In this paper, An algorithm which converts 2D video frames into 3D video frames of parallel looking stereo camea is proposed. The proposed algorithm finds the disparity information between two consecutive video frames and generates 3D video frames from the obtained disparity maps. The disparity information is obtained from the modified iterative convergence algorithm. The method of generating 3D video frames from the disparity information is also proposed. The proposed algorithm uses coherence method which overcomes the video pattern based algorithms.
This paper presents the prediction of deep excavation-induced ground surface movements using artificial neural network(ANN) technique, which is of prime importance in the damage assessment of adjacent buildings. A finite element model, which can realistically replicate deep excavation-induced ground movements, was employed to perform a parametric study on deep excavations with emphasis on ground movements. The result of the finite element analysis formed a basis for the Artificial Neural Network(ANN) system development. It was shown that the developed ANN system can be effective for a first-order prediction of ground movements associated with deep-excavation.

This study is to derive the types of displacement and damage that occur in wooden architecture cultural assets. Although the wooden architectural cultural assets are being repaired through continuous maintenance, secondary problems frequently occur. This is because the root cause of the problem has yet to be solved. The types of displacement and damage that occur in the wooden architecture cultural asset are classified into three parts: the foundation section, the gagu section, and the roof section. In turn, the three main factors that lead to displacement and damages are the structures' load impact, the durability deterioration, and the imbalance. Load impact is a phenomenon in which the member is subjected to a load that causes deformation or cracks. Durability decline is a natural phenomenon that reduces the performance of lumber as a result of check shake, termite damage, and decay. The imbalance is a condition in which the lumber is twisted and the force balance is lost, due to either drying shrinkage or displacement of the gagu section.

An energy balance procedure is developed to incorporate the effects of earthquake duration which involves the effect of cyclic loading and the corresponding cumulative plastic deformation. Particular emphasis is given to the flexural failure of non-seismically designed columns of reinforced concrete frames. For this, conceptual strength deterioration models for columns, governed by concrete, anchorage failure and longitudinal steel fracture due to low-cycle fatigue, are proposed. It is evident that the energy-based method has good agreement with the experimental data and is able to predict the failure mode.
The present study was performed to prove the relationship between CO-CR discrepancy and facial skeletal type. In this study, 242 subjects were randomly selected and devided into 9 groups(devided into class I, II, III by ANB and each one devided into dolicho-, brachy-, mesofacial skeleton by Ricketts' vertical index). Lateral cephalometric radiographs with the mandible in centric occlusion were taken and measured and CO and CR bites were registered on all subjects. Diagnostic casts were mounted on Panadent articulator using an estimated face-bow and centric relation bite registration. The amount and direction of CO-CR discrepancy present was recorded using a Condylar Position Indicator(CPI) and a centric occlusion wax bite registration. CPI measurements and cephalometric measurements were statistically analyzed. The finding of this study can be summerized as follows : 1. There is little correlation between right and left sides for magnitude or direction of CO-CR discrepancies. The correlation between the magnitude of CO-CR discrepancy of left A-P and right A-P is higher than that of left S-I and right S-I. 2. Correlation of Class II malocclusion group was higher than that of the other groups between the magnitude of CO-CR discrepancy of left CPI and right CPI. 3. There is no difference between the pattern of CO-CR discrepancy of 9 malocclusion groups. 4. There is very little, if any, correlation between Skeletofacial measurements and CO-CR discrepancy. 5. In Class II brachyfacial skeleton and Class III mesofacial skeleton there was Lateral cephalometric measurements by that we predict CPI measurements was detected. That was overbite, overjet, upper genial angle, lower genial angle, saddle angle, articular angle, convexity of point A, ANS-Me/Na-Me, PCBL/RH, Posterior FH/anterior FH.

Displaced non-Keplerian orbit, center of mass is displaced from orbit plane, enables special spacecraft missions. It requires continuous thrust to maintain the orbit, and solar sail is useful for this purpose. Equations for feasible region and stability analysis are derived for non-Keplerian orbit for general continuous thrust. Differences for solar sail spacecraft are discussed. Non-keplerian orbits are classified into four types. Location-specific required accelerations for orbit maintenance are calculated. Orbit stabilities of each orbit type are analyzed and verified by numerical simulations. In order to control non-Keplerian orbit in unstable region, a control algorithm using the real-time LQR control is developed and evaluated by numerical simulations.

Many electric poles in the softground have been collapsed due to external load such as typhoon wind load. In this study, the location, numbers and depths of acnchor blocks as well as depth of poles were varied to find horizontal displacement of poles through pull-out tests. The 10 types of tests were performed, and lateral displacements showed differences depending on location, numbers and depth of poles. The bending is generated in the upper part at the initial load, but it moved to central part as load increased. The maximum horizontal displacement decreased to 1/1.6 at -0.5[m] depth of anchor block and 1.3[m] additional laying depth of poles into ground. Two anchor blocks of poles are better than one acnchor block system, but one anchor block system is recommended because difference of displacement is not too large, and constructibilty is bad due to increase of excavation for anchor blocks.
