Effects of Task-Oriented Training With Functional Electrical Stimulation on Cervical Spinal Cord Injury Patients' Hand Function: A Single-Subject Experimental Design (기능적 전기 자극을 병행한 과제 지향적 훈련이 경수 손상 환자의 손 기능에 미치는 영향: 개별사례 연구)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of task-oriented training with functional electrical stimulation on hand function in incomplete cervical cord injury. Method : The subjects of the study were 3 adults diagnosed as incomplete cervical cord injury. The design of this study was ABA single-subject research design to compare dominant hand function of before and after intervention and detect individual effects. The experiment consisted of 30sessions, in which baseline process A1 and A2 were implemented 5 sessions each for 10sessions. Intervention B was implemented 20 sessions. The dependent variable was converted to the change of hand function every session, and Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM), Jebsen-Taylor Hand Function Test(JTHFT), Wolf Motor Function Test(WMFT) were selected for outcome measurements. Result analysis was suggested through visual analysis using a graph and comparison of pre, post and follow-up intervention measurements. Results : As a result, the quality and quantity of dominant hand function increased during intervention B compared to the baseline A1 for all subjects. Baseline A2 was also maintained without training. Additionally, JTHFT, WMFT and COPM scores demonstrated improvement and maintain. The follow up JTHFT and WMFT showed increased required time on all subjects and decrease or maintain task performance and satisfaction in COPM. Conclusion : The task-oriented training with function electrical stimulation in this study has been positive effects on hand function and task performance and satisfaction.

Suggestion of Challenges and Improvement Direction for the Degree-Linked High-Skilled Professional Course in Accordance with the Full Expansion of the Work-Study Combination PBL (일학습병행 PBL 확대에 따른 학위연계형 고숙련마이스터 과정의 과제와 개선방향 제안)

  • After the work-study combination PBL method was first introduced into the P-Tech type in 2018, it was introduced into the degree-linked high-skilled professional course in operation as a pilot project in 2020, and ever since each department has reorganized the standard completion system to meet the PBL operation regulations and developed and operated PBL-based learning and training courses accordingly. With the expansion of the work-study combination PBL in 2021, the operating regulations were revised more elaborately. This paper examined the characteristics of the work-study combination PBL, the PBL operation regulations for each degree-linked high-skilled professional course, and the most recently implemented PBL operation regulations in detail through literature research. Based on this research, it introduced the development process and the result of the PBL-based standard completion system by the IT Convergence SW Engineering Department of KOREATECH and the result of the survey conducted to verify the suitability of the standard completion system after an operation and presented the challenges and improvements required for the degree-linked high-skilled professional course in relation to the changing operation regulations for the work-study combination PBL. This study is expected to provide universities with a reference to the development of training courses to smoothly apply the work-study combination PBL. It is also expected to contribute to the establishment and steady expansion of a unique PBL system that reflects the characteristics of work-study combination by presenting discourses on how the work-study combination PBL should develop, including high-skilled professional courses.

The Effect of Mental Practice with Task Activities on Upper Limbs Movement Speed and Accuracy of Ideomotor Apraxia Patients : Single Subject Experimental Research (상상연습과 과제활동 병행 치료가 관념운동 실행증 환자의 상지 움직임 속도와 정확성에 미치는 효과: 단일사례 실험연구)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of mental practice with task activities through upper limbs movement speed and accuracy in ideomotor apraxia patient. Methods : As a single subject research design with multiple baseline across individuals, the patients were two ideomotor apraxia patients, employed in this study. The employed program included receiving mental practice and task activities, measuring change of the total performance times, time to put down the last cups and amount of water in cups for 4 weeks, including baseline and intervention periods. The subject were measured by Ideomotor apraxia test and MFT were analyzed. The analyses were performed using visually and two-standard deviation band method. Results : All subjects were a reduction in symptoms of apraxia, but noticeable change in upper limbs function was not there. Total time of performance from 376.67 to 355.24 seconds, 391.33 seconds to 434.60 seconds, reduced. Put down the cup of performance time from 15.67 to 13.30 seconds, 20.80 seconds to 10.73 seconds, reduced. The amount of water transferred from 52.38ml to 49.70ml, 50.89ml to 50.09ml, all results were closer to 50ml. Conclusion : As a result of this study, mental practice with task activities can be an effective method to ideomotor apraxia patients. This study would serve a fundamental data on ideomotor apraxia patients to the further studies.

