This paper introduces the main function and protection method of IGBT gate driver that designed by KOROS. Recently, the applications of insulated gate bipolar transistors(IGBTs) have expanded widely, particularly in the area of railway converters. This driver is suitable for railway traction applications, so they are designed for circumstance of railway vehicle such as vibration. The input control power for this driver is supplied from battery charger of railway. it is no necessary an isolated power supply board or auxiliary power supply, with substantial savings in cost and space in railway applications. This gate driver can be used wide range of input voltage. So, performance of the driver has no relation with the battery voltage(70V∼110V). The protection methods of IGBT gate driver have many kind of ways, but this gate driver it designed to apply to converter for railway system, so this gate driver includes protection for arm short current and low control power voltage, etc. And the process of protection method and protection reference value are optimized by means of sufficient test with our own facilities.

필자는 대략 30년 전부터 전국 각지의 각종 단체에 초대되어 $\ulcorner$농약$\lrcorner$에 관하여 여러 가지 이야기를 해오면서 다양한 질문에 답하고 비판도 받았다. 그리고 너무나도 무책임한 때로는 의분(義憤)을 금할 길이 없을 정도의 정보누적에 의해 $\ulcorner$농약$\lrcorner$이라는 단어가 사람의 건강에서 자연생태계에 이르기까지 $\ulcorner$위험한 물질$\lrcorner$의 대명사가 되어 가는 것을 가슴아프게 생각해 왔다. 이는 분명 전문가가 아닌 어설픈 지식을 가지고 진보적 지식인인 양 하는 사람들과 너무나도 일방적인, 때로는 감정적인 보도자세에 의한 것이라 여겨진다. 어쨌든 쉽게 농약을 의심하는 풍조가 있지만 그로 인하여 간과 할 지도 모른다는 사실이 심히 염려스럽다. 이같은 사례와 함께 농약의 올바른 모습을 2회에 걸쳐 정리해 보고자 한다.

우리나라 방염 작업복의 역사는 매우 짧다. 외국의 선진 사례에 비교하여 전기아크에 대한 보호구기준 및 제도가 미비한 현실에서 한전이 국내 최초로 방염 작업복을 전직원에게 도입하면서 난연성 작업복의 중요도와 개인 안전에 대한 인식이 새롭게 자리매기고 있다. 한전 방염 작업복의 현주소는 한국을 대표할 뿐만 아니라 세계적 수준에 도달하였으나, 몇가지 풀어야 할 과제를 안고 있다. 디자인을 좀 더 발전시켜 시대적 흐름에 부합하는 좀더 기능적이고도 세련된 작업복의 구현이 그것이다. 이를 위한 원단 및 디자인 개발을 위한 다양한 시도는 앞으로도 꾸준히 계속될 것이다.

야외 운동(outdoor activities)복에 사용되는 소재들은 외부로부터 신체를 안전하게 보호해 주어야 될 뿐 아니라 쾌적하게 유지시켜 주어야 한다. 의복착용시 쾌적감에 결정적인 영향을 미치는 인자는 몸의 열적 평형상태를 유지하기 위한 수단인 수분전달 특성이다. 본 연구는 여러 종류의 야외 운동복용 직물에서의 수분전달 현상을 조사하여 규명하므로써 이 직물들이 실제 의복생활에 응용될 의복계 (clothing system)를 형성하였을 때의 수분전달 현상을 설명하고자 하는 기초연구이다. 연구의 결과는 base layer용, mid layer용 직물들이 shell layer로 쓰이는 waterproof breathable 직물보다 수분 전달률이 높았으며, waterproof breathable 직물의 수분 전달률은 microfibre 직물, PTFE-laminated 직물 그리고 polyurethane coated 직물 순 이었다. 또한 polyurethane 직물에서는 back coated 직물이 face-coated 직물보다 수분 전달률이 높았다.

Digital reactor protection system which consists of many identical modules, is fault- tolerant to provide high safety. The modules themselves including DSP(digital signal processing) card are also fault-tolerant in nature. This paper assesses the safety for being-designed digital reactor protection system of 2-out-of-4 G structure with lockout. Some interesting design alternatives are compared. Fault tree analysis for assessing system safety is performed by Relex software. The selected reactor protection system fully satisfies EPRIURD stipulation of mean failure time of 50 years.

SUS316L의 내부식성을 증진시키기 위해 우수한 내부식성 합금원소로 알려진 Al, Cr을 SUS316L에 Sputtering, E-beam evaporation하여 Al, Cr 코팅층을 형성시킨 후 대기 중, $Ar-1%SO_2$ 분위기에서 부식시켰다. 그 결과 코팅층에 의해 $600^{\circ}C$까지 $Al_2O_3$, $Cr_2O_3$ 형성되어 보호피막 역할을 함으로써 내부식성이 증진되었다.

철도 분야에서도 환경 보호 및 에너지 절감을 위한 경량화 연구가 활발히 진행 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 철도차량의 보조전원장치 경량화에 대해 설명 한다. 기존의 철도차량의 보조전원 장치는 내부 필터 리액터, 변압기 등이 중량의 상당한 부분을 차지 하고 있고, 이는 시스템 중량 저감을 위한 고민에서 가장 큰 위치를 차지 한다. 본 논문에서는 공진형 컨버터를 사용하고 스위칭 주파수를 높여 필터 리액터, 변압기 등을 경량화 하였다. 150kW급 시제품에 대한 모의해석과 실험을 통해 입증 하였다.

The marine power system is whole one system including power generation and distribution system. This systems have several power generators which are operated according to voyage situation in the vessel. Therefore, IEDs have to re-setting for changed marine power system. This paper is shown application of multi-setting protective IED in the marine power system.

The dose-response effect of polysaccharide extracts(PS-1) from Artemisia iwayomogi was inves-tigated under various hepatic disease models. Silymarin, DDB and UDCA were used as reference compounds. We found that the maximal effective dose of PS-1 was 100 mg/kg b.wt. in $CCl_4$-induced hepatotoxicity, D-galactosamine-induced hepatitis, in ANIT-induced cholestasis and 300 mg/kg b.wt. in $CCl_4$-induced chronic liver disease, 30 mg/tg b.wt. in chronic bile duct ligation and chronic ethanol fatty liver. These findings suggest that PS-1 fraction protects the hepatocyte against various hepatic injuries, and this fracton might be of therapeutic value.
