Effects of Using Convergence Horseback Riding Program on the Emotion·Behavior Development, Anxiety, Depression and ADHD in Adolescent (융복합을 활용한 승마운동 프로그램이 청소년의 정서·행동 발달, 불안, 우울 및 ADHD에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted of students in their youth, who were having behavioral and emotional problems, anxiety, depression, and ADHD in their school. The participants took part in equestrian sports programs(equestrian program and apparatus program) twice a week, for 60 minutes each. To make progress in the study, mainly 4 scales are used as the standards of preliminary and post inspections : emotional and behavioral development scale, anxiety scale, depression scale, and ADHD scale. After conducting two-way ANOVA analysis, the conclusion was made as follows. The equestrian sports and horse riding exercise program which were used in this study did had an positive effect on emotional and behavioral scale, depression scale, anxiety scale, and ADHD scale. Moreover, it is determined that the equestrian sports had more positive effects than the equestrian sports which used apparatus. However, to precisely compare and contrast the effects of equestrian sports programs and apparatus programs, the follow-up studies need to limit the control group.

The Effect of Exam Stress and Vitamin B Complex on Plasma ACTH, Cortisol and Prolactin Level (시험 스트레스와 Vitamin B 복합제가 혈장 ACTH, Cortisol 및 Prolactin치에 미치는 영향)

  • The study was designed to find out the effect of exam stress and vitamin B complex on hormones such as plasma ACTH, cortisol and prolactin. 21 medical students completed the whole period of the study. Global assessment of recent stress(GARS) scale and SCL-90-R were used to measure stress perception and psychopathology. Radioimmunoassay was used to assess plasma ACTH, cortisol and prolactin. Plasma ACTH level was significantly higher 2 weeks prior to examination and exam period, respectively, than 4 weeks prior to the exam. However, there were no significant differences in plasma cortisol and prolactin level among the three periods. No significant differences were also found in plasma ACTH, cortisol and prolactin level between vitamin and non-vitamin groups during each period. Scores of stress perception in economic area significantly had a positive correlation with plasma ACTH and prolactin level, respectively, 2 weeks prior to the exam. In psychopathology, scores of hostility subscale significantly had a Positive correlation with plasma ACTH level. There were no significant differences in change of each of the hormones over time as well as between vitamin and non-vitamin groups. In conclusion, it was found that ACTH was more sensitive to exam stress than cortisol or prolactin, and that vitamin B complex had no significant influence on ACTH, cortisol and prolactin level.

Effects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT) on Complex PTSD Symptoms, Acceptance, and Post-traumatic Growth of College Students with Childhood Emotional Abuse (수용전념치료(ACT)가 아동기 정서적 피학대 경험이 있는 대학생의 복합 PTSD 증상, 수용 및 외상 후 성장에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT) on Complex PTSD symptoms, acceptance and post-traumatic growth of college students with childhood emotional abuse. Four hundred and fifty students in university completed Acceptance and action Questionnaire(AAQ-II), Structured interview for disorders of extrem stress(SIDES), Korea version posttraumatic growth inventory(K-PTGI). 14 participants was selected from that result. 7 participants were assigned to the ACT group and the others were in the control group. ACT program was administered for 8 sessions twice a week for 2 month, approximately 100 minutes. There was no treatment in the control group. All participants completed post-test at the end of treatment and then follow-up test after 6 weeks. The results were that complex PTSD symptoms level in ACT group was significant decreased and acceptance and post-traumatic growth level in ACT group were significant increased than those in control group at the end of treatment and the follow-up period. Finally, the implications and the limitations of this study, and the suggestions for future study were also discussed.

Development of a Korean Version of the Levels of Emotional Awareness Scale(LEAS-K) (한국판 감정자각 수준 척도의 개발)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean version of the Levels of Emotional Awareness Scale(LEAS-K) and to examine its validity and reliability. Methods: LEAS-K was developed from translating original LEAS into Korean. The subjects were 476 Korean medical students(322 males and 154 females). The internal consistency was evaluated with the Cronbach's alpha coefficients and 40 protocols were independently scored by two raters to confirm interrater reliability. Additionally, a Korean version of 20-item Toronto Alexithymia Scale(TAS-20K), Korean versions of the Openness to Experience Inventory(OE), the Marlowe-Crowne Scale (MCS), the Bendig short form of the Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale(TMAS) and the Emotional Expressivity Scale(EES) were rated to evaluate concurrent validity. Results: The internal consistency measured by Cronbach's alpha was 0.81 and interrater reliability was high{r(40)=0.99}. Correlation coefficients for concurrent validity were nonsignificant with TMAS and EES. LEAS-K correlated significantly with TAS-20K{r(476)=-0.10, p<0.05}, OE {r(476)=0.10, p<0.05} and MCS {r(476)=0.10, p<0.05}. Conclusion: LEAS-K was demonstrated to have high reliability and validity.