  • There is a little curriculum for gifted and talented elementary information. Generally parallel curriculum model(PCM) for gifted children is being applied to many subjects. It is necessary to apply the PCM for gifted elementary children of information science. This model is a prime example of a training program was applied to the encryption. There are four parallel curriculum model. The four curriculum model can be used individually or combined, may be used only partially. In this study, the benefits of parallel curriculum model in order to reflect as much as possible in order all four courses were used. This program for 19 students in the gifted children for information science class were applied to four periods. Observe and record the activities of students in class, the survey targeted learners, assignments, methods of analysis were used. We found that the level of the program was suitable and the aspects of giftedness such as an ability to focus on the task and an ability to solve the problem were enhanced. Moreover, participants became more interested in the topic of encryption following the program.

  • 지방중소기업의 애로기술을 지역대학의 우수한 인력과 자원을 활용하여 현지 업체 가 해결할 수 없는 기술을 지도하고 지원하여, 지방공과 대학이 당해 지방소재 중소기업의 공동 연구소로 활용될 수 있도록 산학연 공동 기술개발 지역 컨소시엄 사업이 통상산업부의 지원하에 많은 학교와 지방 중소기업이 현재 진행중이거나 추진 중에 있다. 본 연구 개발 과제는 산,학,연 지역 컨소시엄 개발 과제로서 96년 초부터 시작되어 97년 6월중에 완료 예정으로 현재 모든 테스트가 완료되고 현업 업무와 병행 가동 중에 있다. 그리고, 이 연구 개발 과제는 밸브 제조 산업을 중심으로 한 생산 공정 관리와 기타 기존에 개발되어 있는 Module 간에 데이터공유와 Interface에 중점을 두고 개발하였으며, 특히 공정 관리에서 Job Schedule을 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 표준 모델을 정립하는데 중점을 두고 개발하였다.

Effect of tDCS Stimulation for Improving Working Memory on Stroke Patients' EEG Variation (작업기억의 향상을 위한 tDCS 자극이 뇌졸중 환자의 뇌파변화에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted so as to examine which change tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) for improving working memory can make on the EEC of stroke patients. Among the patients who suffered for more than 6 months by hemiparalysis caused by stroke, 20 patients selected by MMSE and DST were randomly divided into I group (10 patients) fulfilled by only CCT and II group (10 patients) fulfilled by both tDCS and CCT for total 4 weeks, 30 minutes per a day, three times per a week. For examining EEC variation, the absolute spectrum power was calculated by three bands (${\theta}$; 4~8 Hz, lower ${\alpha}$; 8~10.5 Hz, upper ${\alpha}$;10.5~13 Hz) during the task of words, photos and mental calculation with EEC test, before the arbitration, after 2 weeks and after 4 weeks, so the rate of increase and decrease (%) for the reference EEC was obtained. As the results, the first, particular aspects different one another in three bands were detected according to the measuring period and task. The second, in the forth week, there was only a significant difference in lower ${\alpha}$-power of all tasks. Therefore, through the procedure measuring EEC of this study, the degree of working memory's damage can be expressed by numerical value and tDCS should be additionally helpful for brain damaged patients' perception rehabilitation.

  • The purpose of this study is to survey the problems of the record appraisal system based on value of "Business Transaction (Danwi-gwaje)" and suggest a way to solve the problems in Korean government agencies. This study begins with analyzing the many negative cases of creating wrong "Business Transaction" profiles and making discordances between value of records and value of transaction, through data mainly from focused group interviews of six record professionals in central government agencies. It concludes with suggesting a new records appraisal model that assigns the retention periods to multiple entities to solve the problems of the current record appraisal system.

A Study for Improving Differentiated Mathematics Instruction Using Open Problems and Inventing Open Problems in the Elementary School (초등학교 수준별 수학 수업에서 열린 문제의 활용과 열린 문제 구성 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Mathematics educators have tried to teach mathematics to all students who are at any mathematical level by differentiated math instruction from late 1990s in Korea. The common differentiated math instruction separates students into two or three groups according to their mathematical ability and then different activities and tasks are given to each group. This kind of instruction fosters negative attitudes to mathematics to low level students and fix them at low level. So I investigated new mathematics instruction considering able students and low attainers at the same time. This new method is based on using open problems in math class. All students can respond to an open problem in different ways. If teachers could relate all varieties of answers got from students at every level to build good understanding the concept which the problem target at, low attainers could move to their potential developmental levels. This kind of instruction can change low math attainers' negative attitudes to good ones to mathematics and foster their confidence in performing mathematics.
