  • 공기조화기는 건물내에서 일하는 사람의 공기환경을 좋게 하기 위한 시설로서 실내작업자와는 밀접한 관계가 있다. 공기환경에서는 공기의 온도, 습도와 풍속유지 범위를 정하고 탄산가스, 일산화탄소 및 부유먼지 함유량을 규제하고 있다. 더욱 정기적 측정을 하여 그 기록을 보관해야 한다. 이상과 같이 실내환경에 대한 감시가 엄격해짐으로 실내환경에 신경을 써야 할 것이다. 이런 문제 때문에 공기기술자라 할지라도 공기조화기의 기능을 어느정도 이해해 둘 필요가 있다, 그래서 2회에 걸쳐 공기조화기의 기초지식과 실무 주안점을 소개할까 한다.

  • In temperature controlled batch reactor, the effect of temperature and contact metals on the thermal stability of Exo-tricyclo[$5.2.1.0^{2,6}$]decane (tricyclodecane, exo-THDCP) were investigated by use of GC/MS. And the characteristic of metal in contact with tricyclodecane were analyzed by SEM-EDX. In fuel temperature variation test, thermal decomposition of exo-THDCP was occurred at $350^{\circ}C$. In case of fuel contact metals, Titanium was less effective to decomposition of exo-THDCP than stainless steel 304, 316.

  • 핵융합 장치의 플라즈마 운행동안 토카막 내벽에 도달하는 온도는 최저 $600^{\circ}C$ 이상이다. 또한 플라즈마 자체와 사용자(User)들의 시료로부터 방출되는 입자들에 의한 내벽 충격(damage)은 장기간의 안정적인 운행 및 연구에 심각한 영향을 미친다. 이러한 이유로 토카막 제작시 내벽 보호재의 선정은 매우 높은 비중을 차지한다. Graphite는 높은 융점과 가공의 용이성으로 토카막 내벽의 보호재로 선호되는 물질이다. 그러나 토카막 용기(vessel)에 사용되는 스테인레스 스틸(AISI 316LN)보다 약 50배 이상의 기체 방출율(outgassing rate)을 가진다. 그러므로 장착 이전의 초기 청정화 과정이 매우 중요하며, 특히 400m2의 약 2톤(2000kg)의 graphite가 사용되므로 대량 처리를 할 수 있는 방법의 선정도 함께 개발되어야 한다. 본 연구팀에서는 처음 10개 회사의 시제품을 검토한 후, 최종 2개 회사의 4가지 종류의 시료를 선정하였다. 선정된 시료는 Union Carbide의 ATJ와 Toyo Tanso의 IG-110, IG-43, Ig-430이다. 시료는 비절삭유(oil-free) 가공에 의해 80$\times$2$\times$3 (mm)의 크기로 제작되었고 에탄올과 메탄올 용액에서 초음파 세척되었다. 건조된 시료는 TDS(Thermal Desorption Spectroscopy) 장치에 장착되어 세 단계의 실험을 하였다. 처음은 승온(상온 ~100$0^{\circ}C$)에 의한 방출 기체의 성분 분석, 두 번째는 장기간 (2주) 대기 노출 후 주요 방출 기체의 온도에 따른 변화, 마지막으로는 특정 기체에서의 장기간 보관후, 주요 방출 기체의 온도에 따른 변화를 조사하였다. 다음 그림 1은 본 연구에서 사용된 TDS 장치의 개략도이고 그림 2는 TDS 장치에 장착 직 후와 대기 중 노출된 시료들의 온도증가에 따른 총 압력의 변화이다.

  • This paper introduces a study on reliability-driven device placement using simulated annealing algorithm which can be applicable to MCM or electronic systems embedded in a spacecraft running at thermal conduction environment. Reliability of the unit's has been predicted with the devices' junction temperatures calculated from FDM solver and optimized by simulated annealing algorithm. Simulated annealing in this paper adopts swapping devices method as a perturbation. This paper describes and compares the optimization simulation results with respect to two objective functions: minimization of failure rate and minimization of average junction temperature. Annealing temperature variation simulation case and equilibrium coefficient variation simulation case are also presented at the two respective objective functions. This paper proposes a new approach for reliability optimization of MCM and electronic systems considering those simulation results.

