This study research the effect that the reality therapy program reduces the occupational stress in company employee. The subjects of this research were company employees aged 30 to 49 in the A area and they work more than 2 years in company. They were divided into two groups: an experimental group of 10 company employee, and a control groups of 10 company employee. and executed the program to the experiment group. A measurement tool was used a standard occupational stress scale for korean employee that developed by The Korean Society of Occupational Stress. For the purpose of the study, it was t-test to analyze collected data. The result of the study was that the occupational stress in an experiment group which take part in the reality therapy program was meaning statistically reduced than the control group by p<.001. In the subordinate measure of occupational stress, the occupational demand, organization system, requital inappropriateness score has a significant result by p<.01 and the occupational self-regulation, relation discord, and occupational insecurity score has a significant result by p<.05. In sum, the occupational stress score of treatment group which take part in the reality program reduce significantly than the scores of control group. Thus, the reality therapy program significantly effect to reduced the company employee's occupational stress.
This study was conducted in an attempt to determine the factors that cause excessive daytime sleepiness among 927 subway station employees located in Seoul. Data were collected with a structured questionnaire through the web site and were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 statistical software. Results showed that marital status made a statistically significant difference in general characteristics, and hobby/leisure activities made a statistically significant difference in health-related characteristics. Workplace and satisfaction with the organization made a significant difference in job-related characteristics, and physical environment, job demand, job autonomy, relationship conflicts, organizational system, inappropriate compensation, and organizational culture made a statistically significant difference in job stress factors. Factors that affect excessive daytime sleepiness were hobby and leisure activities, satisfaction with the organization, physical environment, job demand, job autonomy, organizational system and organizational culture, showing a 20.5% explanatory power. This study proposes the operation of programs that can improve the physical environment, change the organizational system and increase satisfaction with the organizational culture among station employees in order that they can enjoy their hobby/leisure life and relieve job stress so that they can avoid excessive daytime sleepiness.
This study examined the burnout intermediates between Fire officials' job stress and Ego-resilience. The objective of this study is to suggest a policy that improves Fire officials' Ego-resilience. This survey was given to 365 fire officials in northern Gyeonggi-do region and the data was analyzed by correlation analysis and regression analysis using SPPS 22.0. The hypothesis is the Fire officials' burnout would be related to Ego-resilience and the effect on Fire officials' job stress regarding Ego-resilience is associated with burnout. The results of the study are that unstable work and inadequate reward affect the measure of burnout, which manifests as sarcasm and job efficacy and reduces the Fire officials' Ego-resilience that results in a positive pointing of the future, emotion control and interest. The meaning of policy is as follows: First, Fire officials need to be given confidence in their work stability. Second, they have to receive social or financial rewards. Third, they require a continuous supporting policy that solves their tension, physical and mental fatigue. Finally, developing diverse educational programs will be needed to promote their Ego-resilience.
This study is executed to investigate convergent factors to Job Satisfaction(JS) among Hospital Administrative Staff(HAS). The survey was administered to 221 staff from 11 general hospitals located in Jeonbuk area from Nov. 1st, 2016 to Jan. 31st, 2017. The structured self-administered questionaries were used. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the following results. The JS of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group without work shift, a group with more employees, a group in which self efficacy is higher, a group in which skill variety in job characteristics is higher, a group in which interpersonal conflict and lack of reward in occupational stress are lower. The results show explanatory power of 61.0%. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to increase self efficacy, and to manage job characteristics and occupational stress, are required to improve the JS among HAS. The results are expected to be useful for the program and human resource management to related to the JS among HAS. In the following study, the analysis of structural equation modeling about additional factors of the JS among HAS will be needed.
The Purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between congenital muscular torticollis and maternal work activity. This study was conducted with a total of 89 outpatient pregnant women whose child presented congenital muscular torticollis at the Department of Rehabilitation of "C" Hospital in Suwon within the period from 2006 to April 30, 2011. The results were as followings: (1) The mean age at the time of giving birth was 30.09years; the proportion of pregnant women with college education or higher was high; the proportion of first delivery was 82.0%; the most common way of delivery was natural childbirth, followed by Cesarean section and vacuum extraction; the proportion of breech delivery was 20.2%; and in 82.0% of the women, the first child had congenital muscular torticollis. (2) 59.6% of the women had a career; 45.3% had engaged in professional practice or had a related job; 75.5% had worked until the third trimester of their pregnancy; 54.7% had worked for seven hours or more in a seated position; and the mean number of working hours was 8.75 (3) The level of work-related stress was a low 25% or less, and in the subdivisions of work-related stress, only the level of strained relations belonged to the upper 50% or higher. (4) For the correlation between the survey respondents' job stress and job features, stress (full score: 100 points) showed a strong positive correlation with job demand, strained relations, inadequate reward, and workplace culture. Workplace also showed a strong positive correlation with inadequate reward. Mean daily working hours showed a strong positive correlation with mean weekly working hours.

This study aims to investigate the factors influencing job satisfaction to job stress of physician assistant(PA) nurses. This research design was a descriptive study. The subjects in this study were 104 PA nurses. Data were collected from September 1, 2010 to January 10, 2011, and analyzed by SPSS PASW statistics 18.0 program. The mean score of men on the job stress was 43.47(${\pm}13.77$), The mean score of women was 45.07(${\pm}9.78$). The mean score of job satisfaction was 2.72(${\pm}0.30$). There was no statistical difference between general characteristics and job satisfaction. There were statistical difference between unmarried subjects and organizing system(p<.05), inadequate compensation(p<.01). In the results of multivariate regression analysis, adjusted $R^2$ value was 0.567. The model fit was 56.7%. Job satisfaction was low in the insufficient job control and inadequate organizing system. It is hospital policies for the reduction of job stress(particularly, insufficient job control, and organizing system stress).

This study aims to investigate the impact of job stress on the job satisfaction and life satisfaction of local government officials who participated in the reading academy from January 2023 to March 2023. The research involved collecting 300 questionnaires and conducting multiple regression analysis to analyze the obtained data. The results of the study are presented below. Impact of Job Stress on Job Satisfaction: The analysis revealed that among the sub-factors of job stress, inappropriate compensation significantly increases job stress among local government officials in the reading academy. Moreover, the study found that turnover intention was particularly high when compensation was not recognized as appropriate, indicating it as the most significant source of job stress. Impact of Job Stress on Life Satisfaction: The findings demonstrate that several factors negatively influence job stress, leading to reduced life satisfaction among local government officials in the reading academy. These factors include undesirable changes in working conditions or situations, anxiety about reorganization, inconsistent work orders, gender discrimination, and an authoritative organizational atmosphere. Effect of Job Satisfaction on Life Satisfaction: The analysis of the relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction indicated that turnover intention and remuneration level in job satisfaction positively influenced emotional satisfaction. Conversely, the job itself and interpersonal relationships had a significant negative effect on emotional satisfaction. Furthermore, the job itself and the level of remuneration in job satisfaction showed a significant positive effect on physical satisfaction. Similarly, the job itself and the level of remuneration in job satisfaction positively affected social satisfaction, while the intention to change jobs had a significant negative impact.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes of stress and cumulative stress in 49 people and the changes of job stress, socio-psychological stress and anxiety relief levels by conducting a survey of 85 people after Gyorae forest bathing. Methods: The level of stress was measured using the uBioMacpa, and questionnaire was conducted to derive the data. Results: In the stress level after the forest bath, the control group showed no significant and the experimental group showed a significant decrease in the bathing (p<.043). In the cumulative stress change, the control group showed no significant difference after the bathing, but experimental group decreased significantly (p<.02), and in the variance analysis, there was a significant difference between the groups, and also between the group and the before and after tests (p<.002). In the questionnaire about job stress, there was no significant difference in physical environment and job demand. Overall, in the case of job stress, there was a significant decrease (p<.001). Job autonomy, relationship conflict, organizational unfairness, inadequate compensation, and workplace culture also had a significant decrease in stress (p<.001). The social psychological stress was significantly decreased after bathing (p<.001). The state anxiety decreased significantly (p<.001) after forest bathing. Conclusions: After the forest bathing in the Gyorae forest, the stress and anxiety are both reduced and significant, providing basic information that is very helpful as a natural healing place for stress relief.