Development of Self-directed Learning Scale for University Students based on the Complex Structure Model (복합구조 모형을 토대로 한 대학생 자기주도학습 측정 도구 개발)

  • This study organize a self-directed learning in complex structures. And based on this, It was developed self-directed learning scale for university students. It was a analyzing literature and reviewing previous studies for developed scale. Therefore, Self-directed learning model was configured into motives, performance behaviors, and learning management behaviors. On the basis of this, the present study constructed 19 sub-factors and developed 114 scale items. First, a preliminary scale was developed and its reliability was assessed by administering the scale to 128 students attending A university. The result showed that the reliability of every sub-factor was good and, therefore, the scale was developed with no item removed. To verify the validity of the scale, this study evaluated reliability and construct validity by administering the scale to 674 students going to A university. The reliability and validity of all sub-factors were found to be good. A confirmatory factor analysis was performed to verify construct validity and the result revealed that the first model was not an appropriate model. For this reason, the first model was modified once by taking the model modification index into account and it was found that ${\chi}^2$ (563.254), CFI=.963, NFI=.951, RMSEA=.064. Thus, the model was verified as a valid model. The results of this study imply that it is possible to point out learners' weaknesses and strengths by measuring activities taking place in the learning process in detail.

A Study on Developing and Validating of a Scale for Business Effectiveness of Microcredit (마이크로크레딧 사업 운영의 효과성 측정을 위한 척도개발 및 타당화 연구)

  • This study aims to develop the scale for business effectiveness targeting microcredit users. For this, based on domestic preceding researchers empirically handling the microcredit and also focus group interviews with users and specialists, total 30 preliminary questions were composed. After that, conducting the exploratory factor analysis targeting 127 finally collected surveys, in the results of analysis, the scale validity of three factors and 24 questions was verified. Also, considering the goodness-of-fit of model through the confirmatory factor analysis, the effectiveness scale of microcredit business was determined. The concrete factors included 5 questions of the store operation, 3 questions of business start-up satisfaction, and 16 questions of management competency. Lastly, based on the effectiveness scale of business developed by this study, the research direction and the practical development direction of microcredit was suggested.

In 2012, Foreign performance tourist surpassed 1.62 million. At this point government policy support is needed for qualitative development. To establish this support policy standard, evaluation scale is imperative. Delphi is designed as a performance expert group communication process which aim to achieve a convergence of opinion on Korea performance evaluation measures The AHP converts these evaluations to numerical values that can be processed and compared over the entire range of the problem. Evaluation Scale for Korea Performance is consist of 4 Main Category Division. This scale can suggest ways to improve Korea performances.

  • 최근 좌식생활과 컴퓨터사용의 증가로 전방머리자세 가진 젊은 성인이 증가하고 있으며 이를 개선하기 위한 슬링 뉴렉기법을 적용한 복합운동의 효과를 알아보고자 실시되었다. 이 연구의 결과 운동군에서 통증, 목뼈 앞굽은각, 중력중심선에서 유의한 감소가 나타났다(p<.001). 이러한 결과는 슬링뉴렉을 적용한 복합운동이 억제된 근육에 신경근 활성화와 근육의 재교육을 통해 통증 및 목뼈정렬에 긍정적인 역할을 한 것으로 생각되며 전방두부자세 개선을 위한 효율적인 중재 방법이 될 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

Effects of Creativity Instruction Activities on Academic Motivation and Career Maturity of University Students : Based on NFTM-TRIZ Creativity Education Model (창의수업활동이 대학생의 학업동기 및 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향: NFTM-TRIZ 창의 교육 모형을 기반으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of creativity instruction activities on academic motivation and career maturity of university students and the relationship between these factors. The subjects of this study were university students who took creativity liberal arts based on NFTM-TRIZ creativity education model for a term. The research scales were the self-efficacy scale and failure tolerance scale of academic motivation tests and the Career Maturity Inventory Attitude Scale. The results of this study were as follows : First, creativity instruction activities had a positive influence on academic motivation and career maturity. Especially the effects on self control efficacy, task preference level, career decisiveness and compromise showed significantly(p<.01). Secondly, academic motivation showed positive relationship with career maturity(p<.05).

Development and Validity of Creativity Path Inventory (CPI) (창의성 경로 척도(Creativity Path Inventory)의 개발 및 타당화)

  • The development process from creative potential to realized talent is complex and non-linear. This feature of the process stands out more in the process of living a creative life in the long-term rather than in a situation to solve certain problems in the short-term. The purpose of this study is to develop Creativity Path Inventory (CPI) for undergraduate students based on Sawyer's Zigzag Model which is one of creative process theories and to verify reliability and validity of the inventory. Thus, reflecting the characteristics of each stage of the model, this study developed 88 items in 8 factors and finally confirmed 38 items in 7 factors through item analysis and verification process on construct validity. Internal consistency of a total of 38 items in CPI turned out to be .835, confirming the reliability of the inventory and goodness-of-fit index of the final model also demonstrated an appropriate result. CPI with verified reliability and validity will help enable people who want to manifest creativity in view of everyday creativity to realize self-improvement by self-reporting their strengths and weaknesses on their own.