  • In this paper, a remote control system capable of monitoring and controlling the temperature of a refrigerator in real time using the ZigBee communication technology is developed. The developed system provides 24-hour surveillance function including temperature maintenance and it is able to determine monitored data from a remote location and to change the setting of the temperature value. In case the value is out of the setting, it is designed for administrators to verify the problem and take action, sending alarms to management server and the emergency to a preset administrator via SMS. Applying this system to refrigerators storing commercial, medical, and experimental material, the real time status such as temperature and malfunction of refrigerator can be managed up to 16 SZM(Slave Zigbee Module) by only one MZM(Master Zigbee Module).

  • Optical Temperature Distribution Sensor Measurement System uses fiber optic sensors itself for temperature measurement is a system which can be measured the Installed surrounding entire temperature as a thousand points by laying a single strand of fiber optic. If there are a lot of measuring points in the distribution Measurement, the cost of each measuring point can be reduced the cost level of existing sensors and at the same time this has the advantage of connecting all sensors as one or two strands of fiber. Generally Optical Fiber is used for communication but Optical Fiber itself can be used for sensor and it has the characteristic of sensor function which can be measured Temperature in the at least each one meter distance. By using these characteristics each sensor and the number of Connection Lines can be reduced. In this paper, we implement a real time temperature monitoring system, which is easy to manage and control for data storage, data management, data storage using a computer and which has the functions of monitoring and correction according to Real-time temperature changes using historical temperature data.

EFFECT OF PRE-HEATING ON SOME PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF COMPOSITE RESIN (중합 전 열처리가 복합레진의 일부 물성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of pre-heating on some physical properties of composite resin. Eighty extracted, noncarious human molars were used in the present study. Four different temperatures of composite resin were used: $4^{\circ}C$, $17^{\circ}C$, $48^{\circ}C$, and $56^{\circ}C$. The $4^{\circ}C$ and $17^{\circ}C$ values represented the refrigerator storage temperature and room temperature respectively. For $48^{\circ}C$ and $56^{\circ}C$, composite resin was heated to the temperatures. As physical properties of composite resin, shear bond strength, microhardness, and degree of conversion were measured. The data for each group were subjected to one-way ANOVAs followed by the Tukey's HSD test at 95% confidence level. Both in enamel and dentin, among composite resin of $4^{\circ}C$, $17^{\circ}C$ $;48^{\circ}C$, and $56^{\circ}C$, the pre-heated composite resin up to $56^{\circ}C$ revealed the highest shear bond strength, and pre-heated composite resin to the higher temperature revealed higher shear bond strength. Microhardness value was also higher with composite resin of higher temperature. Degree of conversion was also higher with composite resin of the higher temperature. In this study, it seems that pre-heating composite resin up to the higher temperature may show higher shear bond strength, higher microhardness value, and higher degree of conversion. Therefore, when using composite resin in the clinic, preheating the composite resin could be recommended to have enhanced physical properties of it.

Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment of Non-thermal Processed Japanese Foods Using Monte Carlo Simulation (몬테카를로 시뮬레이션을 이용한 일식메뉴 중 비가열 처리 식품의 정량적 위해평가)

  • The aim of this study was to control the outbreak of food pathogen through quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA). We used Monte Calro Simulation (MCS) to predict contamination levels of Staphylococcus aureus on the raw materials, equipments and cook in Japanese restaurant located in Seoul. The result of sensitivity analysis showed that the most significant factor for the outbreak of food pathogen was consumption temperature and storage time. In shrimp and octopus sushi, 'consumption temperature' was the highest sensitivity value of 0.419 followed by 'storage time' of 0.374. To increase safety of sushi, consumers should have sushi as soon as possible after cooking. In sushi 'storage time after cooking' was determined as Critical Control Point (CCP). To determine Control Limit (CL), Scenario Analysis (SA) was carried out. In sushi, SA was carried out using storage time as a unit condition. Safety level of S. aureus was set lower than 5 log CFU/g. After 2 hr 'storage time' the number of S. aureus increased to 3.908 log CFU/g. Therefore, 'storage time' of sushi was set as CL in case of room temperature storage.
