On the basis of the research, in order to improve the working condition for the teachers the following suggestions have been made: provision of salary system considered the level of qualification criteria and academic certificate, carrying out a raise in pay according to the salary class, requirement of written indication of a provision of allowance, increase of the initial salary for the principal of nurseries, observance of legislation for payment of excess duty allowance, elucidation of legislation for the salary of the teacher in unsupported nurseries and settlement of ratio of supporting personnel expenses from government.
South Korea has strengthened the eligibility criteria for childcare teachers while amending the Infant Care Act in January 2005 in order to improve the quality of childcare services. Since then, there was a change in the legal basis related to childcare staff such as introduction of national certification of childcare center directors, name change, strengthened qualification standards for directors and teachers, training system maintenance and repair, strengthened credit standards of teachers' care related qualification courses, and maintenance provisions of continuing education nursery teacher qualifications. And that is because childcare staff are closely related to the quality of childcare, and a very important variable who has direct influence on infants. This study, through literature research and analysis, describes the status and development direction of childcare staff. This study covers three main aspects. First, the relevant historical flow was reviewed and the concepts of the role, expertise, and legal status of childcare staff were investigated. Second, staff training institutions, emissions certification, employment, and the status of treatment were investigated. Third, development direction for the training system, eligibility criteria, continuing education and its training system, and treatment improvement were proposed.

study analyzed the relationship between ChildCare Teachers' Office Stress on Happiness with Teacher Effectiveness. A survey was conducted on 243 childcare teachers in J area. The collected data was analyzed using the JAMOVI program to analyze the mediated effects and technical statistics. Results found that office stress, teacher efficacy, and sense of happiness of childcare teachers were found to meet the normality assumption. Second, the analysis of the relationship between office stress, teacher efficacy, and happiness showed a statistically significant negative correlation between administrative stress and teacher efficacy and happiness and teacher efficacy showed a significant positive correlation. Higher office stress led to less teacher effectiveness and happiness, and higher happiness led to higher teacher effectiveness. Third, office stress is a significant predictor of happiness and teacher's efficacy. In conclusion, office stress should be considered important in terms of happiness and teacher effectiveness and the direction of improvement in the treatment of child care teachers was suggested.
The purpose of this study is to examine if ego resilience has regulating effects in correlation between child care teachers' job stress and work environment and their performance of roles with child care teachers working in Seoul and Incheon. PASW 20.0 was employed to conduct frequency, percentage, and reliability analysis. For each of the study questions, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and stepwise regression analysis were done. The findings of this study are as follows; First, job stress perceived by child care teachers is found to have negative effects on their performance of roles. Second, work environment perceived by child care teachers such as relationship with the director, relationship with fellow teachers, welfare environment, support for teacher expertise, and factors related to operation or decision making are found to influence their performance of roles. Lastly, in correlation between work environment perceived by child care teachers and their performance of roles, ego resilience has regulating effects, and so does it in correlation between job stress and their performance of roles.
By examining the experience of residential child care staffs, this study explored the multifaceted aspects of inclusive care and discussed the direction of successful inclusive education implementation in residential child care facilities. Interviews were conducted with 10 care staffs experienced inclusive education at residential child care facilities, and qualitative case study method was used to analyze transcribing data. Care staffs were reluctant to carry out inclusive education. They felt guilty due to not enough care either for disabled or non-disabled children in the process of adapting to inclusive education. They were calling for immediate communication channels to get the necessary support on time. They also recognized needs for professional education for care staffs regarding care of disabled children, and to dispatch special education teachers. It was found that all participants in the study disagreed on three-shift policy. Lastly, the support measures according to the multifaceted aspects of inclusive care in residential child care facilities were discussed.
This paper evaluates the effects of the Basic Subsidy Program provided to families with infants cared for in private day care centers. There has been a discrepancy in the price and quality level between public and private day care centers. Public day care centers which receive government support in their labor costs are able to maintain relatively higher quality at lower price than their private counterparts, while the majority of children are cared for at private day care centers. To reduce the gap of the price and quality of care between public and private day care centers by improving the quality and decreasing the price of private day care centers, the Basic Subsidy Program was introduced in 2006 to the private day care centers. The subsidies mainly aim to improve the quality and the accessibility of child care, and encourage mothers' labor supply. For this purpose, the provision of the Basic Subsidy Program imposed prerequisites to the care providers including minimum wage and four major insurances for teachers, and child-staff ratio. I examine whether the subsidies improve the quality of care, help mothers balancing work and family, and increase satisfaction with child care from mothers' perspective. Since the outcome variables that measure the quality of care are difficult to obtain, I instead use the input variables for quality production. Child-staff ratio, teachers' welfare, and care environment are considered. The relationship between these variables and the introduction of subsidies is examined. The 2004 National Survey of Child Care and Education and the 2004 National Survey of Day Care Centers are used for the base data set. To reflect the outcomes after the Basic Subsidy Program, equivalent data sets for households and care providers are constructed by the KDI Data Analysis Unit. Using these nationally representative data sets, information regarding child care is collected. The findings show that the subsidies contribute to the quality of care improving the input variables of quality production. The welfare of teachers is improved, and the child-staff ratio significantly decreases. As a result, the usage of private day care centers greatly increases even though the price level rarely changes. However, mothers' satisfaction with child care are rarely affected by the subsidies. Although the subsidies with no eligibility criteria enlarge the recipients, the actual effects to increase maternal labor supply or to improve satisfaction is limited. Given this findings, I suggest some modifications of subsidies to raise the effectiveness of the subsidy program.

In the results of the study, conflict management methods in accordance with conflict level of team teaching nursery teachers showed significant differences in the type of 'integration' and 'avoidance' between groups. Second, job satisfaction in accordance with the conflict level of team teaching nursery teachers showed significant differences in the whole like 'director's operation method & attitude', 'social perception & treatment', 'childcare environment and welfare', 'childcare work', 'relation with colleagues', and 'relation with parents' between groups.