From a historical point of view, while the Warsaw Convention was passed in 1924 to regulate the unified judicial responsibility in the global air transportation industry, protection of airline consumers was somewhat lacking in protecting air carriers. In principle, the air carrier does not bear any obligation or liability when the aircraft is not operated normally due to natural disasters such as typhoon or heavy snowfall. However, in recent years, in developed countries such as the US and Europe, there has been a movement in which regulates the air carriers' obligation to protect their passengers even if there is no misconduct or negligence. Furthermore, the legislation of such advanced countries imposes an obligation on the airlines to compensate the loss separately from damages in case the abnormal operation of the aircraft is not caused by force majeure but caused by their negligence. Under this historical and international context, Korea is also modifying the system of aviation consumer protection by referring to other foreign legislation. However, when compared with foreign countries, our norm has a few drawbacks. First, the airline's protection or care obligations are mixed with the legal liability for damages in the provision, which seems to be due to the lack of understanding of the airline's passenger protection obligation. The liability for damages, which is governed by the International Convention or the Commercial Act, shall be determined by judging the cause of the airline's liability in respect of the damage of the individual passenger in the course of the air transportation. However, the duty to care and the burden for compensation shall be granted to all passengers who feel uncomfortable with the abnormal operation regardless of the cause of the accident. Also, our compensation system for denied boarding due to oversale is too low compared to the case of foreign countries, and setting the compensation amount range differently based on the time for the re-routing is somewhat unclear. Regarding checked-baggage claim, it will be necessary to refund the fee only from the fact that the baggage is delayed without asking whether there is any damage occurred from the delayed baggage. This is the content of the duty to care, which is different from the current Commercial Act or the international convention, in which responsibility is different depending on whether the airline takes all the necessary measures in order to prevent delaying of the baggage. The content of force majeure, which is a requirement for exemption from the obligation to care passengers on the airplane, shall be reconsidered. Maintenance for safe navigation is not considered to be included in force majeure, and connection to airplanes, airport conditions are disputable. According to the EC Regulation, if the cause of the abnormal operation of the airline is force majeure, the airline's compensation obligation is exempted but the duty to care of airline company is still meaningful. Furthermore, even if the main role of aviation consumer protection is on an airline, it is the responsibility of government agencies to supervise the fulfillment of such protection obligations. Therefore, it is necessary for the Korean government to actively take measures such as enforcing incentives for airlines that faithfully fulfill their obligation to care and imposed penalties on the contrary.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting occupational therapist's job stress through meta-analysis. Methods : In order to achieve the purpose of the study, 15 studies that examined job stress of occupational therapists were selected for analysis. The general characteristics of individual papers and the magnitude of the effect of related variables on job stress were calculated. The effect size of related variables on job stress and sub-factors (Fisher z) were calculated. Results : The results were found that the effect size on job stress was not significant in the variables of education level, salary and age. The largest effect size was found to be turnover intention (ES=1.161). There was no significant effect size in sub-factors of interpersonal conflict, organization system and insufficient job control. There was a significant effects in physical environment, lack of reward, job insecurity, job demand and occupational climate. Conclusion : The results of this study were suggested that an approach depending on sub-factors is needed to reduce job stress of occupational therapists. Satisfaction, burnout, and self-efficacy, which are psychological factors, are considered to be needed a program for psychological empowerment in order to reduce the job stress of the occupational therapist with a medium effect size according to individual sub-factors.
