nation and self-governing bodies manage aid both the public and private kindergartens', and teachers recognized that it means that 'the nation and self-governing bodies not only found operate public kindergartens but also aid manage educational funds of private kindergartens. Second, the examination of educational environments of kindergartens told that teachers and parents thought that opportunity to enter the kindergarten is not equal for all children in our country, and quality of kindergarten teachers is satisfactory. Also, they thought that curriculums of preschool educational organs have been set well according to children's developmental stages, education quality is different according to preschool education organs' foundation-types. They recognized that facilities and apparatus of preschools are satisfactory, security and neatness of preschools are satisfactory, too. Third, the examination of developmental directions of preschool education as a public education proved following facts; as for foundation-types of kindergartens in the future when promoting preschool education as a public education, parents answered financial support and supervision by the government, teachers answered aid and management of operational fees as well as support for teacher personnel expenses.

The size of the global game market, including Korea, is gradually expanding, there are about 80,000 people in the game industry in Korea, and it has maintained a steady increase. As the domestic game has become more influential, games have become a means of helping people to communicate with each other in everyday life. Despite these changes, There is a lack of positive perspectives such as game use and interpersonal interactivity or communication enhancement. Therefore, this study analyzed the correlation of psychological and environmental factors of adolescents, game leadership, and social capital in order to understand the positive effects of games. As a result of research, psychological factors such as social motivation, game efficacy, and game norms have a statistically significant effect on game leadership. Parental supervision has a negative effect on game leadership and a statistically influenced positive effect on social capital. Overprotective parenting has a negative effect on both game leadership and social capital. Finally, game leadership has a statistically influenced positive effect on social capital. This paper is meaningful in that the research on the positive aspect of the game was conducted for the adolescent.

There are three main purposes of this study: (a) to investigate the developmental trajectories of psychological resilience, social resilience, and school resilience of adolescents in poverty, (b) to identify the longitudinal relationship of three resiliences and (c) to examine the protective factors that help adolescents to develop successfully in the face of poverty. Data were drawn from Korea Youth Panel Survey(KYPS), a longitudinal panel study on Middle school students in the second grade. Sample consists of 648 adolescents in poverty who particiipated in the KYPS. Latent Growth Curve Model(LGM) was used to analyze intraindividual changes in resiliences and interindividual differences in these changes. And AMOS 7.0 and SPSS 15.0 were used. In this study, it is concluded that the resilience of adolescents in poverty is the construct that has uni-dimensionality and multi-dimensionality at the same time. Therefore, in order to improve resilience of adolescents in poverty, protective factors associated with each resilience have to be increased. Those findings have provided various theoretical and practical implications for social workers and professionals helping adolescents in poverty.
